        The Analysis Of The Aesthetic Characteristics Of Hollywood Live Animated Movies

        라이브 액션 애니메이션(LIVE ACTION ANIMATION) 으로 실제 배우들을 촬영한 후 컴퓨터 그래픽을 위에 입혀 마치 한 폭의 인상파 그림처럼 제작한 것입니다. 실제 배우와 애니메이션의 결합은 진정한 감정을 부각시킬 뿐만 아니라 애니메이션의 화면을 과장하고 재미있게 표현할 수도 있다. 영화 화면을 실제와 환상의 결합으로 표현한다. 세계 영화의 발전에 있어서 할리우드 라이브 액션 애니메이션 영화가 큰 공헌을 했다, 본 연구를 통해서 할리우드 라이브 애니메이션 영화의 주제는 동화성의 경향이 가지고 있다. 코미디 영화를 창작 사유로 현실 사회문제를 반성하는 것이다. 화려한 장면을 통해서 시청자들의 흥미를 유발하며, 영화의 주제를 드러나게 한다. 할리우드 라이브 액션 애니메이션 영화의 발전 역사는 바로 세계의 라이브 액션 애니메이션의 역사의 축소판이라서 연구가치가 크다고 한다. 이 논문은 동화성, 코미디성, 감상성, 색상성의 네 가지 측면에서 라이브 액션 애니메이션 영화의 심미 특징을 분석한다. 할리우드 라이브 액션 애니메이션 영화를 연구를 통해서 아시아의 라이브 액션 애니메이션 영화의 발전에 도움이 될 거라고 생각한다. Live animated movies, using of special photography and animation movie to form cartoon images and real actors together in one film. The combination of live characters and animation not only can highlight the true feelings, but also reveal the particular exaggeration and interestingness of animation movies. The presentation of the movie screen is also a combination of actuality and fantasy. Hollywood live-action animated movie has made tremendous contribution to the development of the world. The development history of former is also reflecting the world`s live-action animated movie. Also, that is the epitome of the history of live-action animated film in the world. Hollywood is undoubtedly a good model to study live-action animated films. The study found that Hollywood live animated film have the fairy tale tendency in the selection of the theme, and they are good at using comic creative thinking to reflect the reality in order to create a spectacular visual spectacle to entertainment audience and express the felling by using gorgeous color. This article is going to analyze the aesthetic characteristics of Hollywood live-action animated film and movie from four aspects of fairy tale features, comedy features, spectacle of images and color effect. In-depth study of Hollywood live animated films will play an active role in developing Asian live animated film industry.

        Effects of thymosin β4 on wound healing of rat palatal mucosa.

        <P>The objective of the present study was to investigate the effect of thymosin beta(4) (T beta(4)) on the wound healing of rat palatal (RP) mucosa and related cellular properties. Cell viability, adhesion and migration of primary cultured RP cells were observed in the presence of T beta(4) at various concentrations ranging from 1 to 1,000 ng/ml. The mRNA and protein expression of matrix metalloproteinase 2 (MMP2) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in T beta(4)-treated RP cells was assessed by quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) and western blot analysis, respectively. For the in vivo assay, T beta(4) was applied to excisional wounds (3 mm in diameter) that were made in the center of the palate (n=6). Images of the wound areas were captured and assessed histologically one week after surgery. T beta(4) did not affect cell viability and adhesion, but RP cell migration was stimulated by T beta(4) at concentrations of 100 and 1,000 ng/ml. T beta(4) also increased the mRNA and protein expression of MMP2 and VEGF in RP cells. In the animal model, palatal wound closure was significantly enhanced in rats treated with T beta(4). The results of the present study indicated that T beta(4) promotes the wound healing of RP mucosa. Enhancement of RP cell migration and angiogenesis is likely to be involved in the promotion of wound healing.</P>

