The purpose of this study was to empirically elucidate research on Dangun in modern Japanese and provide a comprehensive view of its characteristics. The study referred to the document collection Japanese Dangun Research, provided by the Hongik Foundation in the Korea‒Japan Joint Study to Establish the Histories of Dangun/Ancient Korea and East Asia supervised by the foundation. Specifically, the essential points of the 18 Dangun studies noted in the collection were analyzed. Subsequently, the characteristics of the respective studies were examined while taking into account the backgrounds and careers of the 14 Japanese authors of the papers. Finally, the perspective of historiography was also considered, noting how Japanese research on Dangun was influenced by Japanese national identity, which was abruptly formed in modern Japan.

The amorphization of indomethacin (IMC) with cystine (Cys2) was studied by discrete element method (DEM) simulations and principal component analysis (PCA). X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD) analysis suggested that the conversion of crystalline IMC to amorphous state was accelerated by co-grinding with Cys2. XRPD spectra about amorphization of IMC with Cys2 were analyzed by PCA. PCA results suggest that IMC/Cys2 system undergoes two-phase amorphization, as indicated by the 2nd PC score, and that the change in phase depends on the total frictional energy calculated by DEM simulations. Electron spin resonance result revealed that the radical from Cys2 may be related to the amorphized progression of IMC.

Light quality is a critical factor that affects plant quality, including phytochemical accumulationand marketable characteristics, in closed-type plant production systems. The purpose of this studywas to determine the appropriate light quality for production of good quality water spinach in termsof its appearance and accumulation of phytochemicals in an artificial environment. Plants werehydroponically cultured under five different light quality conditions: red, blue, green, red and blue(as a control), and red and blue with far red at a photosynthetic photon flux density of 200 μmol·m-2·s-1for 14 days after transplantation. Shoot (stem and leaf) fresh weights (FW) under red-containinglight conditions increased more than 39.7% compared to that under monochromatic blue light, andmonochromatic red light produced significantly higher stem FW but lower leaf FW compared tothat under blue-containing light conditions. Monochromatic blue light significantly increased theantioxidant activity capacity in leaves and stems more than 210.0% compared to other treatments. However, blue-containing light significantly stimulated physiological disorder (intumescence injury)in stems and suppressed stem elongation compared to monochromatic red or green light. Monochromaticred light reduced the number of intumescent lesions by 95.8% and enhanced stem elongationcompared to control. These findings suggest that red-rich light promotes growth of water spinachwith less intumescence.
Detection of Grasping Position from Video Images Based on SSD

Recently, consistent container transportation of roads and ships is mainstream of international freight transport. Because of various factors, automation of cargo handling work is required at the container terminal. Various causes are decrement of future labor force population by an increasing trend of container moving amount and declining birthrate and aging population. Therefore, this study presents the relative position of hanger and container measurement technology using Single Shot Multibox Detector (SSD) for the purpose of improvement of cargo handling work efficiency and unmanned container terminal. In the case of undetected by SSD, it will be detected using AKAZE feature. The proposed method is applied to 368 images of container gripping taken by a camera installed in a container crane. As a result, Interaction of Union (IoU) targeted for container gripping is 87.79%, and a detection rate is 94.57%.
