In hypoxia and hyperglycemia, SET7/9 plays an important role in controlling HIF-1α methylation and regulating the transcription of HIF-1α target genes, which are responsible for angiogenesis and wound healing. Here, we report the Ir(III) complex Set7_1a bearing acetonitrile (ACN) ligands as a SET7/9 methyltransferase inhibitor and HIF-1α stabilizer. Interestingly, Set7_1a could engage SET7/9 and strongly inhibit SET7/9 activity, especially after preincubation with homocysteine (Hcy), which is elevated in diabetes. We hypothesize that Set7_1a exchanges ACN subunits for Hcy to disrupt the interaction between SET7/9 and SAM/SAH, which are structurally related to Hcy. Inhibition of SET7/9 methyltransferase activity by Set7_1a led to reduced HIF-1α methylation at the lysine 32 residue, causing increased HIF-1α level and recruitment of HIF-1α target genes that promote angiogenesis, such as VEGF, GLUT1, and EPO, in hypoxia and hyperglycemia. Significantly, Set7_1a improved wound healing in a type 2 diabetic mouse model by activating HIF-1α signaling and downstream proangiogenic factors. To our knowledge, this is the first Hcy-targeting iridium compound shown to be a SET7/9 antagonist that can accelerate diabetic wound healing. More importantly, this study opens a therapeutic avenue for the treatment of diabetic wounds by the inhibition of SET7/9 lysine methyltransferase activity.

A novel enzymatic extraction combined with response surface methodology was developed for polysaccharide extraction from marine algae. Box-Behnken design was employed to optimize concentration of enzyme, ratio of water to raw material and extraction time for high extraction yields. The optimal extraction conditions were as follows:a concentration of enzyme of 778.01 mg/g with ratio of water to raw material of 86.80 and extraction time of 129.93 min for Gelidium amansii and a concentration of enzyme of 997.03 mg/g with ratio of water to raw material of 98.76 and extraction time of 117.69 min for Laminaria japonica Aresch. Under the optimal conditions, extraction yields were 48.36% and 32.47%, respectively. Experimental data were fitted by multiple regression analysis to a secondorder polynomial equation and were statistically analyzed. The predicted model matched the experimental data well with coefficients of determination (R2) of 0.9864 and 0.9892, respectively.

<P>The use of mobile phase additives enhances the separation and resolution of the bioactive compounds on the C<SUB>18</SUB> column. Chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid, rutin, and scoparone from <I>Herba Artemisiae Scopariae</I> were investigated as the target compounds. Acetic acid, triethylamine, inorganic salts, and several ionic liquids were added as mobile phase additives into methanol/water (40:60, v/v). The result revealed that a mobile phase with 0.01 mol/L of ionic liquid [BMIM][BF<SUB>4</SUB>] enabled the optimum separation of the four target compounds.</P>
한국 대학생과 재한 중국 대학생의 화폐에 대한 태도 및 재무관리행동 비교 연구

한국에 유학 중인 중국 대학생이 증가하고 있는 가운데 본 연구는 이들을 대상으로 하여 화폐에 대한 태도와 재무관리행동 수준을 살펴보고 재무관리행동에 영향을 미치는 변수를 파악하며, 이를 한국 대학생들과 비교 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과를 요약하면 첫째, 화폐에 대한 태도에 있어서 과시적 수단, 불안의 근원, 감정충족의 도구, 인색한 태도는 한국 대학생과 재한 중국 대학생 간에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 재무관리행동 중 수입ㆍ지출관리행동 영역에서만 한국 대학생과 재한 중국 대학생 간에 유의한 차이를 보여, 재한 중국 대학생에 비해 한국 대학생이 수입ㆍ지출관리행동을 잘 수행하고 있었다. 셋째, 한국 대학생과 재한 중국 대학생의 수입ㆍ지출관리행동에 영향을 미치는 변수를 살펴보면, 한국 대학생의 경우, 성공의 수단, 인색한 태도이었으며, 재한 중국 대학생의 경우 성공의 수단, 과시적 수단, 인색한 태도, 그리고 재무관리에 대한 지식이었다. 한국 대학생의 재무관리 의사결정행동에 유의하게 영향을 미치는 변수는 인색한 태도와 재무관리에 대한 지식인 반면, 재한 중국 대학생의 재무관리 의사결정행동에는 연령과 인색한 태도가 유의하였다. 그리고 한국 대학생의 저축ㆍ투자행동에는 인색한 태도가, 재한 중국 대학생의 저축ㆍ투자행동에는 감정충족의 도구와 인색한 태도가 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. This study examined the levels of attitude toward money and financial management behavior of Chinese university students in Korea, found out the factors affecting the financial management behavior, and compared them with Korean university students. There were significant differences in ostentatious means, source of anxiety, tool for emotional fulfillment, and thrifty attitude between Korean and Chinese students in Korea. Additionally, Korean students showed better managing income and spending than Chinese students in Korea. On the other hand, the significant factors affecting managing income and spending were measure of success, and thrifty attitude for Korean students, while measure of success, ostentatious means, thrifty attitude, and knowledge about financial management for Chinese students in Korea. Thrifty attitude and knowledge about financial management were factors affecting financial decision-making for Korean students, and age and thrifty attitude for Chinese students in Korea. Finally, thrifty attitude influenced saving and investment behavior for Korean students, whereas tool for emotional fulfillment and thrifty attitude were found as significant factors for Chinese students in Korea.
Construction and Reduction Methods of Vulnerability Index System in Power SCADA

Electric power SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system gradually transforming from a separate private network to an open public network, seriously increases the vulnerability risk in electric power SCADA. In order to assess the vulnerability risk in electric power SCADA system, the paper firstly uses Delphi method and AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) to build an index system of vulnerability risk assessment, to fully represent the vulnerability of electric power SCADA system. As index data of vulnerability risk assessment in power SCADA is characterized by strong relation and high dimensionality, the method of Autoencoder is proposed to reduce dimensionality of index data by representing high-dimensional data in a low dimensional space. Auto encoder method can obtain the optimal initial weight in pre-training and then back-propagate error derivatives adjusting weights with the initial weights to minimize the reconstruction error finally getting the best reconstructed results. The paper conducts simulation experiments about reconstruction error in pre-training and fine-tuning process in MATLAB experimental platform, and the experimental results show that dimensional code received by reducing dimensionality of data can basically fully represent high-dimensional data. The low-dimensional code as input can significantly reduce the complexity in the construction of model of vulnerability risk assessment in Electric power SCADA system in later work.

<P>In a faunal study of the micromoths in Cambodia, thirteen species of the genus Dichomeris (Gelechiidae, Dichomeridinae) are recognized, including associated Chinese species. Eight species are described as new: D. arcuata sp. nov., D. splendiptera sp. nov., D. samkosensis sp. nov., D. foliforma sp. nov., D. magnimacularis sp. nov., D. hainanensis sp. nov., D. cambodiensis sp. nov., D. acutivalvata sp. nov. Five species are newly recorded for Cambodia: D. orientis Park & Hodges, D. fuscusitis Li & Zheng, D. obsepta (Meyrick), D. microsphena Meyrick, and D. matsumurai Ponomarenko & Ueda. . Images of adults and genitalia are provided. </P>
