      • Research on the Narrative Mode of Museum Exhibition in The Digital Context

        In the context of the rapid development of digital media technology, museums are actively embracing digital changes to continuously improve their social and cultural service capabilities. In this process, the familiar museum design concept has been subverted, the design language has been rewritten, and the design strategy has been reassessed. The way people visit museums and their goals for the experience are constantly being refreshed and adjusted. As the role of digital media in museums becomes more and more obvious, how to show designers to carry out museum exhibition narrative in the digital context has become an issue worthy of attention. From the perspective of digital media technology thinking and new media language features, this paper explores the new mode of exhibition narrative, aiming to offer constructive insights for the design of museum exhibition narratives in a digital context.

        Effect of Sophora flavescens on the pharmacokinetics of carbamazepine in rats

        Carbamazepine (CBZ), an antiepilepticwith narrow therapeutic window, is a substrate ofCYP 3A4 which metabolizes CBZ to carbamazepine-10,11-epoxide (CBZE). CBZE is an active and toxicitymetabolite, and it is a substrate of MRP-2. UsingCBZ for a long time can cause hepatic injury. Sophora flavescens (SF) is a medicinal herb used forthe protected hepatic injury. This study investigatedthe acute and chronic effects of SF on the pharmacokineticsof CBZ in rats. The concentrations of CBZand CBZE in plasma and tissues were determined byHPLC method. The results showed that SF whichsignificantly decreased the AUC0-t of CBZ, increasedCBZE conversely. Tissue analysis showed that theconcentrations of CBZ and CBZE in brain and liverwere decreased by SF. In addition, the distribution ofCBZE in kidney was reduced significantly, whichinfluenced the CBZE excretion and increased the drugtoxic potentially. Results in the current study suggestthat patients using CBZ might be cautioned in the useof SF extract or Sophora-derived products. Meanwhile,patients receiving drugs which are substrates ofCYP 3A4 and/or MRP-2 should be advised of thepotential herb–drug interaction to reduce the risk oftherapeutic failure or increased toxicity of conventionaldrug therapy.

        MeCP2 inhibits ischemic neuronal injury by enhancing methylation of the FOXO3a promoter to repress the SPRY2-ZEB1 axis

        Methyl CpG binding protein 2 (MeCP2) is involved in nerve regeneration following ischemic stroke, but the related mechanism remains unclear. Here, we found low MeCP2 expression in hippocampal tissues. Using functional analysis, we demonstrated that MeCP2 accelerated FOXO3a methylation and subsequently inhibited its expression, thus repressing the apoptosis of neuronal cells. Mechanistically, FOXO3a could bind to the promoter region of SPRY2, consequently inducing its transcription and promoting the expression of the downstream target gene ZEB1. Altogether, our study revealed that overexpression of MeCP2 can protect mice against ischemic brain injury via disruption of the FOXO3a/SPRY2/ZEB1 signaling axis. Our results identify ectopic expression of MeCP2 as a therapeutic target in ischemic stroke.

        A review on the application of means-end chain theory in tourism

        Scholars investigating customer values and behavior in the field of tourism have used various measurement procedures. This study reviews the application of means-end chain (MEC) theory and its accompanying laddering technique in tourism and hospitality research. MEC theory provides a theoretical framework for scholars to understand consumer behavior. By reviewing 39 publications, this study aimed to comb previous reviews on MEC theory in the tourism industry via a more systematic and integrated review of this literature. We performed bibliometric analysis, which allowed us to establish study clusters, identify key research objects, distinguish interrelations, and excavate collaboration patterns. Content analysis was used to transform crucial results systematically and identify the importance of MEC theory in tourism research, the comprehensive application of multiple models and laddering techniques, and alternative approaches to grouping hierarchical value maps. The conclusion shows that tourism motivation is the most researched theme, and China and Chinese tourists are the most researched region and subjects. This study contributes theoretically and methodologically to the literature related to MEC theory. Theoretically, it bridges the gap of MEC theory used in tourism research and provides theoretical reference for the tourism industry. Methodologically, it also can lead respondents to think about their inner values in response to research questions. Moreover, it can be used alongside other research methods to contribute to more comprehensive and valuable knowledge about tourism.

