콜롬비아 소가모스 지역에서 미세먼지 감축 시나리오를 TAPM 모델을 활용하여 도출하고 평가하였다. 시나리오 1의 제철소 및 금속 등 중공업 오염원을 대상으로 미세먼지 방지 기술을 이용하여 배출량을 80% 감축하는 방안에서는 도시 중심 평균 농도는 6.5 μg m-3로 1.5 % 감소하였고, 모델영역에서 최고 평균농도는 387 μg m-3 로 변동 없었다. 시나리오 2의 벽돌 및 석회공장 등을 대상으로 연료를 석탄에서 코크스로 교체하여 90 % 감축하는 방안에서는 도시 중심 평균 농도는 4.5 μg m-3로 31.8%, 모델영역에서 최고 평균농도는 111 μg m-3 로 71.6 % 감소하였다. 시나리오 1과 시나리오 2를 결합한 시나리오 3에서는 도시 중심에서 평균 농도는 4.3 μg m-3로 34.8 %, 모델영역에서 최고 평균농도는 110 μg m-3 로 71.7 % 감소하였다. 소가모스 지역에서 대기환경을 개선하는 로드맵 수립에는 수공업에서 주로 사용되는 석탄 연료를 청정연료인 코크스로 교체하는 방안이 최우선으로 고려되어야 하겠다. 이후 미세먼지 방지 시설을 굴뚝에 설치하는 방안도 차선책으로 고려하여 환경과 경제가 선 순환하는 녹색성장관점에서 장기적인 미세먼지 개선 마스터 플랜이 수립되어야 하겠다. Reduction scenarios for PM10 concentration in Sogamoso, Colombia were analyzed using the TAPM( The Air Pollution Model). The average concentration of PM10 in the downtown area was 6.5 μg m-3, a reduction of 1.5 %. The maximum average concentration in the model domain was 387 μg m-3 without any reduction in scenarios 1 which the PM10 emissions from heavy industries such as iron and metal was reduced by 80 % using the prevention technology. In scenario 2 which the PM10 emissions from the brick and lime industries was reduced by 90 % substituting coke (a cleaner fuel) for coal, the average concentration of PM10 in the downtown area was 4.5 μg m-3, a reduction of 31.8 % , the maximum average concentration in the model domain was 111 μg m-3 , a reduction of 71.6 %. In scenario 3 which the scenarios 1 and 2 were combined, the average concentration of PM10 in the downtown area was 4.3 μg m-3, a reduction of 34.8 % and the maximum average concentration was 110 μg m-3, a reduction of 71.7 %. To put forward a road map for the reduction of PM10 in the Sogamos region, substituting coke for coal in manual industries should have priority over reduction policies. Also, it is highly recommended that a longterm master plan for reducing PM10 concentrations should be established with a focus on environmentally-friendly development and future green growth policy with a win-win relationship between economy and environment.

This study, changes in raw water quality is to indicate on the efficiency of ozone treatment of each pollutant as compared to derive the appropriate operating measures. Most scyphomedusae jellyfishes recorded in Korean waters are temperate and subtropical species. In the present study, two cold-water jellyfishes from Korean waters are first described. Scyphomedusae were collected from the coasts of Gangneung and Ulsan of the East Sea, and Boryeong, and the eastern area of the Yellow Sea from June 2006 to May 2015. Scyphomedusae collected in Ulsan and Gangneung were identified morphologically as Aurelia limbata Brandt, 1835. Their umbrella was 250-500 mm in width and 30-50 mm in height; the exumbrella was white and the subumbrella was dark brown in color. The vascular system was complex with anastomosed branches. Individuals of this species lived at about 6.6-9.9°C and 30-50 m depth in Korean waters. Scyphomedusae collected from the center of the Yellow Sea and from Boryeong were identified as Parumbrosa polylobata Kishinouye, 1910. Their umbrella was disc-shaped, 80-200 mm in width and 20-40 mm in height. Its milky white gonads could be seen through the transparent exumbrella. The stomach cavity was round and flat with four interradial cavities connected by subgenital cavities, and the four oral arms were bifurcated and spear-head shaped. Individuals were found at about 6.4-10.0°C and 40-90 m depth in Korean waters. The identities of both species were confirmed by molecular analysis using nuclear ribosomal DNA sequences.
Effects of Renaming Schizophrenia in Korea: from “Split-Mind Disorder” to “Attunement Disorder”

ObjectiveaaKorean Neuropsychiatric Association changed the Korean name of schizophrenia from ‘Split-mind Disorder’ to ‘Attunement Disorder’ in 2012. This study assessed attitudes towards the renaming of schizophrenia among mental health practitioners (n=440), patients with schizophrenia and their guardians (n=396), and the university students (n=140) using self-administered questionnaires. MethodsaaThe questionnaire included items related to participants’ perception of the renaming of the disease, the nature of informing about the disease to confirm the effect of the name change. ResultsaaIt was confirmed the notification rate of disease name by mental health practitioners was increased significantly after the renaming. Among patients and their guardians, 24.9% and 15.0%, respectively, perceived their own or the family member’s illness as ‘attunement disorder’. ConclusionaaPatients and their guardians continue to display a low awareness about the name of the disease as ‘attunement disorder.’ However, mental health practitioners were found to be able to easily use the name ‘attunement disorder’ as a result of the increased notification rate of the new disease name.
ISFET Glucose and Sucrose Sensors by Using Platinum Electrode and Photo-crosslinkable Polymers

