      • AtMe : An Online Multi-tenant Social Networking Service in Campus

        Recently, more and more undergraduates have turned Internet to find support and take part in society in campus. However, current SNS systems are not oriented to a specific campus. In this paper, we design an online multi-tenant social networking service in campus, including At Helper and At Society. At Helper aims at improving the success ratio of the help process with a multi-tenant architecture, and At Society provides social services using popular instant messaging mobile application. Both modules change the traditional operation and maintenance to rent services. Besides, the key innovative design, such as multi-tenancy and access-aware data cache, are discussed in detail.

        Observer-based Non-fragile Mixed Passivity and H∞ Feedback Control for Fuzzy Stochastic Jump System Subject to Quantized Measurements

        This paper considers the topic of the observer-based non-fragile mixed passivity and H∞ state feedback control for time-varying delay and norm-bounded parameter uncertainties fuzzy stochastic Markovian jump system subject to quantized measurements. The aim of this paper is to provide a suitable observer-based non-fragile state feedback controller to enhance stochastic stabilization of the closed-loop system and satisfy mixed passivity and H∞ performance. By constructing mode-dependent Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, novel conditions are achieved in virtue of linear matrix inequalities. Two examples including truck-trailer model are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed method.

        CDH17 nanobodies facilitate rapid imaging of gastric cancer and efficient delivery of immunotoxin

        Background: It is highly desirable to develop new therapeutic strategies for gastric cancer given the low survival rate despite improvement in the past decades. Cadherin 17 (CDH17) is a membrane protein highly expressed in cancers of digestive system. Nanobody represents a novel antibody format for cancer targeted imaging and drug delivery. Nanobody targeting CHD17 as an imaging probe and a delivery vehicle of toxin remains to be explored for its theragnostic potential in gastric cancer. Methods: Naïve nanobody phage library was screened against CDH17 Domain 1-3 and identified nanobodies were extensively characterized with various assays. Nanobodies labeled with imaging probe were tested in vitro and in vivo for gastric cancer detection. A CDH17 Nanobody fused with toxin PE38 was evaluated for gastric cancer inhibition in vitro and in vivo. Results: Two nanobodies (A1 and E8) against human CDH17 with high affinity and high specificity were successfully obtained. These nanobodies could specifically bind to CDH17 protein and CDH17-positive gastric cancer cells. E8 nanobody as a lead was extensively determined for tumor imaging and drug delivery. It could efficiently co-localize with CDH17-positive gastric cancer cells in zebrafish embryos and rapidly visualize the tumor mass in mice within 3 h when conjugated with imaging dyes. E8 nanobody fused with toxin PE38 showed excellent anti-tumor effect and remarkably improved the mice survival in cell-derived (CDX) and patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models. The immunotoxin also enhanced the anti-tumor effect of clinical drug 5-Fluorouracil. Conclusions: The study presents a novel imaging and drug delivery strategy by targeting CDH17. CDH17 nanobodybased immunotoxin is potentially a promising therapeutic modality for clinical translation against gastric cancer.

        This purpose of the study was to investigate the relationship of hope on goal orientation and passion in leisure sport participants. The subjects were 320 leisure sport participants who responded to the questionnaires, these were hope, goal orientation and passion. The results of this study were as followings. first, pathway thinking of hope had a positive effect on task goal orientation and ego goal orientation. Also, agency thinking had a positive effect on ego goal orientation. Second, task goal orientation of achievement goal orientation had a positive effect on harmonious passion and obsessive passion. And ego goal orientation had a positive effect on harmonious passion and obsessive passion. These results were discussed based on previous literature and theory.

        Characteristics of Odor in the Major Facilities of a Fishery Industrial Complex

        The objectives of this study were to analyze the characteristics of odor in the major facilities of a fishery industrial complex using the air dilution olfactory method and the instrumental analysis method. The results indicate that although the limit of dilution to threshold (D/T) ratio in the major facilities is not regulated by the Odor Emission Standard, the mean (D/T) ratio over than 3,000 which is higher than the limit in the outlet of industrial area 3 times was found at three sampling sites. In the case of the concentration of the malodorous compounds, ammonia concentration is higher than any other odor compounds. The methyl mercaptan, n-Butyric acid and hydrogen sulfide as the main pollutants are confirmed by the odor quotient (OQ). In our study, it is showed a moderately good correlation between the (D/T) ratio and the sum of OQ. By this result, we can estimate the odor characteristics and evaluate the potential impact of each odor compound. In addition, we consider that it will affect the people"s normal life and even cause for complaint around the boundary area by the diffusion of odor.

        Catalytic Combustion of Propionaldehyde over Alumina-Supported Manganese Oxides

        In this study, the catalytic combustion of propionaldehyde, which is an Offensive Odorant Substance assigned by the Korean Ministry of Environment (KMOE), over alumina-supported manganese oxide (Mn/Al2 O3) catalysts was investigated. The combustion reaction was carried out in a fixed-bed reactor at the temperature range of 200 ∼340 ℃. Mn/Al2O3 catalysts with Mn loadings ranging from 3.9 to 18.3 wt.% were prepared by impregnation method. The physicochemical characteristics of the catalysts were analyzed by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electronic Microscopy (SEM) and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET). The Mn crystalline phases of the Mn/Al2O3 catalysts were identified as α-Mn2O3 and β-MnO2. Mn oxides were covered on γ-Al2O3 supports with an average diameter of around 1 μm. With the increase of Mn loadings, the BET surface areas, pore volumes and average pore diameters of the Mn/Al2O3 catalysts decreased. The catalytic activities of Mn/Al2O3 catalysts increased as the Mn loading was increased from 3.9 wt.% to 18.3 wt.%. The catalyst with 18.3 wt.% Mn loading was able to achieve 100% propionaldehyde conversion at 260 ℃. For the same temperature, a lower Gas Hourly Space Velocity (GHSV) and a lower propionaldehyde concentration promote the complete combustion of propionaldehyde.

        Comparative Study of Non-Electrochemical Hysteresis Models for LiFePO<sub>4</sub>/Graphite Batteries

        The estimation of $LiFePO_4$/graphite battery states suffers from the prominent hysteresis phenomenon between the respective open-circuit voltage curves towards charging and discharging. A lot of hysteresis models have been documented to investigate the hysteresis mechanism. This paper reviews and deeply interprets four non-electrochemical hysteresis models and some improvements. These models can be conveniently incorporated into commonly used equivalent circuit models to reproduce battery behaviors. Through simulation and experimental comparisons of voltage predictions and state-of-charge estimations, the pros and cons of these models are presented.
