      • NCHS와 韓國의 發育Chart에서 본 競技種目別 女子運動選手의 身體發育 樣相

        The purpose of the present study was to examine on the growth pattern of body height and weight from the NCHS and Korean growth chart in female athletes and non-athletes 9 throagh 18 years of age. The study design, the subjects, and the method were used by the longitudinal investigation. The female sports events participated in this study were basketball(n=11), swimming(n=10), hockey(n=17), volleyball(n=14), ballet(n=16), athletic(n=15), table tennis(n=15), gymnastics(n=9), and non athletes(n=240). Total subjects size was 347. All subjects lived in Pusan city, Korea. The data of body height and weight in this study were plotted relative to National Center for Health Statistics(1982) and Korean(1975) reference charts for statuse and weight of American and Korean girls 2 to 18 years of age, respectively. The conclusions were as follows : 1. In the body height growth chart of NCHS, female basketball players were grown over the range of the 90th percentile, female volleyball players were grown the range of the 75∼90th percentile, female athletics were grown within the range of the 50∼75th percentile, female swimmers and hockey players were grown within the range of the 50th percentile, ballerinas were grown within the range of the 25∼50th percentile, non-athletes were grown within the range of the 25th percentile, and female gymnasts were grown within the range of the 10th percentile, respectively. 2. According to the increase of the chronological age, the body height growth of female athletes on 7 sport events maintained or increased body height growth percentile value from childhood to adolescence, on the other hand, female table tennis players were showed reversal phenomenon decreasing from within the range of the 90∼97th percentile at childhood to within that of the 50th percentile at adolescence. 3. In the body weight growth chart of NCHS, female basketball players were grown within the range of the 75th percentile, female swimmers were grown within the range of the 50th percentile, female athletics and hockey players were grown within the range of the 25~50th percentile, ballerinas and non-athletes were grown within the range of the 25th percentile, and female gymnasts were grown within the range of the 10~25th percentile, respectively. 4. According to the increase of chronological age, the body weight growth of female athletes on 6 sports events maintained the body weight growth percentile value at childhood, on the other hand, female volleyball players and table tennis players were showed decreasing phenomenon, respectively. 5. The ratio of body height and weight of female athletes on sports events showed generally low phenomenon in growth percentil value except non-athletes and swimmers. 6. The body height and weight of Korean growth chart were showed the phase difference phenomenon less about the 25th percentile degree than NCHS growth chart of the U.S.

        Continuous wave of obturation technique에서 플러거의 다양한 적용 깊이에 따른 근단부 폐쇄효율 비교

        이 연구와 목적은 continuous wave of obturation technique으로 근관 충전을 할 때, 다양한 heat source plugger의 깊이에 따른 근단부 근관 폐쇄능력을 비교하는 것이었다. 직전 형태 발거 소구치를 #35/.06크기까지 니켈티타늄 파일을 사용하여 성형 및 세정하였다. 성형과 세정이 완료된 치아를 heat source plugger의 적용 깊이에 따라 15개씩 5군으로 분류하였다: 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 7 mm. 양성 대조군을 제외한 모든 근관은 E&Q plus (Meta Biomed Co., Chungju, Korea)를 사용하여 #35/.06 gutta-percha cone으로 충전하였다. 모든 치아의 근첨공 주변 1 mm를 제외하고 nail varnish를 도포하였고 음성 대조군은 근첨공을 포함하여 전체 면을 도포하였다. 모든 시편을 1% 메틸렌블루 용액에 72시간 동안 보관한 다음 치근첨으로부터 1, 2, 3 mm 높이에서 수평으로 절단하였다. 각 단면을 12.5 x 2.5배 현미경하에서 관찰하고 디지털 카메라로 촬영하였다. 염색제 누출 평가를 위해 five-degree scoring system을 사용하였다. 각 절단면에서의 점수를 모두 합하여 한 시편의 점수로 사용하고 통계학적 분석을 하였다. 이 실험 조건하에서, 3 - 7 mm 까지의 heat source plugger의 적용 깊이는 근단부 폐쇄에서 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 5 - 7 mm의 Buchanan's protocol을 포함한 3 - 7 mm를 모두 임상 적용에서 받아들여질 만하다고 보인다. The purpose of this study was to compare apical sealing ability of continuous wave canal filling technique according to various heat source plugging depths. Eighty one extracted human premolars with straight root were cleaned and shaped to size 35 using .06 taper rotaiy NiTi file. After cleansing and shaping, the teeth were divided into 5 groups following the heat source probing depths from the apex ; 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 mm. All specimens were filled using E&Q Plus with #35/.06 tapered gutta-percha cone. The positive control teeth were not filled. All teeth were coated with nail varnish except the apical 1 mm around the apical foramen. Negative control teeth were completely sealed include the apical foramen. All specimens were immersed in 1% methylene blue solution for 72 hours. Then the specimens were sectioned horizontally at 1, 2 and 3 mm from the root apex. Each sectioned surface was photographed using a digital camera attached to the stereomicroscope at 12.5 x 2.5 fold magnification. All points at 1, 2 and 3 mm were summed as final score of one specimen. Statistical analysis of the collected data was performed. Under the condition of this study, there was no significant difference between the heat source plugging depths of 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 mm in apical sealing ability. All of apical heat source plugging depth from 3 to 7 mm including Buchanan's protocol -from 5 to 7 mm- seems to be acceptable in clinical application.

