The Study on Radar-Rainfall Estimation with Radar and AWS

There are plenty of radar reflectivity-to-rainfall transformation schemes to estimate quantitative precipitation. KMA is developing radar-rainfall estimation system for providing QPE. The realtime derived power law scheme was studied with radar reflectivity data gathered by 4 radar sites which cover inland area. Even though the scheme is not sufficiently verified, the verification result show a promise the possibility. What parameter set is selected depends on the usage of Radar-Rainfall. If bias has higher a priority, small parameter b should be considered. Otherwise rmse is preferred to bias, larger b is selected. In order to apply to operation, the stability and consistency might be verified.

<P>We propose an experimental method to decompose the positive gate-bias stress (PBS)induced threshold voltage shift (AVth) of amorphous InGaZnO (a-IGZO) thin-film transistors (TFTs) into the contributions of distinct degradation mechanisms. Topgate self-aligned coplanar structure TFTs are used for this letter. Stress-time-divided measurements, which combine the subgap density-of-states (DOS) extraction and the analysis on recovery characteristics, are performed to separate the AVth components. Change in excess oxygen (Oex)-related DOS is clearly observed, and AVth by PBS is quantitatively decomposed into the contributions of the active Oex, and the deep and shallow gate insulator traps. The quantitative decomposition of PBS-induced AVth provides physical insight and key guidelines for PBS stability optimization of a-IGZO TFTs.</P>
무중력 상태에 대한 예상의 확인 결과가 예비 초등 교사의 인지갈등과 개념변화에 미치는 영향

This study examined the effects of the result of ascertaining predictions on cognitive conflict and conceptual change when students learned the concept of weightlessness. Participants were 200 pre-service elementary teachers. They answered the pretest composed of two items. Through the demonstration on either of two items of the pretest, they identified whether their predictions were correct or not. In addition, students' cognitive conflicts were measured. After brief instructional treatment, the posttest was conducted. The results of this study are as follows: The more students who identified their own predictions on the experiment were incorrect there were, the more effective it was on cognitive conflict and conceptual change. And cognitive conflicts and conceptual changes of students who identified that their predictions were incorrect were generated meaningfully more than those of students who identified that their predictions were correct. From these results, it is concluded that students who identified that their predictions were correct experience cognitive conflicts, but their cognitive conflicts and conceptual changes were smaller than those of students who identified that their predictions were incorrect.

무게에 대한 정의는 두 가지가 존재하는데, 이러한 이중적 정의가 학생들이 무중력 상태를 이해하는 것을 방해할 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 무게와 관련하여 무중력 상태의 의미를 조사하고, 7차 교육과정에 따른 중등 과학 교과서에 나타난 무중력 상태에 대한 기술을 분석하였다. Existing two possible definitions of weight can prohibit students from understanding weightlessness. In this study, we investigated the meaning of weightlessness in relation to definitions of weight, and analyzed the descriptions of 7th curriculum secondary school science textbooks about weightlessness.

<P>Electrophilic intramolecular twofold iodoarylation was developed from the reaction of diynes and diynyl diethers and amines with iodine monochloride under mild conditions, which produced bis(2<I>H</I>-hydronaphthalene and chromene) and 2<I>H</I>-quinoline bearing an alkenyl iodide moiety in good to excellent yields.
