        Cardiometabolic risk factors and metabolic syndrome based on severity of obesity in Korean children and adolescents: data from the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey 2007–2018

        Purpose: Data regarding cardiometabolic risk factors (CMRFs) and metabolic syndrome (MetS) by body mass index (BMI) category in Korean youth are sparse.Methods: Among the participants of the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey 2007–2018, 9,984 youth aged 10–18 years were included in the study. Participants were classified into 4 groups based on BMI status: normal weight, overweight, class I, and class II/III obesity. CMRF prevalence, including total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, triglycerides, blood pressure, fasting glucose, glycated hemoglobin, and MetS, were determined using the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) and modified National Cholesterol Education Program-Adult Treatment Panel (NCEP-ATP) III criteria based on BMI category.Results: The prevalence of overweight, class I, class II, and class III obesity was 9.52%, 7.73%, 2.10%, and 0.32%, respectively. Mean CMRF values increased with BMI, except high-density lipoprotein cholesterol. Age- and sex-adjusted odds ratios (ORs) for prediction of CMRFs also increased with BMI. Adjusted ORs for MetS among overweight, class I, and class II/II obesity were 54.2, 283.3, and 950.3 for IDF criteria and 9.56, 37.9, and 126.8 for NCEP-ATP III criteria, respectively (all <i>p</i><0.001).Conclusion: Class II and III obesity in Korean children and adolescents was associated with significantly increased CMRF and MetS prevalence. Therefore, it can be useful to measure CMRFs in obese children and adolescents. Further studies are required to establish screening guidelines based on obesity severity.

        희망과 불안의 양가적 공간으로서의 도시

        이 연구는 지속가능한 발전과 사회통합이란 새로운 목표를 지향하는 지역의 도시재생 사업 중, 최근 공간의 재구성이 동시다발적으로 진행되고 있는 경상북도 포항시의 '중앙동'을 선정해 분석하였다. 이 공간은 과거 경제, 사회, 문화의 요충지로서 '원도심 복원'이라는 기치 아래 지역민들의 삶의 질 향상과 마을 공동체의 공생, 나아가 문화와 예술을 기반으로 창조적이고 독특한 공간으로의 변화를 위한 전략적인 추진과 계획이 진행되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 도시재생 정책은 지역발전을 전면에 내세우지만, 이면에는 배제와 소외가 만연한 도시공간으로서 공간의 타자화가 작동하고 있으며, 나아가 공간을 점유하기 위한 주체로부터의 억압과 통제가 이루어지고 특정한 이데올로기가 은폐되는 양가적인 도시 공간임을 알 수 있었다. 이를 통해 다양한 삶이 공존하는 도시 공간 속 주체와 집단 간의 관계성, 유동하는 자본주의 사회에서 이들로부터 관리되고 규제되는 지역사회의 양상, 정치적 흐름에 대응하는 주체 및 집단의 변화 등 복잡한 이해관계로 구성된 새로운 공간과 관련한 문제들을 연계적으로 탐구하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 이 연구는 데이비드 하비의 '자본축적'의 개념과 '시공간 압축'에 관한 논의를 기반으로 분석을 실시하였다. 특히, 포항 도시정책의 추진현황에 대한 상세한 서술, 도시재생정책 관계자와 전문가의 담화 및 기고문을 포함해 주민단체와 대표자, 그리고 세대를 망라해 지역 거주민들의 다양한 목소리가 제시된 지역 도시재생 신문들을 바탕으로 텍스트 분석을 실시하였다. This study examined the case of 'Jungang-dong' in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do, which is undergoing simultaneous spatial reorganization among local urban regeneration projects aiming for new goals of sustainable development and social integration. This space is a key economic, social, and cultural hub in the past, and strategic promotion and planning are underway to improve the quality of life of local people, and also to move to a creative and unique new space based on culture and art. However, although this urban regeneration policy puts regional development at the forefront, a flip side of it functions as an urban space where exclusion and alienation are prevalent. Furthermore, it is an ambivalent urban space where suppression and control to occupy space and a certain ideology is concealed. Through this, the relationship between individuals and groups in the urban space where diverse lives coexist, and the complex interests such as the change and overcoming of the subject and group responding to the political flow and the aspect of the local community managed and regulated in a fluid capitalist society. For this, this study conducted an analysis based on David Harvey's concepts of 'capital accumulation' and 'time-space compression'. In particular, textual analysis was conducted based on the status of implementation of Pohang urban policy, statements and contributions by urban regeneration policy officials and experts, resident groups and representatives, and multiple voices of local residents presented in Pohang urban regeneration newspapers.

