OBJECTIVE: The objective of this study was to identify the differences in medication effect according to pain characteristics in spinal cord-injured patients. METHODS: This study is a prospective, randomized, crossover study. Fifty-five patients and 66 locations of neuropathic pain were included. Pain was classified into four spontaneous characteristics and three evoked pain characteristics. Oxcarbazepine (Na channel blocker) and pregabalin (calcium channel α2-&dgr; ligand medication) were tried. Patients were divided into two groups: evoked pain present and evoked pain absent. Overall average visual analog scale was obtained. RESULTS: Oxcarbazepine was significantly more effective for patients without evoked pain than in those with it for electrical, burning, and pricking pain. The effect of pregabalin was not different regarding the presence or absence of evoked pain for all pain categories, except burning pain. In patients with evoked pain, pregabalin was shown to be significantly more effective for electrical pain, allodynia, and heat hyperalgesia than oxcarbazepine. In the evoked pain absent group, oxcarbazepine showed greater improvement than pregabalin but was not significant. CONCLUSIONS: In summary, the phenotype of neuropathic pain was associated with the efficacy of different pharmacologic treatments. Symptom-based treatment, therefore, can lead to more efficient analgesia.
특수교육에서 원초 음악(Elementare Musik)의 의미와 적용

원초 음악을 이해하기 위해서는 “원초(Elementar)”라는 용어가 어떠한 의미로 사용되는지를 먼저 파악하여야 한다. 여기에서의 “원초”란 두 가지 의미에서 파악할 수 있다. 하나는 “인류적 차원”에서의 원초이고, 또 다른 하나는 “음악적 차원”에서의 원초이다. 그러나 특수학교의 학생을 위한 원초 음악 은 학교 교육이라는 성격상 위에 언급된 두 가지 차원을 동시에 포함하는 포괄적인 개념으로 이해된다. 이러한 포괄적 원초음악은 근본적으로 언어, 신체 동작, 리듬과 같은 원초적 형태로 상호 간의 통합을 통하여 이루어져야 하며, 적극적으로 참여하는 데에서 그 본질을 발견할 수 있다. 즉, 원초 음악이란 수동적으로 듣는 그러한 활동이 아니라, 적극적․의식적으로 듣고, 직접 참여함으로써 이루어질 때에 의미가 있는 것이다. 특히, 원초 음악은 다양한 형태로 나타나 특수학교 학생들의 신체적, 정신적 발달에 매우 효과적으로 활용될 수 있기 때문에 적극 수용될 필요가 있다. 이러한 배경에서 이 논문은 원초 음악의 구조와 형태 등을 알아보고 교육 현장에서 어떻게 적용되어야 하는가를 중심으로 논하였다. "Elementare Musik" is being used in special education. "Elementare Musik" has very sig nificant meaning for disabled children. Specially, the teaching method of Orff and Orff Inst rument are exhibiting their full power in special education for disabled children. Music teac hers in special school need to have ability to apply various music activities in music class es. However, one thing that needs to be remembered is that various music activities can be one learning instrument in special education, but it is solely up to attitudes of disabled children for these instruments to make the treatment effect. The most important role of teachers is to help disabled children to actively express their feeling without hiding musical response. The only way for music treatment methods to make effect in music education of special education is to develop music treatments through continuous assessment.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Deficiencies in erythrocyte metabolic enzymes are associated with hereditary hemolytic anemia. Here, we report the development of a novel multiplex enzyme assay for six major enzymes, namely glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, pyruvate kinase, pyrimidine 5′-nucleotidase, hexokinase, triosephosphate isomerase, and adenosine deaminase, deficiencies in which are implicated in erythrocyte enzymopathies. To overcome the drawbacks of traditional spectrophotometric enzyme assays, the present assay was based on ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC–MS/MS). The products of the six enzymes were directly measured by using ion pairing UPLC–MS/MS, and the precision, linearity, ion suppression, optimal sample amounts, and incubation times were evaluated. Eighty-three normal individuals and 13 patients with suspected enzymopathy were analyzed. The UPLC running time was within 5min. No ion suppression was observed at the retention time for the products or internal standards. We selected an optimal dilution factor and incubation time for each enzyme system. The intra- and inter-assay imprecision values (CVs) were 2.5–12.1% and 2.9–14.3%, respectively. The linearity of each system was good, with R<SUP>2</SUP> values >0.97. Patient samples showed consistently lower enzyme activities than those from normal individuals. The present ion paring UPLC–MS/MS assay enables facile and reproducible multiplex evaluation of the activity of enzymes implicated in enzymopathy-associated hemolytic anemia.</P>