The ISFET glucose and sucrose sensors containing platinum electrode and photopolymeric enzyme membrane were fabricated. The platinum working electrode was used for the electrolysis of hydrogen peroxide, which was the other product of the enzyme reaction, to improve sensing characteristics of the sensors. In order to improve response time, photo-crosslinkable polymer(PVA-SbQ) was used. The characteristics of glucose and sucrose sensors were investgated according to platinum electrode area. The response time was about 2-3 minutes and determinations of glucose and sucrose in the range of about 30-300mg/dl could be possible.
In vitro Propagation of Sundew, Drosera rotundifolia L., by Leaf Culture

끈끈이주걱의 器內增殖 방법을 開發하기위하여 끈끈이주걱의 葉을 호르몬이 첨가되지 않은 MS기본배지 그리고 BA 0.5㎎/l 와 NAA 0.05㎎/l 가 混合으로 첨가된 기본MS, 1/3 MS, 1/6 MS 그리고 1/9 MS 배지에 각각 치상하였다. 배양 4-5주 후 치상 葉으로부터 캘러스 발생없이 줄기가 직접 발생하였다. 1/3 MS 와 1/6 MS에 치상된 모든 葉에서는 줄기가 생산되었는데 1/3 MS에서 더 많이 생산되었고 1/9 MS에서는 약 50%, MS기본배지에서는 약 30%의 줄기가 생산되었다. 줄기는 2-3개월마다 호르몬이 없는 1/3 MS로 繼代培養 하였다. 繼代培養한 모든 줄기는 배양 4-5주후 충실한 根系를 확립하였다. 소식물체는 뿌리 발달후 배양으로부터 분리되어 이끼 單用으로 플라스틱 포트에 심었다. 하나의 소식물체를 2-3개월마다 繼代培養 하면 1년동안 수백개 혹은 수천개의 苗를 얻을 수 있을 것이다. In order to investigate the in vitro propagation standard of sundew, Drosera rotundifolia L., whole leaves were plated on MS, 1/3 MS, 1/6 MS, and 1/9 MS medium respectively without hormone and containing 0.5㎎/l BA and 0.05mg/l NAA. After 4-5 weeks in culture, shoots were visible on leaf explants, apparently forming directly on leaf surfaces without callussing. All leaf explants plated on 1/3 MS and 1/6 MS produced shoots, but more shoots were produced on 1/3 MS. Shoots were produced on 50% and 30% of the explants on 1/9 MS and MS basal medium, respectively. Shoots were subcultured on 1/3 MS without hormones every 2-3 months. All subcultured shoots produced extensive root systems after 4 to 5 weeks in culture. Plantlets were removed from culture following root development and planted in plastic pots filled with pure moss. If one plantlet were subcultured every 2-3 months, we could get hundreds or even a few thousands of these valuable plants in a year.

Thermopiezoelectric method, using poly silicon heater and a piezoelectric sensor, was proposed for writing and reading in a probe based data storage system. Resistively heated tip writes data bits while scanning over a polymer media and piezoelectric sensor reads data bits from the self-generated charges induced by the deflection of the cantilever. 34${\times}$34 array of thermopiezoelectric nitride cantilevers were fabricated by a single step wafer level transfer method. We analyzed the noise level of the charge amplifier and measured the noise signal. With the sensor and the charge amplifier 20mn of deflection could be detected at a frequency of 10KHz. Reading signal was obtained from the cantilever array and the sensitivity was calculated.
Pulmonary Cryptococcosis That Mimicked Rheumatoid Nodule in Rheumatoid Arthritis Lesion

Recently, the incidence of pulmonary cryptococcosis is gradually increasing in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients. Pulmonary rheumatoid nodules (PRN) are rare manifestations of RA. Eighteen months ago, a 65-year old woman was admitted to hospital due to multiple nodules ( $2.5{\times}2.1{\times}2cm$) with cavitations in the right lower lobe. She was diagnosed with RA three year ago. She had been taking methotrexate, leflunomide, and triamcinolone. A video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery biopsy was performed and PRN was diagnosed. However, a newly growing huge opacity with cavitation was detected in the same site. Pulmonary cryptococcal infection was diagnosed through a transthoracic computed tomograpy guided needle biopsy. Cryptococcus antigen was detected in serum but not in cerebrospinal fluid. The patient was treated with oral fluconazole which resulted clinical improvement and regression of the nodule on a series of radiography. Herein, we report the case of pulmonary cryptococcosis occurring in the same location as that of the PRN.
