Korea's Tourism Policy had focused for the development of tourism industry during the past thirty years, but now it's time to change the tourism policy toward to the national tourism and build new paradigms for tourism education policy toward to the national tourism and build new paradigms for tourism education policy. one of them, the most important thing is the tourism education for the national tourist, because of the incorrected cognition of tourist. especially, in the mass tourism & mass leisure era, the education of tourism & leisure for the people will be impending task and lead to desirable and sound tourism activity. therefore, in this study the necessity of tourism education for the national tourist were suggested, the role & subject of the national tourist education were presented.

Discovery of a highly selective FLT3 kinase inhibitor from phenotypic cell viability profiling
Lee, Sanghee,Jo, Ala,Park, Seung Bum The Royal Society of Chemistry 2013 MedChemComm Vol.4 No.1

We discovered a novel molecular framework 4 containing a heterobiaryl pyrazolopyridine moiety as a selective FLT3 kinase inhibitor from phenotype-based viability profiling. Compound 4g showed outstanding selectivity in cellular cytotoxicity against MV-4-11 leukemic cells via the induction of apoptosis. The hypothesis-driven deconvolution elucidated that compound 4g selectively blocked the phosphorylation of FLT3 and its downstream effectors, such as ERK and STAT5, only in MV-4-11 cells. The inhibitory effect of 4g on in vitro enzyme function and FLT3 phosphorylation in cells proved that FLT3 kinase is a direct molecular target of 4g. Finally, the kinase activity profiling of 4g verified its excellent selectivity toward FLT3 over 40 representative kinases, including the receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) family.

Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of a Polyyne-Containing Sphingoid Base Probe as a Chemical Tool
Lee, Yun Mi,Lim, Chaemin,Lee, Hun Seok,Shin, Young Kee,Shin, Kyong-Oh,Lee, Yong-Moon,Kim, Sanghee American Chemical Society 2013 Bioconjugate chemistry Vol.24 No.8

The sphingolipid metabolites have emerged as a starting point for the development of novel therapeutics for many diseases. However, details of the functions and mechanisms of sphingolipids remain unknown. To better understand the roles of sphingolipids, chemical tools with unique biological and physicochemical properties are needed. In this regard, we previously reported the synthesis of sphingoid base analogues in which the carbon chains are restricted by triple bonds. Here, we have conjugated a fluorescent dye to the polyyne analogues of the sphingoid bases to generate optical probes. Like the parent polyyne-containing sphingoid base, the 7-nitrobenz-2-oxa-1,3-diazol-4-yl (NBD)-labeled triyne-sphingosine inhibited cancer cell growth far more effectively than did the corresponding sphingosine. NBD-triyne-sphingosine was rapidly incorporated into the cells and displayed broad cytoplasmic distribution. According to the results of a flow cytometric analysis, cancer cells fed with NBD-triyne-sphingosine showed significantly increased fluorescence intensity compared with the NBD-sphingosine treated cells. The metabolism of NBD-triyne-sphingosine was somewhat different from that of NBD-sphingosine. These results indicated that the incorporated rigid polyyne moiety in the sphingoid base altered the physicochemical properties of the sphingolipid, thereby affecting its biological behavior. The higher antiproliferative activity in the SRB assay and the significantly higher fluorescence intensity observed in the flow cytometric analysis are some of the interesting and distinct aspects of NBD-triyne-sphingosine compared to standard NBD-sphingosine probes. Thus, it is believed that the fluorescently labeled polyyne-containing sphingoid base developed in this study will be a useful chemical tool in sphingolipid research.

Graphic Abstract

ACS Electronic Supporting Info

Conceptual design and implementation of Pulse Automation and Scheduling System for KSTAR
Lee, Woongryol,Lee, Taegu,Park, Jinseop,Hong, Jaesic,Hahn, Sanghee,Han, Hyunsun,Woo, Minho,Park, Kaprai Elsevier 2015 Fusion engineering and design Vol.96 No.-

Abstract

The world clock based automatic sequential operation manipulator has been developed and begin to work on the 7th campaign in KSTAR Tokamak. The Pulse Automation and Scheduling System (PASS) divided into Pulse Automation System (PAS) and Pulse Scheduling System (PSS). The PAS is on the online control system and it has communicated with many other local control systems. Before PASS, the plasma experiment was performed manually by using Central Control System (CCS). However the PASS currently manipulates the sequential operation of KSTAR with the programmed shot interval time. It provides readiness check routine, shot time handler, and local system monitoring functions. The PASS has no hardware dependency and it was configured with EPICS extensions. The Real Time Monitoring System, PCS_GATE, Automatic Reporting System, Central Control System, and Timing Synchronization System are well organized and they communicate to each other. The PASS provides perceptual operation status, easy time manipulator, and intuitive man machine interface. The plasma disruption information which is used in the KSTAR standard software framework also comes from the PASS. We describe the functions and system architecture of the Pulse Automation System in this paper. The PSS will be specified inside PASS for the purpose of intelligent system parameterization.

Highlights

The world clock based automatic sequential operation manipulator.

Configuration of the Pulse Automation System (PAS) and the Pulse Scheduling System (PSS)

Providing of operational information in voice through an Ethernet interface.

A perceptional operation status, easy time manipulator, and intuitive man machine interface for the purpose of the Tokamak operation.

Generation of the plasma disruption information.
