This study was aimed to suggest to better treatment method of jaw cyst that the maximum diameter was wider than 3cm, using different treatment and clinical and radiographic result. We divided the 60 patients into three groups, group A(20 patients) were treated with cyst enucleation and Decalcified Freeze-Dried Allogeneic Bone(DFDB) graft, group B(20 patients) were treated with cyst enucleation and autogenous bone graft, group C(20 patients) were treated with only cyst enucleation. Each group was evaluated with panramic radiograph and clinical sign & symptom at pre-op and post-op(immediate, 6, 12, 24, 36 month). Bone density was evaluated with disital densitometer. The result was as follows : 1. Post-Op infection was higher in group C(4 pts.) than in group A(1 pt.) and B(1 pt.) 2. Post-Op gingival recession was higher in group C(3 Pts.) than in group A(1 pt.) and B(1 pt.) 3. Anatomic distortion was higher in group C(3 Pt.) than in group A(1 Pt.), and B(1 pt.) 4. reoperation was done in two patients who were in group C 5. There were donor site morbidity in two patients 6. there was no significant difference between group A and B in their bony density in their follow up period(p>0.05). 7. There were significant differences between group A, B and group C in their bony density until post-op 24 months but a little differences at post-op 36 months(P<0.01)

Kinematic and kinetic analysis using 3D Motion Capture system are common, yet there is little in the literature that discuss the relationship and coactivity between muscles during the golf swing. The purpose of this study was to describe the relationship between the employed 16 muscles during golf swing. We could observe 3 muscle patterns such as 'Line' shape, 'L' shape, and 'Loop' shape for the golf swing activity. The 'Line' shape indicates that two muscles act almost perfectly in phase, and the 'L' shape represents that two muscles act in a reciprocating manner(When one is active, the other is quiescent and vice versa). And the 'Loop' shape indicates that two muscles act sequently(After one is active, the other act). In these results, we knew the muscle patterns during golf swing is similar to the patterns during gait. And we presented it was possible to show the consistence of golf swing through the frequency analysis of muscle patterns. We believe that the results potentially useful for the golf players and coaches to analyze their performance.
Reality Check: Rethinking the Global Software Piracy Problem

This study examines the complex dynamics of the international software piracy problem by focusing on the size of revenue losses made from pirated software. Although a considerable number of cross-national studies have focused on software piracy, there is a widespread but incorrect perception in the policy and academic landscape that ineffective copyright protection of computer software is prevalent mostly in less developed countries with low-income, ineffective legal systems and collectivist culture. By using the estimated value of revenues lost to software piracy as an alternative indicator, this study empirically disproves the conventional understanding of the piracy problem. Our empirical investigation of the impact of various national factors on the per capita value of pirated software confirmed that the present piracy phenomenon in the international market is complex and multi-faceted, involving multiple factors within a nation`s economic, technological and industry-specific capabilities.
Three‑phase 11 kW on‑board charger with single‑phase reverse function

This paper presents an 11 kW bidirectional on-board charger (OBC) design method with a single-phase discharge mode. The proposed OBC comprises an inverter, bidirectional LLC resonant converter, and buck converter. Different from the conventional bidirectional CLLLC resonant converter, power is controlled using a buck converter during reverse operation; therefore, considering the reverse gain when designing the LLC resonant converter is unnecessary. In addition, because the proposed method is designed by optimizing the forward direction, it can freely select a switching frequency, and the size of the magnetic components can be reduced, improving the power density. The validity of the proposed circuit is verified via a prototype OBC, with a grid voltage of 3 phase 380 VAC and a battery voltage of 270–464 V.

Prediction of compressive strength of concrete by Maturity Method is applied in construction site. However, due to the use of wired type high-priced equipment, economic efficiency and workability are falling. In this study, a newly developed concrete embedded wireless sensor is used to perform a mock-up test. Next, the concrete compressive strength of the Maturity Method is predicted using Saul and Plowman's function as measured temperature data. The predicted concrete strength at the beginning of the age was the actual strength and stiffness, but the error rate was less than 1% at 28th day.

<P>Interleukin (IL)-33 is a recently described pro-inflammatory cytokine. Here we demonstrate IL-33 as a regulator of functional osteoclasts (OCs) from human CD14(+) monocytes. IL-33 stimulates formation of tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP)(+) multinuclear OCs from monocytes. This action was suppressed by anti-ST2 antibody, suggesting that IL-33 acts through its receptor ST2, but not by the receptor activator of NF-κB ligand (RANKL) decoy, osteoprotegerin, or anti-RANKL antibody. IL-33 stimulated activating phosphorylations of signaling molecules in monocytes that are critical for OC development. These included Syk, phospholipase Cγ2, Gab2, MAP kinases, TAK-1, and NF-κB. IL-33 also enhanced expression of OC differentiation factors including TNF-α receptor-associated factor 6 (TRAF6), nuclear factor of activated T cells cytoplasmic 1, c-Fos, c-Src, cathepsin K, and calcitonin receptor. IL-33 eventually induced bone resorption. This study suggests that the osteoclastogenic property of IL-33 is mediated through TRAF6 as well as the immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motif-dependent Syk/PLCγ pathway in human CD14(+) monocytes.</P>

Currently, the most promising fuel candidate for use in sodium fast reactors (SFRs) is metallic fuel, which is produced by a modified casting method in which the metallic fuel material is sequentially melted in an inert atmosphere to prevent volatilization, followed by melting in a graphite crucible, and then injection casting in a quartz (SiO2) mold to produce metallic fuel slugs. In previous studies, U-Zr metallic fuel slugs have been cast using Y2O3 reaction prevent coatings. However, U-Zr alloy-based metallic fuel slugs containing highly reactive rare earth (RE) elements are highly reactive with Y2O3-coated quartz (SiO2) molds and form a significant thickness of surface reaction layer on the surface of the metallic fuel slug. Cast parts that have reacted with nuclear fuel materials become radioactive waste. To decrease amount of radioactive waste, advanced reaction prevent material was developed. Each RE (Nd, Ce, Ln, Pr) element was placed on the reaction prevent material and thermal cycling experiments were carried out. In casting experiments with U-10wt% Zr, it was reported that Y2O3 layer has a high reaction prevent performance. Therefore, the reaction layer properties for RE elements with higher reactivity than uranium elements were evaluated. To investigate the reaction layer between RE and NdYO3, the reaction composition and phase properties as a function of RE content and location were investigated using SEM, EDS, and XRD. The results showed that NdYO3 ceramics had better antireaction performance than Y2O3.