        Effects of the iron‐chelating agent deferoxamine on triethylene glycol dimethacrylate, 2‐hydroxylethyl methacrylate, hydrogen peroxide‐induced cytotoxicity

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>Triethylene glycol dimethacrylate (TEGDMA) and 2‐hydroxylethyl methacrylate (HEMA) are known to deplete glutathione in mammalian cells, generate reactive oxygen species (ROS), and cause oxidative stress. In this study, we investigated whether hydroxyl radicals (·OH), the most lethal and genotoxic ROS, and the Fenton reaction are involved in the cytotoxicity of resin monomers to four different cell types, namely MC3T3‐E1 preosteoblasts, human dental pulp cells (HDPCs), human gingival fibroblasts, and L929 mouse fibroblasts. Deferoxamine (DFO), an iron chelating agent, effectively protected MC3T3‐E1 cells from resin monomer‐induced cytotoxicity, indicating that cytotoxicity was caused primarily by hydroxyl radicals. However, DFO only had a protective effect against relatively high concentrations of TEGDMA and HEMA in HDPCs and human gingival fibroblasts, and resin monomer‐induced cytotoxicity in L929 was not attenuated by DFO. A labile iron pool (LIP) was detectable only in MC3T3‐E1 cells among the four cell types. This indicates that the generation of hydroxyl radicals induced by resin monomers is likely dependent on LIP levels. In contrast to resin monomers, hydrogen peroxide (H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB>)‐induced cytotoxicity was not prevented by DFO in any of the cell types examined, although hydroxyl radicals were detected in MC3T3‐E1 cells and HDPCs on exposure to exogenous H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB>. This result suggests that generation of hydroxyl radicals is not always the primary cause of cytotoxicity in H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB>‐treated cells. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.         Segmental Quantitative MR Imaging Analysis of Diurnal Variation of Water Content in the Lumbar Intervertebral Discs

        To investigate the changes in water content in the lumbar intervertebral discs by quantitative T2 MR imaging in the morning after bed rest and evening after a diurnal load. Twenty healthy volunteers were separately examined in the morning after bed rest and in the evening after finishing daily work. T2-mapping images were obtained and analyzed. An equally-sized rectangular region of interest (ROI) was manually placed in both, the anterior and the posterior annulus fibrosus (AF), in the outermost 20% of the disc. Three ROIs were placed in the space defined as the nucleus pulposus (NP). Repeated-measures analysis of variance and paired 2-tailed t tests were used for statistical analysis, with p < 0.05 as significantly different. T2 values significantly decreased from morning to evening, in the NP (anterior NP = -13.9 ms; central NP = -17.0 ms; posterior NP = -13.3 ms; all p < 0.001). Meanwhile T2 values significantly increased in the anterior AF (+2.9 ms; p = 0.025) and the posterior AF (+5.9 ms; p < 0.001). T2 values in the posterior AF showed the largest degree of variation among the 5 ROIs, but there was no statistical significance (p = 0.414). Discs with initially low T2 values in the center NP showed a smaller degree of variation in the anterior NP and in the central NP, than in discs with initially high T2 values in the center NP (10.0% vs. 16.1%, p = 0.037; 6.4% vs. 16.1%, p = 0.006, respectively). Segmental quantitative T2 MRI provides valuable insights into physiological aspects of normal discs.

        The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate the customer behavior based on the Chinese luxury cosmetic customers. A survey methodology was used. Data were collected from female customers who are living in Yangtze River Delta and of ages are between 30 to 40 years old. A total of 500 questionnaires were collected. The results indicate that consumers who are married are inclined to buy more luxury cosmetic. Moreover, people who had high school degrees tend to be luxury cosmetic consumers. Besides, people in the middle-income brackets of society like luxury cosmetic more. Finally, this study suggests the implications of these findings.