        양방향재하시험에서 재하장치 위치 선정에 관한 연구

        양방향재하시험의 성공여부는 상향력과 하향력의 균형을 이룰 수 있는 재하장치 위치 선정에 달려있다. 상향력과 하향력의 균형을 이루기 위해서는 발휘되는 단위주면마찰력과 단위선단지지력의 산정이 중요한데, 국내에서 시행되는 양방향재하시험은 주로 사용말뚝에 적용되어 극한지지력까지 재하되지 않고 설계지지력을 확인하는 것이 일반적이다. 하지만 국내.외 제안된 암반층의 극한단위주면마찰력 및 허용단위주면마찰력 산정식은 암반의 일축압축강도를 기반으로 되어있고, 또한 국내 풍화암층과 RQD가 극히 낮은 연암층은 일축압축강도시험을 할 수 있는 코아를 얻기가 어려워 적용이 어려운 실정이다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 국내에서 시행되었던 양방향재하시험에서 얻은 각 지층별 발휘된 단위주면마찰력과 환산된 SPT N/cm과 관계도표를 제안하고 이 관계도표를 이용하여 실제 국내 현장의 양방향재하시험을 위한 상향력과 하향력의 균형위치를 선정하였다. 또한 선정된 균형위치에 양방 향재하장치를 설치한 후 재하시험을 실시하여 측정된 각 지층의 발휘된 단위주면마찰력 값들과 균형위치 선정 시 적용한 관계도표의 값들을 비교하여 관계도표의 적정성을 분석하였다. 분석결과 풍화토층과 풍화암층에서는 거의 유사한 결과를 보였고, 연암층에서는 재하장치 상부연암층과 하부연암층에서 발휘된 측정값(상부 1,151kN/㎡, 하부 1,500kN/㎡)의 평균값(1,325kN/㎡)도 산정값(1,250kN/㎡)과 큰 차이를 보이지 않아 관계도표는 적정한 것으로 판단되었다. Success or failure of the bi-directional pile load test for drilled shaft depends on point selection for loading cells, that is balanced location both uplift force and downward force. Methods to evaluate the ultimate unit side resistance in rockmass layer in both domestic and foreign are based on the uniaxial compression strength of rock core, which can hardly be obtained in domestic rockmass layers which are weathered rockmass layer and soft rockmass layer with very low RQD. Therefore, this study suggested the relation charts between the revised SPT N values and developed unit side resistance of each different layers, which were obtained from bi-directional pile load tests in various domestic sites. To evaluate the appropriateness of the relation charts, the developed unit side resistances from the relation charts were used to select the loading cell position and compared with the measured unit side resistances from field pile load test. Results showed that the developed side resistance from relation charts and the measured side resistance of weathered soil layer and weathered rock layer were very close. Average developed side resistance(1,325kN/㎡), which are average of upper soft rock layer of loading device(1,151kN/㎡) and lower(1,500kN/㎡), was similar with the estimated value(1,250kN/㎡).

        미디어가 재현하는 맛집 탐방과 대중의 문화 실천: 윌리엄즈의 감정구조와 하비의 공간이론을 중심으로

        In this study, we examined the Korean reality TV programs related to food, in which production and consumption of contents are produced globally. For this, two observational reality programs were selected. Those are <I Live Alone> (MBC) and <Omniscient Interfering Point> (MBC), that were popular among the public through the reproduction of food consumption in everyday life. The two cultural products are reproduced utopian feelings of healing and rest for the public, who routinely experience fatigue and exhaustion in a post-capitalist society. However, cultural practices related to food were constantly reproducing other forms of labor, competition, and also anxiety due to the constant comparison with others. For this, we utilized Raymond Williams’ ‘structure of feelings’ and David Harvey’s perspective, which critically discussed the social space of post-capitalism. In particular, textual analysis was conducted based on some elements such as dialogue and behavior of characters, subtitles, filming composition, and sound effects. In addition, we tried to interpret the various forms of practice by people and the meaning they give to the space. Therefore, the analysis was carried out by combining the daily life and emotional structure of the public.

      • 시뮬레이션 기반 사람 주행 대사 에너지 추정 시 계산 모델 변수의 민감도 분석

        This study investigated key variables influencing metabolic energy estimation in running simulations. Utilizing the Umberger model and OpenSim CMC function, metabolic energy was quantified within the modified Rajagopal musculoskeletal model during a running simulation. A standardized sensitivity method was conducted, with 12 muscle parameters in the right Tibialis anterior (TA) and Rectus femoris (RF) being adjusted. Both TA and RF displayed significant sensitivity to tendon slack length, consistent with findings from other basic simulation studies involving different motions. Given their pronounced sensitivity, variables such as optimal fiber length and maximum contraction velocity are potential considerations for refining metabolic energy estimations.
