<P>In this paper, a design methodology for toroid-type superconducting magnetic energy storage system using the analytical method and data table from finite element analysis is proposed. The method simplifies the model, and uses analytically derived equations to calculate the energy and center flux density. In order to determine the number of turns and current using the analytic process, perpendicular flux density and parallel flux density are obtained from the data table. A 2.5-MJ toroid-type superconducting magnetic energy storage system is designed using the proposed method.</P>
직렬 공진형 컨버터에 사용된 적층구조 압전 트랜스듀서의 해석

전력변환기 부품에 들어가는 자화 인덕터는 부품의 집적화와 소형화에 지장을 준다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 자화 인덕터를 압전 트랜스듀서로 대체한 직렬 공진형 컨버터가 제안되었으며, 압전 트랜스듀서는 전력용량을 만족시키기 위하여 적층구조를 사용하였다. 따라서 제안된 직렬 공진형 컨버터의 동작특성을 알기 위해서는 적층형 압전 트랜스듀서의 임피던스 특성에 대한 이해가 필수적이다. 적층구조의 압전 트랜스듀서는 접착층에 의해 성능저하가 발생하며, 이는 트랜스듀서의 임피던스 특성에도 영향을 미친다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 영향을 고려하여 유한요소법으로 적층형 압전 트랜스듀서의 임피던스 특성을 해석하였다.
선형 초음파모터의 Contact Mechanism을 고려한 특성 해석

본 논문에서는 contact mechanism을 고려한 선형 초음파 모터에 대한 특성 해석방법을 제안하였다. 이 방법은 수치적 방법과 해석적 방법을 결합하여, 시간에 따른 접촉면적과 표면의 운동속도의 변화를 반영하였다. 제안된 해석방법은 시뮬레이션 결과와 실험결과를 비교함으로써 검증되었다.

초음파모터의 동작은 기본적으로 기계적인 마찰에 의지하기 때문에, 이를 해석하기 위해서는 복잡하고 비선형적인 접촉 메커니즘에 대한 고찰이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 타원형 접촉면 모델을 이용하여 이러한 접촉 메커니즘을 설명하고, 또한 회전자가 가하는 압력에 의해 발생하는 고정자의 변형도 고려하는 회전형 초음파 모터의 해석법을 제시한다.

본 논문에서는 고리모양 판의 멀티모드를 이용하여 동작하는 선형 초음파모터에 대한 해석방법을 제시하였다. 고정자의 연위는 3D 유한요소법을 이용하여 해석하였으며, 시간에 따른 접촉 면적과 접촉표면의 운동속도의 변화를 반영한 해석적 방법을 이용하여 고정자와 이동자 사이의 접촉을 해석하였다. 해석방법 검증을 위하여 외경 10.00㎜, 두께 1.00㎜인 선형 초음파모터 모델에 대한 해석결과를 실험결과와 비교하였다.

<P>Abstract: </P><P>Three kinds of herbal medicines, commonly used in Korea, <I>Angelicae tenuissima radix</I>, <I>Angelicae dahuricae radix</I> and <I>Scutellariae radix</I> were studied to evaluate their effect on cytochrome <I>P450</I> (CYP) activities in healthy volunteers. A total of 24 healthy male volunteers were assigned to one of three parallel herbal treatment groups, each consisting of eight volunteers. A cocktail of probe drugs for CYP enzymes was orally administered before and after multiple administrations of herbal medicines, three times a day for 13 days. Probe drugs used to measure CYP activities were caffeine (CYP1A2), losartan (CYP2C9), omeprazole (CYP2C19), dextromethorphan (CYP2D6), chlorzoxazone (CYP2E1) and midazolam (CYP3A4). The probe drugs and their metabolites were quantified in plasma or urine using HPLC or LC-MS/MS. Changes in each CYP activity was evaluated by metabolic ratio of the probe drug (concentration ratio of metabolite to parent form at reference time point) following the herbal medication period, compared to the baseline values. <I>A. dahuricae radix</I> significantly decreased CYP1A2 activity to 10% of baseline activity (95% CI: 0.05–0.21). <I>S. radix</I> also showed significant changes in CYP2C9 and CYP2E1 activities. Compared to baseline values, the metabolic activities of losartan were decreased to 71% (0.54–0.94). In addition, <I>S. radix</I> showed a 1.42-fold (1.03–1.97) increase in chlorzoxazone metabolic activity. However, CYP activities were not meaningfully influenced by <I>A. tenuissima radix</I>. Changes in certain CYP activities were observed after the administration of <I>S. radix</I> and <I>A. dahuricae radix</I> in healthy volunteers. Therefore, herbal medicines containing <I>S. radix</I> or <I>A. dahuricae radix</I> are candidates for further evaluation of clinically significant CYP-mediated herb-drug interactions in human beings.</P>

Objectives The purpose of this study was to identify variables and determine their correlation with violent behavior in trauma- and stressor-related disorder diagnostic patients. Methods A one-year retrospective study (2012 to 2013) was performed on 91 trauma- and stressor-related disorder diagnosed patients at Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital. Study data were obtained from previous medical records. The subjects were divided into two groups based on the presence of violent behavior. Results Of the 91 trauma- and stressor-related disorder diagnosed patients, 33 patients exhibited violent behavior during their clinical course. Sociodemographic factors of age and marital status and their socioeconomic-environmental status were variables significantly related with the presence of violent behavior. Clinical data from Structured Clinical Interview for DSM, Post Traumatic Growth Inventory, and Social Support Scale scores were significantly associated with violence in trauma- and stressor-related disorder patients. Conclusion In the clinical course of subjects with trauma- and stressor-related disorder, appearance of violent behavior should be monitored and approached in multiple ways to address socio-demographic, clinical, and psychological problems. Monitoring of significantly related variables and treatment compliance should be considered part of an appropriate therapeutic strategy for trauma- and stressor-related disorder patients
