양방향 인재매칭을 위한 BERT 기반의 전이학습 모델

        오소진(Sojin Oh),장문경(Moonkyoung Jang),송희석(Hee Seok Song) 한국데이타베이스학회 2021 Journal of information technology applications & m Vol.28 No.4

While youth unemployment has recorded the lowest level since the global COVID-19 pandemic, SMEs(small and medium sized enterprises) are still struggling to fill vacancies. It is difficult for SMEs to find good candidates as well as for job seekers to find appropriate job offers due to information mismatch. To overcome information mismatch, this study proposes the fine-turning model for bidirectional HR matching based on a pre-learning language model called BERT(Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers). The proposed model is capable to recommend job openings suitable for the applicant, or applicants appropriate for the job through sufficient pre-learning of terms including technical jargons. The results of the experiment demonstrate the superior performance of our model in terms of precision, recall, and f1-score compared to the existing content-based metric learning model. This study provides insights for developing practical models for job recommendations and offers suggestions for future research.

      • Fluorescent Polymer Nanoparticle for Selective Sensing of Intracellular Hydrogen Peroxide

        Oh, Wan-Kyu,Jeong, Yoon Seon,Kim, Sojin,Jang, Jyongsik American Chemical Society 2012 ACS NANO Vol.6 No.10

<P>Fluorescent boronate-modified polyacrylonitrile (BPAN) nanoparticles of 50 nm diameter were fabricated for use as a selective H2O2 sensor. The fluorescence intensity changed and an emission peak shifted when BPAN nanoparticles selectively interacted with H2O2, relative to other reactive oxygen species (ROS). The BPAN nanoparticles undergo photoinduced electron transfer (PET) between a Schiff base moiety and boronate, which enhances the fluorescence and makes the nanoparticles suitable for selective ROS recognition. We demonstrate the use of these nanoparticles as a detector of endogenous H2O2 produced in living cells. The representative features of the fluorescent BPAN nanoparticles that make them particularly attractive for H2O2 and ROS detection are the following: they are easily synthesized as PET sensors; they exhibit a characteristic emission peak and peak shift that distinguishes reaction with H2O2 from other ROS; and compared to organic compounds, the sensing moiety on BPAN polymer nanoparticles is more thermally stable and has superior mechanical properties, enabling their use in various biomedical applications.</P><P><B>Graphic Abstract</B> <IMG SRC='http://pubs.acs.org/appl/literatum/publisher/achs/journals/content/ancac3/2012/ancac3.2012.6.issue-10/nn204899m/production/images/medium/nn-2011-04899m_0010.gif'></P><P><A href='http://pubs.acs.org/doi/suppl/10.1021/nn204899m'>ACS Electronic Supporting Info</A></P>

Evaluation of Radiographic Positioning Techniques Used in Local Hospitals after Teleradiology Consultation

        Sojin Kim,Miju Oh,Yooyoung Lee,Minju Lee,Jiyoung Ban,Uhjin Kim,Jiwoon Park,Jaepung Han,장동우 한국임상수의학회 2022 한국임상수의학회지 Vol.39 No.6

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the radiographic position- ing techniques used in local animal hospitals, identify the most common posi- tioning problem, and determine whether there were changes after teleradiology consultations. From September 2016 to April 2021, 15 local animal hospitals that requested radiographic interpretation more than 10 times and for more than six cases of thoracic radiographs were selected. Six sets of two-views of (lateral and ventrodorsal [VD] or dorsoventral [DV] views) digital thoracic radiographs from six dogs per hospital were evaluated in four categories. For the lateral view, radiographic technique scores used in ten local animal hospitals improved, one remained the same, and four became worse. For the VD/DV view, the score for eleven hospitals improved and worsened for four. The most common problem was rotation (57/90) for the lateral view, followed by an inappropriate field of view (59/90), and incorrect beam center (71/90). For the VD/DV view, an inappro- priate field of view (54/90) was the most common problem, followed by asym- metry (63/90), and incorrect beam center (73/90). Every factor, except rotation in the lateral view, improved after obtaining technical consultation; however, the degrees of improvement were not remarkable. There was no significant correla- tion between the number of requests and the degree of improvement. Accord- ing to the results, the radiographic technique used in local animal hospitals was improved by technical advice on teleradiology. These changes make it possible to provide accurate diagnoses of the requested images. There are some limita- tions regarding the indicators of evaluation and the number of cases; therefore, further studies that use detailed indicators in large cohort group are needed. In addition, an effective method of teaching should be developed to improve ra- diographic techniques in local animal hospitals.

