Kwon, Jongkyum,Pyo, Sung-Soo The Honam Mathematical Society Vol.40 No.4
Abstract of the article can be written hereAbstract of the article can be written here. Recently, several authors have studied the symmetric identities for special functions(see [3,5-11,14,17,18,20-22]). In this paper, we study the symmetric identities of the degenerate modified q-Euler polynomials under the symmetric group.
2014 Journal for history of mathematics Vol.27 No.5
The purpose of this study is to assess the changes that occur to pre-service mathematics teachers by using survey on the self-reflection during their education practices. For four weeks of the education practice period, the changes to pre-service teachers are analyzed from teaching and learning perspectives. The teaching perspective is sub-categorized into lesson contents, teaching methods, and evaluation on teaching, and the learning perspective is sub-categorized into monitoring on learning, support for learning and evaluation on learning. The analysis shows that significant changes occur in teaching contents from the teaching perspective and in all the sub-categories from the learning perspective. Based on the analysis, preservice teachers are suggested to utilize self-reflection programs during their education practices to promote their professionalism in teaching.
Changes in Classroom Actions of In-Service Middle School Mathematics Teachers Due to Self-Evaluation
Ryoo, Ji Hoon,Kwon, Jongkyum,Lee, Dong Yub The International Promotion Agency of Culture Tech 2018 International Journal of Advanced Culture Technolo Vol.6 No.4
This research examines the impact of teachers' self-evaluation on their classroom interactions with students. Changes in class behavior were analyzed by following two experienced middle school teachers for one semester of self-evaluation, comparing their classes at the beginning and end of the semester. A qualitative research method was adopted to take, a deeper look at the effect of changes in the teachers' in class actions. Both of the teachers reported positive effects of implementing self-evaluation on their teaching pedagogy, focusing specifically on their interactions with students when asking question and giving feedback. By the end of semester, they were asking broader questions that encouraged their students to engage in deeper thought and, when giving feedback, the class atmosphere was much brighter with better communication due to the positive reinforcement provided. This research supports research into ways to enhance teachers' expertise and improve their teaching via self-evaluation, centering on teachers' actions in the classroom.
A NOTE ON DEGENERATE LAH-BELL POLYNOMIALS ARISING FROM DERIVATIVES
2021 Nonlinear Functional Analysis and Applications Vol.26 No.4
Recently, Kim-Kim introduced Lah-Bell polynomials and numbers, and investigated some properties and identities of these polynomials and numbers. Kim studied Lah-Bell polynomials and numbers of degenerate version. In this paper, we study degenerate Lah-Bell polynomials arising from differential equations. Moreover, we investigate the phenomenon of scattering of the zeros of these polynomials.
SOME IDENTITIES OF CARLITZ'S TYPE DEGENERATE q-CHANGHEE POLYNOMIALS AND NUMBERS
2021 Proceedings of the Jangjeon mathematical society Vol.24 No.1
Recently several authors have studied the degenerate q-special polynomials related to Carlitz's degenerate polynomials. In this paper, we introduce the Carlitz's type degenerate q-Changhee numbers and polynomials. And, we study some explicit identities and properties for the Carlitz's type degenerate q-Changhee numbers and polynomials arising from p-adic q-integral on Zp.

This study was subjected to 9th graders after making a conformity analysis about errors in function from a selected linear function domain learned in 8th grade, and using this we analyzed some errors learners have in the linear function domain. Learners showed the most deficiency in mastery of prerequisite facts concepts out of errors in linear functions and lack of skill in interpreting the content of the questions and technical errors occurred often as well. How the pre-service secondary school teachers prescribed these errors of linear function was analyzed from the point of problem solving strategies, accessing methods and whether or not the learner's error was used. Looking into the pre-service secondary teachers' prescription of the learners' errors in 3 fields, for the problem solving strategy a procedural strategy was used more than a conceptual strategy, and as for the accessing methods over 90% gave teacher led type explanations to the students. Also over 90% of pre-service secondary teachers did not use the learner's errors that turned up in problems.
Vol.18 No.21
The purpose of this study was to analyze the cognitive characteristics and errors of elementary school students in the second grade of elementary school. In order to solve the research problems, the curriculum was first analyzed and the cognitive characteristics of the contents were extracted. After setting the goals according to the items, questionnaires were prepared and put into the research subjects. The results were analyzed based on the percentage of correct answers and wrong answers of the questionnaires collected, and some students were selected to conduct a focus group interview(FGI) to further analyze the errors in the problem solving process. As a result of the study, it was found that the elapsed time problem solving was not only difficult for the 3rd grade students but also for the 6th grade students. In relation to solving the elapsed time problem, we have confirmed errors in subtracting small numbers from large numbers, errors in time representation, and errors due to 24 hour conversion requests.
