<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>We report measurements of radiative <I>B</I> decays with Kηγ final states, using a data sample of 253 <SUP>fb−1</SUP> recorded at the ϒ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB <SUP>e+</SUP><SUP>e−</SUP> storage ring. We observe <SUP>B+</SUP>→<SUP>K+</SUP>ηγ for the first time with a branching fraction of (8.4±1.5(stat)−0.9+1.2(syst))×<SUP>10−6</SUP> for <SUB>MKη</SUB><2.4 GeV/<SUP>c2</SUP>, and find evidence of <SUP>B0</SUP>→<SUP>K0</SUP>ηγ. We also search for B→K3∗(1780)γ.</P>
A highly sensitive and selective impedimetric aptasensor for interleukin-17 receptor A

Interleukin-17 receptor A (IL-17RA) has been recognized as a valuable biomarker for diverse diseases, including autoimmune diseases. In this work, an electrochemical biosensor with great sensitivity and selectivity toward IL-17RA was fabricated using an IL-17RA aptamer (K<SUB>d</SUB>=14.00nM) for the first time. The aptasensor was manufactured using electrodeposition of gold nanoparticles, and then quantitative detection of IL-17RA was performed based on impedimetry. The developed sensor exhibited a superior analytical performance for IL-17RA with a wide dynamic range of 10-10,000pg/mL in buffer and a detection limit of 2.13pg/mL, which is lower than that of commercially available ELISA kits. In addition, we validated the high specificity of the designed aptasensor to only IL-17RA, which showed good sensitivity even in human serum solution. Furthermore, the detection of the differentiated HL-60 cells expressing IL-17RA was successfully performed. Clinical applicability of the sensor was also demonstrated utilizing neutrophils separated from asthma patients. It is expected that the fabricated aptasensor will become an excellent diagnostic platform for IL-17RA-mediated diseases.

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of topping time and degree on the characteristics of three tobacco varieties, and to establish the early topping (Button stage) method at Eumseong Experiment Station, Korea Tobacco Research Institute in 1979-1980. The results are summarized as follows; yield increased in the plots of By 104, topping at button stage and under first leaf from floral arsis. Quality was good in the plot topped at button stage and under first leaf from floral axis. Price per 10a was highest in the plot topped at button stage and under first leaf from floral axis.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>We report the observation of <SUP>B0</SUP> decays to the <SUP>K+</SUP><SUP>π−</SUP><SUP>π0</SUP> final state using a data sample of 78 fb<SUP>−1</SUP> collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB <SUP>e+</SUP><SUP>e−</SUP> collider. With no assumptions about intermediate states in the decay, the branching fraction is measured to be (36.6−4.3+4.2±3.0)×<SUP>10−6</SUP>. We also search for <I>B</I> decays to intermediate two-body states with the same <SUP>K+</SUP><SUP>π−</SUP><SUP>π0</SUP> final state. Significant <I>B</I> signals are observed in the ρ<SUP>(770)−</SUP><SUP>K+</SUP> and <SUP>K*</SUP><SUP>(892)+</SUP><SUP>π−</SUP> channels, with branching fractions of (15.1−3.3−1.5−2.1+3.4+1.4+2.0)×<SUP>10−6</SUP> and (14.8−4.4−1.0−0.9+4.6+1.5+2.4)×<SUP>10−6</SUP>, respectively. The first error is statistical, the second is systematic and the third is due to the largest possible interference. Contributions from other possible two-body states will be discussed. No <I>CP</I> asymmetry is found in the inclusive <SUP>K+</SUP><SUP>π−</SUP><SUP>π0</SUP> or <SUP>ρ−</SUP><SUP>K+</SUP> modes, and we set 90% confidence level bounds on the asymmetry of −0.12<<SUB>ACP</SUB><0.26 and −0.18<<SUB>ACP</SUB><0.64, respectively.</P>

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>We have measured <SUP>π+</SUP><SUP>π−</SUP> and <SUP>K+</SUP><SUP>K−</SUP> production in two-photon collisions using 87.7<SUP>fb−1</SUP> of data collected with the Belle detector at the asymmetric energy <SUP>e+</SUP><SUP>e−</SUP> collider KEKB. The cross sections are measured to high precision in the two-photon center-of-mass energy (<I>W</I>) range between 2.4GeV<W<4.1GeV and angular region |cos<SUP>θ∗</SUP>|<0.6. The cross section ratio σ(γγ→<SUP>K+</SUP><SUP>K−</SUP>)/σ(γγ→<SUP>π+</SUP><SUP>π−</SUP>) is measured to be 0.89±0.04(stat.)±0.15(syst.) in the range of 3.0GeV<W<4.1GeV, where the ratio is energy-independent. We observe a <SUP>sin−4</SUP><SUP>θ∗</SUP> behavior of the cross section in the same <I>W</I> range. Production of <SUB>χc0</SUB> and <SUB>χc2</SUB> mesons is observed in both γγ→<SUP>π+</SUP><SUP>π−</SUP> and γγ→<SUP>K+</SUP><SUP>K−</SUP> modes.</P>

<P>We present a measurement of the branching fractions and charge- parity-( CP-) violating parameters in B..K decays. The results are obtained from the final data sample containing 772 x 10(6) BB _ pairs collected at the.d4S_ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric- energy e_e- collider. We obtain the branching fractions BdB0 0 _d4.5 0.4dstat_ 0.3dsyst_x10- 6; BdB_..K__ d6.80.4dstat_ 0.4dsyst__x10- 6 which are in agreement with their respective current world averages. For the CP- violating parameters, we obtain A.K0 S - 0.36 +/- 0.19dstat_ 0.05dsyst_; S.K0 S _0.91 0.32dstat_ 0.05dsyst_; A.K_ - 0.03 +/- 0.04dstat_ 0.01dsyst_; where A and S represent the direct and mixing- induced CP asymmetry, respectively. We find no evidence of CP violation in the decay channel B_..K_; however, we obtain the first evidence of CP violation in the B0..K0 S decay channel at the level of 3.1 standard deviations.</P>

We measured proton-production double differential cross sections (DDXs) by 290 MeV/u carbon beams on carbon, copper, lead targets at forward angles. The proton energies were measured with the spectrometer which consisted of GSO(Ce) crystals and plastic scintillators. The measured DDXs were compared with the calculated ones with PHITS code. The simulation results generally agreed with the measured ones. The measured results will be useful as the benchmark of existing simulation codes and for the future improvements.
Power Supply System of DC/AC Micro Grid System

This paper proposes an AC/DC power supply system with DGs using the parallel processing method. The purpose of this system is to supply the power without connecting to the utility gird. The DGs consist of photovoltaic (PV), -and wind generators (WG), and the main energy source of this system is the DGs and the UPS battery. When the system does not get enough energy from the DGs, and the power supply of the battery runs out, this system connects to the utility grid and begins to charge the battery and supply to the load. In this study, we focused on the AC power supply and DC power supply from DGs. Then, the converters of DGs use two types, DC/AC type and DC/DC type. The power supply system has been operated with the actual loads of 20 ㎾ in the campus of the Aichi Institute of Technology. This paper reports on our study of DC and AC power supplies in the event of a system anomaly.