        Survival analysis is a loosely defined statistical term that ecompasses a veriety of statistical teniques for analyzing positive valued randomvariables. Typically the value of random variable is the time to the failure of a physical component(mechanical or electrical) or the time to the death of a biological unit(patient, animal, cell, etc). While the origins of survival analysis might be attributed to the early work on mortality tables centuries ago, the modern era started about a half centries ago with applications to the engineering. World War Ⅱ stimulated interest in the reliability carried over into the postwar era for military and commercial products. This paper shows the tables of cumulative probability distribution for the cases of increasing and decreasing failure rate model. This probability tables are very useful for people in area of mechanics or epidemiology. The software will be open on the public domain, Catholic University of Taegu-Hyosung(cataegu.ac.kr). I hope many people enjoy this tables and software.

        Electronic water pump(EWP) of vehicle automatically can run engine cooling function regardless of engine speed, so that it reduces remarkably fuel consumption. A numerical analysis was carried out in order to optimize the impeller and volute design for EWP and to investigate the sensitivity of the related parameters using CFD commercial code FLUENT V14.5. The feasible range of related parameters for EWP was obtained. The obtained result will be applied to develop EWP as important design data

        Korea's private security services has been successful in its growth in size, though research on qualities and competition has been stagnated. Also, the subject lacks the expertise, finances, and the technics causing dissatisfactions from the customers. Therefore, private security service companies are in great needs of diverse marketing strategies to fulfill the satisfaction of the customer, such strategies are providing an education for employers, or restructuring company, and for the last, benchmark more advanced companies. This research shows diverse strategies by using "SWOT" method, analyzing the inner and outer environment of the market, also setting the result of the analysis as a basis, establishing "STP" strategy that subdivides the market, and after choosing the objective market, customer who devise marketing mix strategy, and product oriented marketing strategy were provided, to satisfy the customers. When the companies product weren't selected by the customers, there has to be a reason. Before showing customers the product, people who are in security business should think what would the customers want, what would they like, what would they think, what would they dislike first. Company should be able to answer these questions, and the To be successful on customers and product oriented marketing activities, when meeting with customers, company should be more convenient, and also focusing on elevating the qualities of the services. Private security business could categorize as service, therefore securing structure, or securing civilians could define as products. To increase the qualities of the product, there has to be more veterans. to solve this problem, there has to be industrial, and educational supports, also through detailed analysis, company should set the standard price for the service, so that it would prevent the dumping of the price. When dealing with distribution and acceleration, security industry transact customers directly so that there might be some difficulties when employees don't have the right etiquettes around customers. Therefore educating employees on manners, as well as the work that employees assigned to do, will help companies to get close to the customers much easier. Company should be using online marketing, enables the company to respond to the customers man to man, accumulate potential customers for the future references.

      • 플라즈마 소결 PZT 세라믹스의 유전특성

        소결첨가제나 바인더를 넣지않고 만든 무첨가 PZT 분말 성형체를 플라즈마 소결-로 열처리 후의 미세조직의 변화, PbO의 거동 그리고 이에 따른 유전특성을 로소결한 경우와 비교하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 플라즈마 소결-로 열처리로 만든 PZT 시편이 로 소결 시편과 비교하여 입성장이 크게 일어나지 않은 미세조직을 나타내었으며, 또한 균일한 Pb, Zr, Ti 성분분포를 보였다. 유전특성에 있어서는 1kHz에서 20%정도의 유전율의 향상을 얻을 수 있었으며 유전소실 또한 40%정도 낮출 수 있었다. 상기의 결과는 DC 플라즈마 소결법의 특징인 소결초기의 급속가열 효과와 PbO의 증발 억제 효과에 의한 것으로 고려된다. PZT powder compacts without additives and binder were processed by plasma sintering-furnace annealing. Microstructures, PbO behaviour and dielectric properties were investigated, and compared to the specimen obtained by furnace sintering. The specimen prepared by plasma sintering-furnace annealing showed more not only fine microstructures but also homogeneous pb, Zr, Ti composition distribution, and revealed 20% higher dielectric constant as well as 40% lower dielectric loss (measured at 1kHz). Above results might be considered to be caused by rapid heating effects, high temperature sintering effects and preventing effects of PbO evaporation characterized by dc plasma sintering.

      • SHS법에 의한 TiC-Al₂O₃계 세라믹스의 합성 및 소결특성

        TiC-Al₂O₃ system powders were prepared by the self-propagating high temperature synthesis method from the mixture of metal titanium, carbon and alumina powder, Powder and sintering characterization of TiC-Al₂O₃ system were investigated. TiC-15wt% Al₂O₃ compacts sintered by hoy-pressing under the pressure of 20MPa at 1850 for 90 minutes showed 3-point bending strength of 724Mpa, ?? of ??????, hardness of 2450㎏/㎟ and relative density of 97%. The combustion mode of combustion wave showed steady-state up to 15wt% Al₂O₃, spin above 20wt% Al₂O₃ also combustion velocity was decreased with increasing of Al₂O₃ contents.