      • Shape-Dependent Cytotoxicity and Proinflammatory Response of Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) Nanomaterials

        Oh, Wan-Kyu,Kim, Sojin,Yoon, Hyeonseok,Jang, Jyongsik WILEY-VCH Verlag 2010 Small Vol.6 No.7

<P>Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDT) is recognized as one of the most promising conducting polymers for future applications in the fields of electronics, optics, energy storage/conversion, and biomedical science. The toxicity of PEDT could be considered to affect the potential for its widespread application. Herein, the cytotoxicity and proinflammatory response of PEDT nanomaterials of three different shapes toward human lung fibroblast (IMR90) and mouse alveolar macrophage (J774A.1) cells are investigated. The shape-dependent toxicity of the PEDT nanomaterials is evaluated by examining cell morphological change, cytotoxicity, apoptosis/necrosis, oxidative stress, and immune response. The cytotoxicity and apoptosis of the nanomaterials increase with their decreasing aspect ratio in both cell lines. The formation of reactive oxygen species in cells treated with PEDT nanomaterials is dependent on the shape and concentration of the nanomaterial. Proinflammatory cytokines, such as interleukin-1, interleukin-6, and tumor necrosis factor α from macrophages, are induced by PEDT nanomaterial-treated cells.</P> <B>Graphic Abstract</B> <P>The cytotoxicity and immune response of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDT) nanomaterials of three different shapes are evaluated toward human lung fibroblast and mouse alveolar macrophage cells. • Cellular Uptake, Cytotoxicity, and Innate Immune Response of Silica−Titania Hollow Nanoparticles Based on Size and Surface Functionality

        Oh, Wan-Kyu,Kim, Sojin,Choi, Moonjung,Kim, Chanhoi,Jeong, Yoon Seon,Cho, Bo-Ram,Hahn, Ji-Sook,Jang, Jyongsik American Chemical Society 2010 ACS NANO Vol.4 No.9

<P>Silica−titania hollow nanoparticles (HNPs) with uniform diameters of 25, 50, 75, 100, and 125 nm were fabricated by dissolution and redeposition method in order to evaluate size dependent cellular response. Surface-modified HNPs with cationic, anionic, and neutral functional group were prepared by silane treatment. We systematically investigated cellular internalization, toxicity, and innate immune response of HNPs in human breast cancer (SK-BR-3) and mouse alveolar macrophage (J774A.1) cells. Size- and surface functionality-dependent cellular uptake of HNPs was investigated by fluorescence labeling (fluorescein isothiocyanate), inductively coupled plasma-emission spectroscopy, and ultrastructural resolution using transmission electron microscopy. Viability, reactive oxygen species, and apoptosis/necrosis of HNP-treated J774A.1 revealed the size-dependent phenomenon. Innate immune response of HNP-treated macrophages was measured by three cytokines such as interleukin-1, interleukin-6, and tumor necrosis factor α. Among the HNPs of different sizes, 50-nm HNPs demonstrated the highest toxic influence on macrophages. Among the HNPs with surface functionalities, cationic HNPs demonstrated the most toxic effect on J774A.1 and the highest uptake efficiency. The toxicity results of HNP-treated macrophages were consistent with the cellular internalization efficiency. These findings provide size- and surface functionality-dependent nanotoxicity and uptake of HNPs, and lead to HNPs for bioapplications such as drug delivery and imaging probe.</P><P><B>Graphic Abstract</B> <IMG SRC='http://pubs.acs.org/appl/literatum/publisher/achs/journals/content/ancac3/2010/ancac3.2010.4.issue-9/nn100561e/production/images/medium/nn-2010-00561e_0015.gif'></P><P><A href='http://pubs.acs.org/doi/suppl/10.1021/nn100561e'>ACS Electronic Supporting Info</A></P>