<P>A four-bit four-wire four-level (4B4W4L) single-ended parallel transceiver for the point-to-point DRAM interface achieved a peak reduction of similar to 10 dB in the electromagnetic interference (EMI) H-field power, compared to a conventional 4-bit parallel binary transceiver with the same output driver power of transmitter (TX) and the same input voltage margin of receiver (RX). A four-level balanced coding is used in this work to minimize the simultaneous switching noise at TX, to utilize a differential sensing without a reference voltage at RX, to maintain the pin efficiency of 100%, and also to reduce EMI by setting the sum of currents through the four wires to be zero. A capacitive pre-emphasis scheme modified for four-level signaling is also used at TX to compensate for inter-symbol interference. The transmitted four-level signals are recovered by six differential comparators with an offset compensation and a decoder at RX. The proposed transceiver chip fabricated in a 65 nm CMOS process consumes 2.39 pJ/bit with a 1.2 V supply and a 2 inch FR4 channel at 8 Gb/s.</P>
CNC선반 원통선삭의 가공조건 변화에 따른 표면거칠기 특성에 관한 연구

In this study the influence of amterials with different hardness on cutting effects were inverstigated. As for the specimen, S20C and S45C were used. Throw-away insert tip(KIP30) and PSBNR 2020 K12 were sued for bite and bite holder respectively. For measuring the surface roughness of workpieces Taylor Hobson Talysurf 10 was used. As for the wear land measurment, Union Co. Tool Maker Microscope was used. From experiment of flank wear and cutting force measurment, following results were obtained. According to the flank wear, cutting force increased and reached maximum value and decreased until the tool life expired. The cutting force increased rapidly after the tool life. Feed rate and cutting depth oF the S20C were 0.05mm/rev, 0.1mm and those of S45C were 0.1mm/rev, 1.5 mm respectively. Cutting velocity of two test materials were 100m/min, 200m/min and 310m/min. The rate of flank wear increase was propositional to the cutting depth at high cutting velocity while it was nonlinear at middle and low cutting velocity range.

<P>We have demonstrated the first example of carbon- and oxygen-free Cu(In,Ga)(SSe)<SUB>2</SUB> (CIGSSe) absorber layers prepared by electrospraying a CuInGa (CIG) precursor followed by annealing, sulfurization, and selenization at elevated temperature. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy showed that the amorphous as-deposited (CIG) precursor film was converted into polycrystalline CIGSSe with a flat-grained morphology after post-treatment. The optimal post-treatment temperature was 300 °C for annealing and 500 °C for both sulfurization and selenization, with a ramp rate of 5 °C/min. The carbon impurities in the precursor film were removed by air annealing, and oxide that was formed during annealing was removed by sulfurization. The fabricated CIGSSe solar cell showed a conversion efficiency of 4.63% for a 0.44 cm<SUP>2</SUP> area, with <I>V</I><SUB>oc</SUB> = 0.4 V, <I>J</I><SUB>sc</SUB> = 21 mA/cm<SUP>2</SUP>, and FF = 0.53.</P><P><B>Graphic Abstract</B> <IMG SRC='http://pubs.acs.org/appl/literatum/publisher/achs/journals/content/aamick/2014/aamick.2014.6.issue-11/am501286d/production/images/medium/am-2014-01286d_0016.gif'></P>