        Soluble Epoxide Hydrolase Inhibitory and Anti-inflammatory Components from the Leaves of <i>Eucommia ulmoides</i> Oliver (Duzhong)

        <P><I>Eucommia ulmoides</I> leaves have been used as a functional food and drink in China. The purpose of this study was to identify the bioactive constituents with soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) inhibitory activity and anti-inflammatory properties. Twenty-seven known compounds (<B>1</B>–<B>27</B>) were isolated from the leaves of <I>E. ulmoides</I> Oliver, and their structures were identified by NMR and ESIMS analysis; three of these, 2,5-dimethoxy-3-glucopyranosyl cinnamic alcohol (<B>11</B>), foliasalacioside E<SUB>2</SUB> (<B>26</B>), and icariside F<SUB>2</SUB> (<B>27</B>), were obtained from this plant for the first time. Compounds <B>1</B>–<B>7</B> exhibited soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) inhibitory activity at 100 μM; among them, quercetin (<B>1</B>) and kaempferol (<B>5</B>) displayed potential activities with IC<SUB>50</SUB> values of 22.5 ± 0.9 and 31.3 ± 2.6 μM, respectively, with noncompetitive inhibition mode. Nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) inhibitory activity of the isolated compounds was evaluated by the NF-κB liciferase assay in HepG2 cells. Compounds <B>1</B>, <B>9</B>, <B>20</B>, and <B>27</B> displayed potent NF-κB inhibitory effects, with IC<SUB>50</SUB> values of 15.14 ± 2.29, 15.23 ± 2.34, 16.88 ± 2.17, and 16.25 ± 2.19 μM, respectively, whereas other compounds showed weak inhibition of NF-κB transcriptional activity ranging from 17.54 to 92.6 μM. A structure–activity relationship of flavonoids <B>1</B>–<B>9</B> was also discussed.         Suppression of the Resonant Scattering in Imperfect Acoustic Cloaking with a Lossy Medium in ℝ<sup>3</sup>

        <P>It has been realized that resonance frequencies of imperfect acoustic cloaking based on a small perturbation of the transformation acoustics in ℝ<SUP>2</SUP> are located near Dirichlet eigenvalues of the cloaked region [Chin. Phys. Lett. <A HREF='http://dx.doi.org/10.1088/0256-307X/26/1/014301'>26 (2009) 014301</A>; <A HREF='http://dx.doi.org/10.1088/0256-307X/29/12/124301'>29 (2012) 124301</A>]. In this work, we study the performance of the three-dimensional approximate cloaking system based on the transformation acoustics and show that the cloaking effect may be deteriorated at zeroth order Neumann eigenvalues of the concealed region. In particular, transmitted fields into the concealed region can be extremely resonated at frequencies corresponding to the zeroth-order Neumann eigenvalues while scattered fields are suppressed well for any frequency. To enhance the cloaking effect at resonance frequencies, we introduce a lossy medium inside the cloaked region and show that the new proposal can reduce the intensity of transmitted fields significantly due to the lossy medium.</P>