        Lactic acid bacterial inoculant effects on the vitamin content of alfalfa and Chinese leymus silage

        Objective: Information regarding the vitamin content of silage is limited. This study investigated the changes in the vitamin content of alfalfa and Chinese leymus silages with or without a lactic acid bacterial inoculant. Methods: Alfalfa at the early flowering stage and Chinese leymus at the full-bloom stage were harvested. The treatments for each forage type were control (deionized water only) and 1×106 colony-forming units Lactobacillus plantarum (LP)/g fresh matter. After 45 days of ensiling, all silages were sampled for evaluating the vitamin content, fermentation quality and chemical composition. Results: The LP inoculant decreased the pH value and ammonia nitrogen content of the alfalfa and Chinese leymus silages and significantly (p<0.05) increased the lactic acid, acetic acid concentrations and Flieg’s points. Prior to ensiling, the levels of five B-group vitamins (thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, and pyridoxine) and α-tocopherol in alfalfa were significantly (p<0.01) higher than those in Chinese leymus. Ensiling decreased the levels of the five B-group vitamins in both alfalfa and Chinese leymus while increasing the α-tocopherol content of Chinese leymus. The thiamin, riboflavin, niacin and pantothenic acid levels in the LP-treated silage were significantly (p<0.05) lower than those in the untreated silage for the alfalfa and Chinese leymus. The α-tocopherol content in the LP-treated alfalfa silage was significantly (p<0.05) higher than that in the untreated alfalfa silage. There was no significant (p>0.05) difference in pyridoxine content between the untreated and LP-treated silages for both forages. Conclusion: With or without LP inoculation, the levels of the five B-group vitamins (thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, and pyridoxine) in alfalfa and Chinese leymus decreased after 45 days of ensiling, while the α-tocopherol content of Chinese leymus increased. The LP inoculant improved the fermentation quality of both the alfalfa and Chinese leymus silages but increased the thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, and pantothenic acid loss in the two forages after fermentation.

        In vitro immunoregulatory role of recombinant Ancylostoma ceylanicum calreticulin

        Ancylostoma ceylanicum is a zoonotic soil-derived nematode that parasitizes the intestines of humans and animals (dogs and cats), leading to malnutrition and iron-deficiencyanemia. Helminth parasites secrete calreticulin (CRT), which regulates or blocks thehost’s immune response. However, no data on A. ceylanicum calreticulin (Ace-CRT) areavailable. We investigated the biological function of recombinant Ace-CRT (rAce-CRT). rAce-CRT showed reliable antigenicity and stimulated the proliferation of mouse splenocytes and canine peripheral blood mononuclear cells. Quantitative reverse-transcriptionPCR assays revealed that rAce-CRT primarily promoted the expression of T helper 2 cytokines, particularly IL-13, in canine peripheral blood lymphocytes. rAce-CRT inhibitedcomplement-mediated sheep erythrocyte hemolysis in vitro. Our findings indicate thatAce-CRT plays an immunomodulatory role and may be a promising candidate moleculefor a hookworm vaccine.

        The Novel Efficient Dual-field FIPS Modular Multiplication

        The modular multiplication is the key module of public-key cryptosystems such as RSA (Rivest-Shamir-Adleman) and ECC (Elliptic Curve Cryptography). However, the efficiency of the modular multiplication, especially the modular square, is very low. In order to reduce their operation cycles and power consumption, and improve the efficiency of the public-key cryptosystems, a dual-field efficient FIPS (Finely Integrated Product Scanning) modular multiplication algorithm is proposed. The algorithm makes a full use of the correlation of the data in the case of equal operands so as to avoid some redundant operations. The experimental results show that the operation speed of the modular square is increased by 23.8% compared to the traditional algorithm after the multiplication and addition operations are reduced about (s<sup>2</sup>-s)/2, and the read operations are reduced about s<sup>2</sup>-s, where s=n/32 for n-bit operands. In addition, since the algorithm supports the length scalable and dual-field modular multiplication, distinct applications focused on performance or cost could be satisfied by adjusting the relevant parameters.
