Kyung-Hee University Global Campus accepted changing of education environment to adapt to the World's information technology society so that school has been preparing the Master plan to grow up campus's vision since 2007. However, realization of the Master plan need a lot of financial resources, much times and phases in improvement. Especially, our university needs symbolized business in 2009 due to the 60th anniversary of our university. Based on this we want to improve the main entrance road environment from school gate to the school of international management and reconstruct the spatial environment beside the main road. The purpose of this research is to construct a pedestrian space environment and reconstruct the campus environment which adapt to the new times' demands. That is why the Master plan is trying to find the landscape scenic which adapts to our school' s main entrance space and the improvement method about the pedestrian space of the Global campus to congratulate of our university's 60th anniversary.

Finally we finish up this plan. However, realization of the Masterplan need a lot of financial resources, much times and phases in improvement. Especially, our school needs symbolized business in 2009 due to school of 60th anniversary. So we made a plan that to construct by design which is going to reshape campus's main road and westside afforest place for future. As a result, purpose of research is to improve an atmosphere conducive to academic pursuit, to show up greatness of school and to deal with changing school's environment rapidlly. That is why the Masterplan is trying to find school of superb scenic and developing of environment to congratulate of our school's 60th anniversary main approach and walking spaces.
Orthogonal 방법을 통한 Poly(AM-DMDAAC)/MMT 고흡수성나노복합체 제조 연구

A novel poly(AM-DMDAAC)/MMT superabsorbent nanocomposites are prepared by radical polymerizationusing ammonium persulfate (APS) and anhydrous sodium sulfite as a free radical initiator and N,N-methylene bisacrylamide(MBA) as a crosslinker. In this paper, an optimization study on the synthesis of superabsorbent nanocompositesis carried out. Orthogonal array experiment indicates that the optimized conditions is acrylamide (AM) content 23 wt%,diallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (DMDAAAC) content 6 wt%, montmorillonite (MMT) content 4 wt%, initiatorcontent 0.2 wt% and crosslinker content 0.02 wt%. Under the optimization syntheses conditions concluded, the maximumwater absorbency in distilled water is 659.53 g·g-1 and in 2 wt% sodium chloride solution is 116.25 g·g-1. Compared withthe range values of different factors (Rj), the order of significance factors in distilled water is C (MMT) > B (DMDAAC)> A (AM) > D (crosslinker) > E (initiator). MMT is intercalated during polymerization reaction and a nanocompositestructure is formed as shown by TEM analysis and XRD analysis.

As an important part of the marine propulsion system, the water-lubricated stern bearing has a major impact onship safety. In order to improve the reliability of water-lubricated stern bearing under actual working conditions, hydrophilicPVA fibers were added to a typical water-lubricated bearing material, the thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), to fabricateTPU/PVA fiber composites. The sliding friction-wear test, under water-lubricated conditions, of the TPU composites/QSn7-0.2 friction pairs were analyzed using a designed testing apparatus. The friction coefficients, worn surfaces and the wearlosses from the test samples were examined. The results revealed that the addition of appropriate hydrophilic PVA fibers caneffectively improve the tribological properties of TPU materials. The hydrophilic PVA fibers not only improved the affinityand the material surface storage ability to water medium but also absorbed water and formed swelling convex texture underwater environment, thereby enhanced the hydrodynamic lubrication effect. When the mass fraction of PVA fiber reached15 % or more, the debris gathered under the action of loading and fiber connection, formed solid lubrication film. Thus, iteffectively improved the self-lubrication performance of the material. But that is not conducive to the tribologicalperformances of the composites when the mass fraction of PVA fiber reached 30 %. Generally, the materials with 15 % to20 % PVA fiber content showed better tribological properties under the experimental conditions. This work provides a newidea for the research of new water-lubricated bearing materials.
Adaptive Sampling for ECG Detection Based on Compression Dictionary

This paper presents an adaptive sampling method for electrocardiogram (ECG) signal detection. First, by employing the strings matching process with compression dictionary, we recognize each segment of ECG with different characteristics. Then, based on the non-uniform sampling strategy, the sampling rate is determined adaptively. As the results of simulation indicated, our approach reconstructed the ECG signal at an optimized sampling rate with the guarantee of ECG integrity. Compared with the existing adaptive sampling technique, our approach acquires an ECG signal at a 30% lower sampling rate. Finally, the experiment exhibits its superiority in terms of energy efficiency and memory capacity performance.

Hexagonal molybdenum trioxide (h-MoO3) nanoparticles with a particle size of several tens of nanometers were prepared from sodium molybdate (Na2MoO4) using hydrothermal synthesis and ultrasonication. The morphology, structure, composition, and chemical states of the nanoparticles were characterized by x-ray diffraction,field-emission scanning electron microscopy, and Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy. Cyclic voltammetry results showed a strong reduction peak, which indicated a lithium ion insertion/extraction mechanism. The plateau observed in the first discharge curve around 1.8 V was in accordance with the above mechanism,which was also verified by differential capacity measurements. Cycling performance results showed that the capacity retention was up to 90% in the second cycle and that the irreversible capacities decreased with subsequent cycles.

Purpose This study aimed to investigate the potential systemic antitumor effects of stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR) and apatinib (a novel vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 inhibitor) via reversing the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment for lung carcinoma. Materials and Methods Lewis lung cancer cells were injected into C57BL/6 mice in the left hindlimb (primary tumor; irradiated) and in the right flank (secondary tumor; nonirradiated). When both tumors grew to the touchable size, mice were randomly divided into eight treatment groups. These groups received normal saline or three distinct doses of apatinib (50 mg/kg, 150 mg/kg, and 200 mg/kg) daily for 7 days, in combination with a single dose of 15 Gy radiotherapy or not to the primary tumor. The further tumor growth/regression of mice were followed and observed. Results For the single 15 Gy modality, tumor growth delay could only be observed at the primary tumor. When combining SABR and apatinib 200 mg/kg, significant retardation of both primary and secondary tumor growth could be observed, indicated an abscopal effect was induced. Mechanism analysis suggested that programmed death-ligand 1 expression increased with SABR was counteract by additional apatinib therapy. Furthermore, when apatinib was combined with SABR, the composition of immune cells could be changed. More importantly, this two-pronged approach evoked tumor antigen–specific immune responses and the mice were resistant to another tumor rechallenge, finally, long-term survival was improved. Conclusion Our results suggested that the tumor microenvironment could be managed with apatinib, which was effective in eliciting an abscopal effect induced by SABR.