        중국에 대한 FDI의 산업 내와 산업간 기술파급효과에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 경제발전의 원동력이 되고 있는 FDI의 산업 내와 산업간 기술파급효과에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있는 시점에서 동태적 패널분석방법을 통해 외국인직접투자기업의 중국 내 기술파급효과에 대해 실증분석을 행하고자 한다. 중국 내 FDI의 산업 내와 산업간 기술파급효과에 대한 분석결과를 요약하면 첫째, 노동과 자본의 투입이 중국국내 공업의 부가가치에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있다. 이는 중국경제의 성장은 아직 요소투입형 성장단계에 처해 있으며 중국 공업 부가가치의 증가는 노동과 자본의 투입에 아직 의존하고 있는 것으로 판단될 수 있다.둘째, 중국 전체 산업의 경우 각 산업의 산업 집중도 는 비 국유기업의 기술파급 효과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있는 반면에 국유기업의 기술파급효과에 부정적인 영향을 미치고 있다는 것을 알 수 있다.노동집약형 산업의 경우 산업 집 중도는 국내기업의 기술파급효과에 부정적인 영향을 미치고 있는 반면, 기술 집약형 산업의 경우 각 산업의 산업 집 중도는 국내기업의 기술파급효과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있다는 것을 알 수 있다.셋째,외국인직접투자의 산업 내 기술파급효과에 대한 분석결과를 보면,전체산업 의 경우 외국인직접투자의 산업 내 기술파급효과는 비 국유기업, 국유기업과 국내기업의 노동생산성에는 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있다는 것을 알 수 있다.넷째,외국인직접투자의 전방효과에 대한 분석결과를 보면,전체 산업의 경우 외국인직접투자의 전방효과는 중국 비 국유기업과 국내기업의 노동생산성을 감소 시킬 수 있는 반면 국유기업의 노동생산성은 향상시킬 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. There is a growing interest in the Intra-industry and inter-industry technology spillovers Effect of FDI, a growth engine of China`s economic development. The purpose of this dissertation is to implement empirical analysis to the technology spillover effects of foreign direct investment within China. To do this, the static and dynamic panel method are used. The results about industrial technology spillover effects of FDI within China are summarized as follows. First, the increase in labor and capital inputs has a positive impact on the value-added of China`s manufacturing industries. It implies that labor and capital inputs are still important factors for the growth of the value-added since China`s economic growth is in an input driven development stage. Second, the ratio of industrial concentration across regions has a positive impact on technology spillover to private firms while it has a negative impact to non private firms. It also has a positive impact on technology spillover to technology intensive industries but not for labor intensive industries. Third, the result about the intra-industry technology spillover effects of FDI suggests that in every region, intra-industry technology spilloverhas a positive impact on the labor productivity of private firms. Fourth, the result of the forward linkage effect of FDI suggests that it decreases the labor productivity of private firms while it increases the labor productivity of non private firms. Furthermore, it does not matter where the FDI comes from. On the other hand, it does not affect the labor productivity of private and non private firms in the case of technology intensive industry coming from other countries.

        Synthesis and Characterization of ZnS and ZnS/TiO<sub>2</sub> Nanocomposites and Their Enhanced Photo-decolorization of MB and 1,5-Diphenyl Carbazide

        ZnS and $ZnS/TiO_2$ were prepared by chemical deposition. The prepared photocatalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The generation of reactive oxygen species was detected by monitoring the oxidation reaction from 1,5-diphenyl carbazide (DPCI) to 1,5-diphenyl carbazone (DPCO). Excellent catalytic degradation of methylene blue (MB) solution was observed using the $ZnS/TiO_2$ composites during irradiation with visible light. The results show that the photocatalytic performance of $TiO_2$ nanoparticles is improved by loading with ZnS.

        Facile Preparation of Ag<sub>2</sub>S-CNT Nanocomposites with Enhanced Photo-catalytic Activity

        Here we report improved photo-catalytic effect of $Ag_2S$ under visible light using carbon nano-tubes (CNT) modified with $Ag_2S$ nanoparticles. The optical properties, structural properties and compositional analysis, as well as the photo-electrochemical properties of the prepared composites were investigated. It was found that the photocurrent density, and the photo-catalytic effect, was increased by modification of CNT in this way. Compared with the separate effects of $Ag_2S$ and CNT nanoparticles, the photocatalytic effect of CNT-modified-with-$Ag_2S$ composites, increased significantly due to a synergistic effect between the CNT and the $Ag_2S$ nanoparticles.
