In case of a gas turbine engine for supersonic operation, the engine have a wide range of operating inlet mass flow rate and required high performance such as thrust and fuel consumption. Therefore, variable system and its optimal control logic are essentially needed. In this work, a method for performance prediction of a gas turbine engine with variable system compressor and its control scheme were developed. Conceptual design of compact acuation system for the operation of the variable system was also conducted. The performance of a low-bypass ratio mixed flow turbofan engine was analyzed, and it was observed that the surge margin of the engine is improved at off-design condition by applying the control scheme.

<P>We report a new approach to the synthesis of uniform, high areal density Pt nanocrystals supported by conducting polymers. The key strategy is the use of ice-templated, two-dimensional polyaniline nanosheets at the air water interface as a platform for expediting Pt nucleation. Highly crystalline Pt nanoparticles with a narrow size distribution of 2.7 +/- 0.3 nm and a high electrochemically active surface area of 94.57 m(2) g(-1) were obtained. Pt NPs were strongly anchored to the polyaniline nanosheets, and demonstrated high current densities, good durability for the methanol oxidation reaction, and excellent carbon monoxide tolerance, all of which are unprecedented. The idea established in this study could be applied to the production of a wide range of other catalysts with enhanced activities.</P>

The floating ring seal which is used in the high pressure turbo pump is frequently used in the oxidizer pump and the fuel pump of the turbo pump of the liquid propulsion rocket, because it is able to minimize clearance to decrease the leakage flow rate. But, the floating ring seal has a tendency to increase instability in decreasing eccentricity ratio. To complement this weakness, it is devised bump floating ring seal which is inserted bump in the outer surface. It has various experiment results. But the theoretical study of the bump floating ring seal didn't investigated yet. In this paper, we analyse about static characteristics of bump floating ring seal, compared previous experimental results. To analyze the characteristic of bump floating ring seal, we coupled perturbation method of floating ring seal and FEM of bump foil.

This paper describes the initial operations and preliminary results of the Instrument for the study of Stable/Storm-time Space (ISSS) onboard the microsatellite Next Generation Small Satellite-1 (NEXTSat-1), which was launched on December 4, 2018 into a sun-synchronous orbit at an altitude of 575 km with an orbital inclination angle of 97.7°. The spacecraft and the instruments have been working normally, and the results from the observations are in agreement with those from other satellites. Nevertheless, improvement in both the spacecraft/instrument operation and the analysis is suggested to produce more fruitful scientific results from the satellite operations. It is expected that the ISSS observations will become the main mission of the NEXTSat-1 at the end of 2020, when the technological experiments and astronomical observations terminate after two years of operation.

