        A Study on Usage Behavior of Influencers by College Students

        Purpose: This study aims to explore the various influencing factors that influencer channel characteristics have on users, targeting university students who are the main users of various social media after the pandemic. Method: in-depth interviews were conducted with 15 college students to investigate their influencer usage behaviors, explore factors affecting their use, and develop a related research model. Results: First of all, in the early days of using content, they encountered content for reasons such as topicality, information, friend recommendation, and curiosity, and there was a tendency to select content based on similar tastes through algorithm and friend recommendation. In particular, the highly topical contents of influencers recommended by friends played an important role in forming peer culture with friends. It was found that sincerity and candor revealed in the content were important factors influencing the period when an influencer's channel was subscribed and used continuously and intimacy was formed. When they felt their sincerity and honesty, they realized that they were different from other influencers and continued to watch them. It was found that the interaction factor plays a decisive role in forming intimacy with influencers and contin-uously using the channel for more than 3 months, forming a fandom and recommending content to others. Conclusion: This usage behavior of college students has great implications for companies that want to pro-mote and market through the influencer channel. As the factors that affect users vary depending on when they use the influencer channel, a promotional strategy that reflects this is needed. In addition, as integrity and hon-esty are important factors in building users' trust, it should be given more important value than anything else in maintaining and managing channels.

        Study on Visualized Temporal Dimension and Temporal Dualism Found in Overlapping Structure

        This study discusses ever changing images in a three-dimensional (3-D) space; that is, projection and expression of the temporal arts. The duality of time that occurs due the changes in time between the present and the past was examined. We explored and analyzed existing art working a temporal form and tried to sublimate the very duality in art, hence, establishing a concept of overlapping structure of time. This concept of overlapping structure, in turn, was incorporated into 3-D space. We verified and confirmed the possibility of visualizing fragmented memories in daily life by making an association between temporal change in 3-D space and the visual depth of 3-D space from specially prepared pieces of artwork. This attempt differs from existing artwork, which is in a 2-D screen only. The technology adopted in this study actualizes artistic expression in the temporal dimension and clarifies the artistic concept of temporal space. The fragmented image of time induces new emotional experiences through overlapping structures.

        Impact of bias power-induced ion energy on refractive index of SiN films room-temperature deposited in SiH4–NH3–N2 pulsed plasma

        Using a pulsed-plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition system, silicon nitride films were deposited at room temperature in SiH4–NH3–N2 plasma. The impact of radio frequency bias power and duty ratio on a refractive index is detailed by using an ion energy analysis system. A decrease in the duty ratio resulted in a decrease in the refractive index at all powers but 60 W. As duty ratio is varied at lower powers, the refractive index strongly depended on Eh/El. Another strong, but negative correlation was noted at high powers. An increase in the bias power in the range of 60–100W led to a decrease in the refractive index at all duty ratios. For the variations in the bias power, no correlation was observed. For all the variations in the power and duty ratio, the refractive index varied from 1.60 to 2.21. Very high refractive index could be achieved by controlling duty ratio at 60 W. A neural network model was constructed using the experimental data. The model demonstrated a R2 of 86.4%. It was used not only to investigate the effect of the diagnostic variables, but to optimize the refractive index.

        Therapeutic Effects of (+)-Afzelechin on Particulate Matter-Induced Pulmonary Injury

        Particulate matter (PM) constitutes a hazardous blend of organic and inorganic particles that poses health risks. Inhalation of fine airborne PM with a diameter of ≤ 2.5 μm (PM<sub>2.5</sub>) can lead to significant lung impairments. (+)-afzelechin (AZC), a natural compound sourced from Bergenia ligulata, boasts a range of attributes, including antioxidant, antimicrobial, anticancer, and cardiovascular effects. However, knowledge about the therapeutic potential of AZC for patients with PM<sub>2.5</sub>-induced lung injuries remains limited. Thus, in this study, we investigated the protective attributes of AZC against lung damage caused by PM<sub>2.5</sub> exposure. AZC was administered to the mice 30 min after intratracheal instillation of PM<sub>2.5</sub>. Various parameters, such as changes in lung tissue wet/dry (W/D) weight ratio, total protein/total cell ratio, lymphocyte counts, levels of inflammatory cytokines in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF), vascular permeability, and histology, were evaluated in mice exposed to PM<sub>2.5</sub>. Data demonstrated that AZC mitigated lung damage, reduced W/D weight ratio, and curbed hyperpermeability induced by PM<sub>2.5</sub> exposure. Furthermore, AZC effectively lowered plasma levels of inflammatory cytokines produced by PM<sub>2.5</sub> exposure. It reduced the total protein concentration in BALF and successfully alleviated PM<sub>2.5</sub>-induced lymphocytosis. Additionally, AZC substantially diminished the expression levels of Toll-like receptors 4 (TLR4), MyD88, and autophagy-related proteins LC3 II and Beclin 1. In contrast, it elevated the protein phosphorylation of the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR). Consequently, the anti-inflammatory attribute of AZC positions it as a promising therapeutic agent for mitigating PM2.5-induced lung injuries by modulating the TLR4-MyD88 and mTOR-autophagy pathways.

        The Effects of Task Repetition on Korean High School Students’ Acquisition of Formulaic Sequences

        This study attempts to explore the effects of task repetition on English language learners’ acquisition of formulaic sequences (FSs) in written production by taking a pretest-posttest design. To this end, three intact classes (n=82) participated in the study and each class was randomly assigned one of three groups: one control group and two experimental groups (i.e., procedural repetition and task repetition). All participants took a pretest and a posttest and received twenty-minute explicit instruction on 27 predetermined FSs after the pretest. The task repetition group completed the identical writing task twice and the procedural repetition group repeated two writing tasks with different topics. Production of the predetermined FSs in participants’ writings from the pretest and the posttest were analyzed in terms of complexity, accuracy, and fluency. Findings suggest that the procedural group produced more accurate FSs and the task repetition group did not. While both the task repetition and the procedural repetition groups demonstrated significant increase in the number of supplied FSs (i.e., fluency), neither group benefitted from task repetition treatment in terms of complexity. The pedagogical implications and the role of task repetition are discussed in terms of instruction of FSs.

        A lot of information digitalized by the rapid progress in the IT field is a great help to the whole society. In this contest, fashion-related information in database is also a help to fashion-related users. For future fashion information site to make efficient information delivery, an attempt is made to analyze and suggest information architecture of the existing sites. Information architecture means structuring and designing information so that users can get information easily and rapidly. Elements of information architecture include information structuring, navigation, labeling system, and retrieval system. Samsung Design Net and First View Korea, both of which are sites with the largest number of users among fashion information sites, were analyzed in terms if information structuring, navigation, labeling system, and retrieval system to determine advantages and disadvantages. By systematically classifying, labeling, and designing information in future fashion information sites into intuitive navigation, users can find out desired contents easily and rapidly to use as ideas and sources of design and popularize fashion information..
