The effect of Carbontetrachloride administration on Lactatedehydrogenase isozyme patterns were analyzed by cellulose acetate electrophoresis for the brain, heart, kidney, lung, liver and mouse muscle. Each other tissue was found to have a characteristic distribution of these isozymes. At normal condition, aerobic tissue such as brain, heart, kidney, and lung were found to have all five isozymes from LDH_1 to LDH_5, while anaerobic tissues such as liver and muscle were found to have superiorly LDH_5 The toxicity of Carbontetrachloride administration was most prominence in the liver, and lung toxicity was occured also.

The purpose of this study is to examine the condition of the transferred site in Daegu. The conditions of the case study areas were investigated with the change of use, the density and the infrastructure in the survey area. The results of this study are as follows ; First, the transferred site is developed rapidly into high-density without urban planning control. So, it causes the lack of infrastructure capacity. Second, park and green space is required because most of residual space is used as a parking lot. Third, as high-rise apartment buildings were constructed in transferred site, the conditions around that areas get worse. So, the development of transferred site has to be harmonized with its surroundings.
A nanohybrid system for taste masking of sildenafil

<P>A nanohybrid was prepared with an inorganic clay material, montmorillonite (MMT), for taste masking of sildenafil (SDN). To further improve the taste-masking efficiency and enhance the drug-release rate, we coated the nanohybrid of SDN–MMT with a basic polymer, polyvinylacetal diethylaminoacetate (AEA). Powder X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared experiments showed that SDN was successfully intercalated into the interlayer space of MMT. The AEA-coated SDN–MMT nanohybrid showed drug release was much suppressed at neutral pH (release rate, 4.70 ± 0.53%), suggesting a potential for drug taste masking at the buccal cavity. We also performed in vitro drug release experiments in a simulated gastric fluid (pH = 1.2) and compared the drug-release profiles of AEA-coated SDN–MMT and Viagra<SUP>®</SUP>, an approved dosage form of SDN. As a result, about 90% of SDN was released from the AEA-coated SDN–MMT during the first 2 hours while almost 100% of drug was released from Viagra<SUP>®</SUP>. However, an in vivo experiment showed that the AEA-coated SDN–MMT exhibited higher drug exposure than Viagra<SUP>®</SUP>. For the AEA-coated SDN–MMT, the area under the plasma concentration– time curve from 0 hours to infinity (AUC<SUB>0-∞</SUB>) and maximum concentration (C<SUB>max</SUB>) were 78.8 ± 2.32 μg · hour/mL and 12.4 ± 0.673 μg/mL, respectively, both of which were larger than those obtained with Viagra<SUP>®</SUP> (AUC<SUB>0-∞</SUB> = 69.2 ± 3.19 μg · hour/mL; C<SUB>max</SUB> = 10.5 ± 0.641 μg/mL). Therefore, we concluded that the MMT-based nanohybrid is a promising delivery system for taste masking of SDN with possibly improved drug exposure.</P>

가톨릭의대부속 성바오로병원 뇌신경통증 연구소에서는 1981년 5월부터 1982년 8월 31일까지 내원한 환자 중 경피성 전기 자극요법을 시행한 203명의 환자에서 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1) 경피성 전기 자극요법을 시행한 203명의 환자의 진단별 분류를 보면 요부염좌 65, 요부디스크 47, 경부염좌 21, 견갑통 13, 경추골 경화증 11, 안면신경마비 6, 퇴행성관절염 6, 긴장성 두통 5, 경부디스크 4, 척수손상 4, 류마치스성 관절염 4, 악성종 양통 4, 삼차 신경통 3, 편두통 2, 중풍 2, 헬페스조스타 2, 사경 1, 기타 3이었다. 2) 이들의 성별은 남자가 80, 여자가 123이었고 년령은 11세에서 72세 사이이고 평균 40.9세이었다. 3) 경피성 전기자극 치료요법은 질환별에 따라서 차이가 있으나 보통 12회에서 20회를 시행하였고 안면신경마비, 중풍환자 등에서 20회 이상 지속이 되고 요부염좌, 디스크등은 평균 12회로서 치료횟수가 짧고 치료기간은 주 2-3을 원칙적으로 시행하였다. 4) 이들 치료 기간중 1예의 합병증도 발생하지 않았다. 5) 이들의 치료판정은 A B C D 가지 4가지 기준으로 나누어 지정된 의사가 효과를 판정하였다. A는 80-100%, B는 60-80%, C는 30-60%, D는 0-30%효과로 판정하였다. 전체 환자중 A는 2명(0.98%)이었고 B는 87명(42.8%), C는 103명(50.7%), D는 11명(5.4%)이었다. 이상과 같은 결과로써 경피성 전기 요법 치료는 급만성 통증 환자 치료에 일차적 좋은 치료 방법으로 사려된다. Painful 203 patients with chronic pain were treated with transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation in the CNS & Pain Management Institute of St. Paul's Hospital, Catholic Medical College, Seoul, Korea. Each patient was instructed on the method of autostimulation with variations in for an initial observation frequency and intensity. The effect were recorded daily period of about 3 weeks. The patients were evaluated at suitable intervals and asked to grade the relief of pain on a percentage scale. Four categories of pain relief were established : 80% to 100%(A), 60% to 80%(B), 30% to 60%(C), 0% to 30%(D). This procedure with modern, solid state devise has been tried enough that it can he recommended as a potentials treatment for most types of pain about 90% of pain problems can be managed in this way. The mode of action of transcutaneous Electrical nerve stimulation is most simple and can not be explained only by gate control theory.
