        The objective of this research is to present client's requirements definition model that translates requirement information provided by client into design information to fully grasp client's requirements in pre-design phase and to prepare system that reflects it in the design. Suggesting classification system for requirement information grasped in the pre-design phase and dividing process defined by requirement into requirements elicitation, requirements analysis and requirements translation. Moreover, prototype system was embodied as a method to efficiently apply the suggested model.

        For clinical success of light polymerized composite resin, it needs sufficient application of light intensity and curing time. Composite resin can be polymerized by a direct light projected on the surface of resin inside the real cavity, but it can also be polymerized by projecting light indirectly through enamel or dentin. This study measured the amount of light energy that was projected on a tooth material and analyzed the degree of light polymerized by measuring the surface hardness. Optilux 501 (Demetron, USA), which uses a halogen light source, was used as a light polymerizing unit. For polymerizing light guide, two types were used for this study: a 12 mm diameter light guide with 840mW/㎠ light intensity and a turbo light guide with 1100mW/㎠. Slices of tooth disc, which include enamel and dentin, were prepared as tooth materials. The size of the disc was 0.7 × 0.7㎝, and the thickness was 1 mm and 2 mm. Light polymerized composite resin with A1 color was filled in a mold of 5 mm in diameter and 2 mm in thickness, and it was polymerized by light according to the conditions specified for each group. Specimens were divided into three groups; group 1 was investigated through a tooth material of 1mm thickness, group 2 through a tooth material of 2 mm thickness, and control group through a transparent glass slab of 1 mm thickness. Each group was further divided into four subgroups, and each subgroup was examined by a turbo light guide for 20 seconds and 40 seconds and by a light guide of 12 mm diameter for 20 seconds and 40 seconds. Fifteen specimens were fabricated for each group, and they were kept in a container for 24 hours, away from the light. Vickers' hardness was measured by using a microhardness tester, and the following results were obtained. 1. The specimens from the groups 1 and control group, which were polymerized by a turbo light guide for 40 seconds, showed the highest hardness values. The specimens from group 2, which were polymerized for 20 seconds, demonstrated the lowest hardness regardless of the types of light guides(p<0.05). 2. From control group, the specimens polymerized for 40 seconds showed higher hardness than those for 20 seconds, regardless of the types of light guides (p<0.05). From group 1, the hardness values were decreased in the order of the specimens polymerized by a turbo light guide for 40 seconds, by a 12 mm light guide for 40 seconds, and by a 12 mm light guide for 20 seconds (p<0.05). From group 2, the specimens by a turbo light guide for 40 seconds showed the highest hardness(p<0.05), whereas the specimens polymerized for 20 seconds, regardless of the types of light guides, did not show any significant differences (p>0.05). 3. Group 1, which was polymerized by permeating tooth material 1mm thick, showed significant interaction between light intensity and curing time(p<0.05); but group 2, which was permeated by the tooth material 2mm thick, did not show any significant interaction between light intensity and curing time. The results of this study suggest that, when polymerizing composite resin by permeating thin tooth material below 1mm thick, polymerizing degree increases as light intensity and curing time increase. When projecting tooth material over a specified thickness, the increase of polymerization will be limited even if light intensity or curing time is increased.

        능동적 지능형 가상 비서의 사용자 경험 연구 : Google의 'Nest Hub Max'를 중심으로

        본 연구는 능동적 IPA(지능형 가상 비서)가 탑재된 Google의 Nest Hub Max의 사용 행태별 사용자 경험 분석을 위한 질적 연구이다. 근거이론 방법론에 착안하여, 한 달 동안 해당 기기를 사용한 6명의 연구 참여자를 대상으로 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 총 186개의 개념이 추출되었으며, 24개의 하위 범주와 11개의 상위 범주로 정리되었다. 개방 코딩을 통해 축 코딩을 이용한 패러다임 모형을 제시하였고 선택 코딩을 거쳐 사용 행태 유형을 구분하였다. 그 결과, 능동적 IPA의 소극적 사용자와 적극적 사용자 유형을 도출하였으며, 유형별 해당 기기의 사용자 경험을 분석하였다. 유형별 다른 사용 행태의 패러다임을 보였으나 결론적으로 소극적 사용자와 적극적 사용자는 모두 해당 기기의 능동적 IPA로부터 긍정적인 사용 경험을 유발하지 못하였다. 본 연구는 앞으로 출시될 능동적 IPA가 탑재된 기기 및 서비스의 사용자 경험 설계를 위한 기초 자료를 제시하였다. This is a qualitative study about Google 'Nest Hub Max' that displays proactive intelligent personal assistant. Following the step of grounded theory, an in-depth interview for 6 users who had used this device for a month was taken. 186 concepts were discovered, categorized as 11 top-categories and 24 sub-categories. Paradigm diagram, considering axis-coding, was made and it have been narrowed down to 'Usage patterns' of proactive IPA, considering selective coding aspects. 'Usage patterns' were divided to passive and active user. Thus, neither passive user nor active user was satisfied about device and proactive IPA. This study is meaningful that it constructed basic data about the user experience of proactive IPA on this device. It will support the device or service that consists proactive IPA in the future.