자기선물 상황과 귀인차원이 쾌락적 제품의 선택에 미치는 영향

        박소진(SoJin Park),오창규(ChangGyu Oh) 한국인터넷전자상거래학회 2020 인터넷전자상거래연구 Vol.20 No.1

People reward themselves with self-gifting when they succeed in achieving their goals or, in contrast, comfort themselves with self-gifting when they fail in achieving their goals. This study investigates the effect of self-gifting context and the dimension of attribution on the choice of hedonic products. To achieve the research goals we select four product categories that people frequently purchase when self-gifting and makes four choice sets that consist of hedonic option and utilitarian option. We assume that the choice share of hedonic products will increase in success situation rather than in failure situation. We also suppose the interaction effect between self-gifting situation and the dimension of attribution. The scenario-based experiment results show that success situation in which people give gifts to themselves as rewards after succeeding in test has higher choice share rate of hedonic products than failure situation in which people give gifts to themselves for comfort after failing in test. In addition, research shows that the interaction effect between self-gifting situation and the dimension of attribution is significant. While the choice share rate of hedonic products increases considerably in success situation caused by people"s own effort, it deceases significantly in failure situation caused by their lack of effort (internal attribution). On the other hand, when the result is due to extrinsic circumstance (external attribution), success or failure situation has little influence on the choice share rate of hedonic products.

      • Fabrication of Barium- and Strontium-Doped Silica/Titania Hollow Nanoparticles and Their Synergetic Effects on Promoting Neuronal Differentiation by Activating ERK and p38 Pathways

        Kim, Sojin,Jang, Yoonsun,Oh, Wan-Kyu,Kim, Chanhoi,Jang, Jyongsik Wiley (John WileySons) 2014 Advanced Healthcare Materials Vol.3 No.7

<P>Pristine, barium-doped, and strontium-doped hollow nanoparticles (p-HNPs, Ba-HNP, and Sr-HNP; HNPs) are prepared by sonication-mediated etching and redeposition (SMER) method and alkali-earth-metal hydroxide solution treatment. The HNPs are investigated to facilitate synergetic neuronal differentiation through alkali-earth-metal doping and in conjunction with nerve growth factor (NGF). PC12 cells are used as model cells for neuronal differentiation. The differentiation efficiency is improved in the presence of the HNPs+NGF, and the neurite length is in the order of Sr-HNP+NGF > Ba-HNP+NGF > p-HNP+NGF > NGF. Silica/titania have increasing effect on both differentiation efficiency and neurite length, and doped barium/strontium influences additional elongation of the average neurite length. Take advantage of hollow structure, NGF is encapsulated into HNPs, and they are further applied for directly inducing differentiation. The maximum differentiation efficiency is 67% in presence of the NGF-encapsulated Sr-HNP, which was 1.3 times higher than previous research. Furthermore, the neurite length is also 2.7 times higher than MnO2 decorated poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) nanoellipsoids. Ba- and Sr-HNP may offer a possibility for novel application of metal-hybrid nanomaterials for cell differentiation, and can be expanded to other cellular applications.</P>

      • A critical role for the histidine residues in the catalytic function of acyl-CoA:cholesterol acyltransferase catalysis: Evidence for catalytic difference between ACAT1 and ACAT2

        An, Sojin,Cho, Kyung-Hyun,Lee, Woo Song,Lee, Jie-Oh,Paik, Young-Ki,Jeong, Tae-Sook Elsevier 2006 FEBS letters Vol.580 No.11

