Park, Sehwan,Park, Jongkyu The International Promotion Agency of Culture Tech 2013 International Journal of Advanced Culture Technolo Vol.1 No.1
The basic principle of the product manufacturing technology using the 3D printing technique materializes the material including the high molecular substance or plastic and metallic dust, and etc. the product into the laminate additive manufacturing according to the design diagram gradually. It is applied to the various industrial field including the field of food division, field of home appliances, field of medicine, field of mechanical department and construction, etc.. The global development case of 3D printing technique is the next. This study described global technology and market trends. Afterward, 3D printing technique manages the important role when it exceeds the product manufacturing view just and is grafted with the various technology including the biotechnology, nanotechnology, and etc. and it improves the quality of the human life.
Mass Spectrometric Analysis of Eight Common Chemical Explosives Using Ion Trap Mass Spectrometer
Sehwan Park,Jihyeon Lee,조수경,Eun Mee Goh,이성만,고성석,김정권 대한화학회 2013 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.34 No.12
Eight representative explosives (ammonium perchlorate (AP), ammonium nitrate (AN), trinitrotoluene (TNT), 2,4-dinitrotoluene (DNT), cyclonite (RDX), cyclotetramethylenetetranitramine (HMX), pentaerythritol tetranitrate (PETN), and hexanitrostilbene (HNS)) were comprehensively analyzed with an ion trap mass spectrometer in negative ion mode using direct infusion electrospray ionization. MS/MS experiments were performed to generate fragment ions from the major parent ion of each explosive. Explosives in salt forms such as AP or AN provided cluster parent ions with their own anions. Explosives with an aromatic ring were observed as either [M–H]– for TNT and DNT or [M]•– for HNS, while explosives without an aromatic ring such as RDX, HMX, and PETN were detected as an adduct ion with a formate anion, i.e., [M+HCOO]–. These findings provide a guideline for the rapid and accurate detection of explosives once portable MS instruments become more readily available.
Development of a minipig physical phantom from CT data
Park, Sooyeun,Lee, Pilsoo,Ha, Wi-Ho,Kim, Han Sung,Park, Byeong Ryong,Kim, Jae ,Seok,Shim, Sehwan,Park, Sunhoo,Kim, Young-su,Kim, Chan Hyeong,Jin, Young-Woo JAPAN RADIATION RESEACH SOCIETY 2017 JOURNAL OF RADIATION RESEARCH Vol.58 No.5
<P><B>ABSTRACT</B></P><P>Quantification of pathological progression of radiation-induced injury is essential in development of treatment methods, and a proper animal model is necessary for relevant radiological and medical studies. A minipig is a current animal model selected because of its similarities to humans in anatomy and pathology. In the present study, a minipig physical phantom was developed using computed tomography (CT) data. For dosimetry purposes, the minipig physical phantom was constructed on a slice-by-slice basis, with an array of holes to accommodate dosimeters. The phantom is constituted of three major organs, i.e. bone, lung, and remaining soft tissue, and the organs are clearly distinguishable on each 20-mm-thick axial slice. The quality of the tissue-equivalent (TE) substitutes was analyzed in terms of the atomic compositions and Hounsfield units (HUs). The density (in g/cm3) and effective atomic number of TE substitutes for the bone, lung, and soft tissue are 1.4 and 7.9, 0.5 and 10.0, and 1.0 and 5.9, respectively. Although the TE substitutes have slightly different physical properties, we think the phantom is acceptable because the HU values of the TE substitutes lie in the HU range of real tissues.</P>

These findings provide a guideline for the rapid and accurate detection of explosives once portable MS instruments become more readily available.

Active Mechanical Vibration Control of Rotary Compressors for Air-conditioning Systems
Park, Cheon-Su,Kim, SeHwan,Park, Gwi-Geun,Seok, Jul-Ki The Korean Institute of Power Electronics 2012 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.12 No.6
Recent power electronics and variable-frequency motor drive technologies have been applied to air conditioners to improve efficiency and power density. However, the mechanical vibrations and acoustic noise resulting from the compressor still remain as a serious problem. This paper presents the development and implementation of an online disturbance state-filter for the suppression of multiple unknown and time-varying vibrations of air conditioning systems. The proposed design has a form of the state-filter based on a Luenburger-style closed-loop speed observer. An active vibration decoupling strategy with an estimated disturbance is provided, which manipulates a motor torque command. Since the proposed estimation does not require any additional transducers or hardware for obtaining real-time information upon disturbances, it is suitable for retrofitting industrial air conditioners.