1980년대 이후, 한국 ‘분단영화’에 재현된 ‘역사적 트라우마’에 관한 연구

1953년 7월 27일의 휴전협정으로 한국전쟁은 끝났다. 하지만 그로 인한 남북의 분단은 전쟁의 후유증과 더불어 지난 60여 년 동안 한국사회의 거의 모든 영역에서 지대한 영향을 미쳤다. 한국전쟁과 분단은 집단적으로 경험한 역사적 트라우마였으며, 이후 한국사회의 정체성의 중요한 부분을 형성했다. 역사적 트라우마는 한국전쟁의 경험자들뿐만 아니라 현재의 모든 생존자들에게 의식 또는 무의식 차원에서 끊임없이 영향을 미치고 있다. 따라서 현재 한국사회에서 벌어지는 현상의 핵심에는 이 문제가 도사리고 있다고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 정신분석학과 심리학의 사례들, 주디스 허먼의 트라우마연구 그리고 역사학자 도미니크 라카프라의 ‘역사적 트라우마’ 개념을 근거로, 한국전쟁과 분단의 역사적 트라우마가 1980년대 이후 한국의 분단영화를 통해 어떻게 재현되어 왔는지 살펴보려고 한다. 주요 텍스트는 〈짝코〉 〈최후의 증인〉 〈그 해 겨울은 따뜻했네〉 〈길소뜸〉 〈나그네는 길에서도 쉬지 않는다〉 〈그 섬에 가고 싶다〉 〈공동경비구역 JSA〉 〈풍산개〉 등이다. 이 작품들을 통해, 먼저 한국전쟁과 분단의 역사적 트라우마가 오랜 시간의 경과에도 불구하고 계속해서 현존하고 있는 양상을 고찰했다. 그런 다음, 역사적 트라우마의 증후를 분석했다. 한국전쟁과 분단의 트라우마를 직, 간접으로 경험한 사람들이 외상 후 스트레스 장애의 증후를 드러낸다는 점을 분단영화에 적용해보았다. 본 논문에서 살펴본 분단영화에서는 주요 인물들의 죽음이 반복되고 있다. 〈나그네는 길에서도 쉬지 않는다〉와 〈그 섬에 가고 싶다〉에서 펼쳐지는 굿은 그 죽음들에 대한 애도작업이다. 한국전쟁 이후 가장 시급한 과제는 수많은 희생자들에 대한 애도작업이었을 것이다. 그러나 남북이 첨예하게 대치하는 분단 상황에서 애도는 불가능했다. 이제 우리에게 주어진 과제는 영화를 넘어 현실에서 역사의 희생자들을 애도하는 것이다. 애도 작업을 충실하게 수행해 한국전쟁과 분단의 역사적 트라우마를 치유함으로써, 더이상 대물림되지 않도록 해야 할 것이다. In 1953, the Korean war ended in a cease fire. But the war and division of Korea has had a profound impact on almost every area of South Korea for the past 60 years. The war and the division of Korea was the experience of collective historical trauma. It has formed an important part of the national identity. It has influenced deeply all Koreans. Therefore, the core of the phenomenon happening in South Korea today, it can be said that the historical trauma is the most important problem. In this paper, I studied ‘the historical trauma’ represented in Korean cinema since the 1980s. It was based on a historian, Dominick LaCapra’s concepts. I researched 〈Jjagko〉 〈The Last Witness〉 〈Warm It Was That Winter〉 〈Gilsotteum〉 〈The Man with Three Coffins〉 〈To the Starry Island〉 〈Joint Security Area〉 〈Poongsan〉. Through these films, the two themes were investigated. They were ‘the presence of historical trauma’ and ‘symptoms of historical trauma’. The contents of the former are witnesses of trauma, space of trauma and transference of trauma. The contents of the latter are guilt, memory and oblivion, helplessness and fear. There are repeated death in these films. We saw Guts(it is Korean exorcism) in 〈The Man with Three Coffins〉 and 〈To the Starry Island〉. They were a kind of work of mourning. We should have performed work of mourning for war victims after the Korean war. Now, we must do it. Therefore we must heal historical trauma and no longer transmit it to next generation.

The autonomous valet parking technology is a vehicle and IT convergence technology which drives automatically to the target parking lot without any human intervention. To realize auto-valet parking service, the movement of the vehicle is able to be controlled and spatial environments should be recognized in real-time by sensor fusion. Most fundamental technology for autonomous driving and parking service is to generate path to goal parking lot and generate control command continuously to follow the path. The path has to be generated as considering the dynamics of the vehicle and the driving path and the parking path are generated with different data structure and algorithm because the vehicle is able to follow the parking path which is short distance under 5km/hr slowly. And the smooth curve fitting is needed to follow the driving path but not to follow the parking path. In this paper, we have designed and implemented the path generation algorithms which are able to be followed parking after driving continuously as considering vehicle kinematics.

항공기용 터보팬 엔진에서 압축기 성능이 단 시간에 변화가 클 경우, 이를테면 항공기가 이륙하는 상황에서와 같이 엔진 회전속도(RPM)를 공회전(idle) 상태에서 최대로 증가 시킬 때, 항공기의 엔진 성능이 급격하게 변화하므로 압축기 내에서 서지현상이 발생할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 서지현상 발생 방지를 그 목적으로 하였다. Simulink를 이용하여 특정 상황에서 압축기 내에 일어나는 동적 움직임을 모사하였다. 연료유량을 입력값으로 하고 그에 따른 RPM, 공기유량은 전달함수로 나타냈으며, NPSS를 통해서 획득한 압축기 성능 맵을 통해 서지마진을 출력하였다. 서지마진을 기준 값 10%와의 차이를 PD제어하여 IGV(Inlet Guide Vane)각을 변화시킴으로써 즉, VIGV를 이용하여 압축기 내의 서지라인과 운용점 사이의 마진을 증가시켜 서지현상이 발생하는 것을 방지하였다. Surge phenomenon can be occurred in a compressor when compressor performance of turbofan engine for an aircraft is changed considerably in a short time on the cases like take-off phase and changing of RPM from idle to maximum, because performance of aircraft engine is changed suddenly. This study is aimed to avoid surge in a compressor. Dynamic simulation in a compressor is modeled by simulink in specific condition. Fuel flow is control input, rpm and air mass flow are expressed in terms of transfer function. Surge margin is obtained by using compressor performance map from NPSS. VIGV(Variable Inlet Guide Vane) is controlled by PD controller with difference between surge margin and reference. Finally this paper verifies IGV can prevent surge phenomenon in a compressor.