        Comparison of Views on Korean and English Writing: Focusing on Bicultural Koreans in the United States

        The numbers of Korean immigrants and students in the United States are steadily increasing, but there have been very few studies of their second language literacy development (Cole, Maddox, Lim, & Notari- Syverson, 2002; Scarcellar & Chin, 1993; Shin, 1994; Skilton-Sylvester, 2001; Yu, 1994). Nor do the very few studies explore the inseparable relationship between Korean literacy and English literacy within a cultural context. This study aims to compare their views on Korean writing with those on English writing to see trace the multiliteracy development of Korean learners of English in the United States. I conducted in-depth oral interviews with Korean immigrants and students of various ages. They were asked to state everything they could remember about what they have learned to write and read in their native language and in their second language across their lifetimes, focusing particularly on the institutions they attended, materials they used, people involved in their learning, and their motivations for writing. The results reveal that the participants developed a view of writing specific to the Korean context and after they moved to the United States, they struggled to readjust the values and meanings they had had for Korean literacy to the second language context. The results of this study suggest future multiliteracy studies are needed to explore multiliteracy development in terms of the meanings and values language learners associate with their multiliteracy and help educational institutions and communities to approach second language learners’ multiliteracy development as a life-long experience.

        미니멀리즘과 맥시멀리즘의 조형성을 활용한 네일 디자인 연구

        Purpose: This study aims to present creative and original nail art design through ideas inspired by the formulation of minimalism and maximalism. Methods: For nail design production that utilizes minimalism and maximalism, we conducted both empirical and theoretical research through literature review and case studies. Moreover, through prior and empirical researches, photos were obtained for classifying and analyzing design cases that demonstrate how minimalism and maximalism are expressed. Result: Through analyzing design cases portraying the formulation of minimalism and maximalism, the works produced under the theme of a woman's life were selected and produced through the following stages: birth, growth, marriage, parenting, and twilight. Conclusion: This study confirms that nail design can be used as an important production material in the developmental and planning processes in various fields, because it is not limited to the nail art field but has become a trend in life. Furthermore, it can be used as a concept associated with various techniques and creative and original designs can be created through storytelling. 목적: 본 연구는 미니멀리즘과 맥시멀리즘의 조형성을 활용한 네일아트 아이디어를 통해 창의적이고 독창적인 네일아트 디자인을 제시하고자 한다. 방법: 미니멀리즘과 맥시멀리즘의 조형성을 활용한 네일 디자인 제작을 제작하기 위하여 문헌적 고찰과 사례연구를 통한 이론적 연구와 더불어 실증적 연구를 하였다. 또한 선행연구와 실증연구를 통해 확보한 사진들을 통해 미니멀리즘과 맥시멀리즘의 조형성을 보여주는 디자인 사례를 분류하고 사진자료를 분석하였다. 결과: 미니멀리즘과 맥시멀리즘의 조형성을 보여주는 디자인 사례를 분석하여 여성의 일생이란 주제로 제작한 작품은 탄생, 성장, 결혼, 육아, 황혼으로 선정하여 제작하였다. 결론: 본 연구는 네일 디자인이 현대인의 다양한 니즈와 욕구를 충족시키는데 도움이 되기를 바라며, 조형성의 활용이 네일아트 분야에 국한 되지 않고 생활 전반의 트렌드로 자리 잡은 만큼 다양한 분야에서 이를 발전시키고 기획하는데 중요한 자료로 활용될 수 있기를 기대하며 네일 디자인에 다양한 기법으로 연상되는 이미지를 표현하고, 스토리를 부여함으로써 창의적이고 독창적인 디자인 창출에 무한한 가능성을 부여할 수 있음을 확인하였다.