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>To investigate a role for histidine residues in the expression of normal acyl-CoA:cholesterol acyltransferase (ACAT) activity, the histidine residues located at five different positions in two isoenzymes were substituted by alanine, based on the sequence homology between ACAT1 and ACAT2. Among the 10 mutants generated by baculovirus expression technology, H386A–ACAT1, H460A–ACAT1, H360A–ACAT2, and H399A–ACAT2 lost their enzymatic activity completely. A reduction in catalytic activity is unlikely to result from structural changes in the substrate-binding pocket, because their substrate-binding affinities were normal. However, the enzymatic activity of H386A–ACAT1 was restored to <37% of the level of the wild-type activity when cholesterol was replaced by 25-hydroxycholesterol as substrate. H527A–ACAT1 and H501A–ACAT2, termed carboxyl end mutants, exhibit activities of ∼96% and ∼75% of that of the wild-type. Interestingly, H425A–ACAT1 showed 59% of the wild-type activity, in contrast to its equivalent mutant, H399A-ACAT2. These results demonstrate that the histidine residues located at the active site are very crucial both for the catalytic activity of the enzyme and for distinguishing ACAT1 from ACAT2 with respect to enzyme catalysis and substrate specificity.</P>

      • Allopregnanolone Effects on Transmission in the Brain Stem Solitary Tract Nucleus (NTS)

        Kim, Sojin,Kim, Sung-Moon,Oh, Bermseok,Tak, Jihoon,Yang, Eunhee,Jin, Young-Ho Elsevier 2018 NEUROSCIENCE Vol.379 No.-

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>During pregnancy, the progesterone metabolite, allopregnanolone (ALLO), becomes elevated and has been associated with altered levels within the CNS and resulting changes in GABAA receptor function. Pregnant animals poorly compensate reflexes for a decrease in blood pressure during hemorrhage. Previous works suggested that ALLO decreases baroreflex responses by central actions, however, the underlying mechanisms are poorly understood. In this study, we tested ALLO actions on visceral afferent synaptic transmission at second-order neurons within medial portions of the nucleus tractus solitarius (NTS) using hindbrain slices from non-pregnant female rats. Solitary tract (ST) stimulation-evoked excitatory postsynaptic currents (ST-eEPSCs) in NTS neurons directly connected to vagal afferents within the ST. ST-eEPSCs were functionally identified as monosynaptic by the latency characteristics (low jitter = standard deviation of latency, ≤200 μs) to ST stimulation. Such second-order neurons all displayed spontaneous inhibitory postsynaptic currents (sIPSCs), and low micromolar concentrations of ALLO increased frequency and decay time. At submicromolar concentrations, ALLO induced a tonic, GABAergic inhibitory current and suppressed ST-eEPSCs’ amplitude. While GABAA receptor antagonist, bicuculline, blocked all ALLO effects, gabazine only blocked sIPSC actions. In current-clamp mode, ALLO perfusion increased failure of ST stimulation to trigger action potentials in most neurons. Thus, our results indicate that ALLO acts to suppress visceral afferent ST synaptic transmission at first synapses by activating pharmacologically distinct GABAA subtypes at different concentration ranges. This ALLO-mediated attenuated visceral afferent signal integration in NTS may underlie reflex changes in blood pressure during gestation.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Allopregnanolone (ALLO) effects on visceral afferent synaptic transmission were tested in female rat hindbrain slices. </LI> <LI> Micromolar concentrations of ALLO increased frequency and decay time of spontaneous inhibitory postsynaptic currents. </LI> <LI> Submicromolar concentrations of ALLO induced extrasynaptic GABAergic inhibitory tonic current. </LI> <LI> ALLO suppressed solitary tract stimulation-evoked excitatory postsynaptic current amplitude in the low nanomolar range. </LI> <LI> ALLO administration increased failure of solitary tract stimulation to trigger action potentials in most neurons. </LI> </UL> </P>
