Foreign Detection based on Wavelet Transform Algorithm with Image Analysis Mechanism in The Inner Wall of The Tube

        Jinlong Zhu,Fanhua Yu,Mingyu Sun,Dong Zhao,Qingtian Geng 한국정보처리학회 2019 Journal of information processing systems Vol.15 No.1

A method for detecting foreign substances in mould based on scatter grams was presented to protect mouldsautomatically during moulding production. This paper proposes a wavelet transform foreign detection methodbased on Monte Carlo analysis mechanism to identify foreign objects in the tube. We use the Monte Carlomethod to evaluate the image, and obtain the width of the confidence interval by the deviation statistical grayhistogram to divide the image type. In order to stabilize the performance of the algorithm, the high-frequencyimage and the low-frequency image are respectively drawn. By analyzing the position distribution of the pixelgray in the two images, the suspected foreign object region is obtained. The experiments demonstrate theeffectiveness of our approach by evaluating the labeled data.

Novel Mutations in CYP51B from Penicillium digitatum Involved in Prochloraz Resistance

        Jinlong Wang,Jinhui Yu,Jing Liu,Yongze Yuan,Na Li,Muqing He,Ting Qi,Geng Hui,Li Xiong,Deli Liu 한국미생물학회 2014 The journal of microbiology Vol.52 No.9

Green mold caused by Penicillium digitatum is one of themost serious postharvest diseases of citrus fruit, and it isubiquitous in all citrus growing regions in the world. Sterol14α-demethylase (CYP51) is one of the key enzymes of sterolbiosynthesis in the biological kingdom and a prime targetof antifungal drugs. Mutations in CYP51s have been foundto be correlated with resistance to azole fungicides in manyfungal species. To investigate the mechanism of resistance toprochloraz (PRC) in P. digitatum, the PRC sensitivity wasdetermined in vitro in this study to assess the sensitivity of78 P. digitatum isolates collected in Hubei province. Theresults showed that 25 isolates were prochloraz-resistant(PRC-R), including six high-resistant (HR) strains, twelvemedium-resistant (MR) and seven low-resistant (LR) strains. A sequence analysis showed no consistent point mutationsof PdCYP51A in the PRC-R strains, but four substitutionsof CYP51B were found, Q309H in LR strains, Y136H andQ309H in HR strains, and G459S and F506I in MR strains, which corresponded to the four sensitivity levels. Based onthe sequence alignment analysis and homology modelingfollowed by the molecular docking of the PdCYP51B protein, the potential correlation between the mutations and PRC resistance is proposed.

        Jinlong Zhu,Fanhua Yu,Guangjie Liu,Mingyu Sun,Dong Zhao,Qingtian Geng,Jinbo Su 한국정보처리학회 2020 Journal of information processing systems Vol.16 No.5

A convolution neural networks (CNNs) has demonstrated outstanding performance compared to otheralgorithms in the field of face recognition. Regarding the over-fitting problem of CNN, researchers haveproposed a residual network to ease the training for recognition accuracy improvement. In this study, a novelface recognition model based on game theory for call-over in the classroom was proposed. In the proposedscheme, an image with multiple faces was used as input, and the residual network identified each face with aconfidence score to form a list of student identities. Face tracking of the same identity or low confidence weredetermined to be the optimisation objective, with the game participants set formed from the student identitylist. Game theory optimises the authentication strategy according to the confidence value and identity set toimprove recognition accuracy. We observed that there exists an optimal mapping relation between face andidentity to avoid multiple faces associated with one identity in the proposed scheme and that the proposedgame-based scheme can reduce the error rate, as compared to the existing schemes with deeper neural network.

Optimal Adaptive Multiband Spectrum Sensing in Cognitive Radio Networks

( Long Yu ),( Qihui Wu ),( Jinlong Wang ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2014 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.8 No.3

In this paper, optimal sensing time allocation for adaptive multiband spectrum sensing-transmission procedure is investigated. The sensing procedure consists of an exploration phase and a detection phase. We first formulate an optimization problem to maximize the throughput by designing not only the overall sensing time, but also the sensing time for every stage in the exploration and detection phases, while keeping the miss detection probability for each channel under a pre-defined threshold. Then, we transform the initial non-convex optimization problem into a convex bilevel optimization problem to make it mathematically tractable. Simulation results show that the optimized sensing time setting in this paper can provide a significant performance gain over the previous studies.

Inhibition of BMP signaling overcomes acquired resistance to cetuximab in oral squamous cell carcinomas

        Yin, Jinlong,Jung, Ji-Eun,Choi, Sun Il,Kim, Sung Soo,Oh, Young Taek,Kim, Tae-Hoon,Choi, Eunji,Lee, Sun Joo,Kim, Hana,Kim, Eun Ok,Lee, Yu Sun,Chang, Hee Jin,Park, Joo Yong,Kim, Yeejeong,Yun, Tak,Heo, K Elsevier 2018 Cancer letters Vol.414 No.-

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Despite expressing high levels of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), a majority of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) patients show limited response to cetuximab and ultimately develop drug resistance. However, mechanism underlying cetuximab resistance in OSCC is not clearly understood. Here, using a mouse orthotopic xenograft model of OSCC, we show that bone morphogenic protein-7-phosphorylated Smad-1, -5, -8 (BMP7-p-Smad1/5/8) signaling contributes to cetuximab resistance. Tumor cells isolated from the recurrent cetuximab-resistant xenograft models exhibited low EGFR expression but extremely high levels of p-Smad1/5/8. Treatment with the bone morphogenic protein receptor type 1 (BMPRI) inhibitor, DMH1 significantly reduced cetuximab-resistant OSCC tumor growth, and combined treatment of DMH1 and cetuximab remarkably reduced relapsed tumor growth <I>in vivo</I>. Importantly, p-Smad1/5/8 level was elevated in cetuximab-resistant patients and this correlated with poor prognosis. Collectively, our results indicate that the BMP7-p-Smad1/5/8 signaling is a key pathway to acquired cetuximab resistance, and demonstrate that combination therapy of cetuximab and a BMP signaling inhibitor as potentially a new therapeutic strategy for overcoming acquired resistance to cetuximab in OSCC.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> BMP7-p-Smad1/5/8 signaling contributes to cetuximab resistance in OSCC. </LI> <LI> DMHI, a BMP signaling inhibitor, reduced cetuximab-resistant OSCC tumor growth. </LI> <LI> Combined treatment of DMH1 and cetuximab significantly reduced relapsed tumor growth <I>in vivo.</I> </LI> <LI> p-Smad1/5/8 overexpression in OSCC patients was associated with poor disease free survival. </LI> </UL> </P>

Route Optimization Algorithm Based on Game Theory for Tourism Routes at Pseudo-Imperial Palace

( Guangjie Liu ),( Jinlong Zhu ),( Qiucheng Sun ),( Jiaze Hu ),( Hao Yu ) 한국정보처리학회 2021 Journal of information processing systems Vol.17 No.5

With improvements in living conditions, an increasing number of people are choosing to spend their time traveling. Comfortable tour routes are affected by the season, time, and other local factors. In this paper, the influencing factors and principles of scenic spots are analyzed, a model used to find the available routes is built, and a multi-route choice model based on a game theory utilizing a path recommendation weight is developed. A Monte Carlo analysis of a tourist route subjected to fixed access point conditions is applied to account for uncertainties such as the season, start time, end time, stay time, number of scenic spots, destination, and start point. We use the Dijkstra method to obtain multiple path plans and calculate the path evaluation score using the Monte Carlo method. Finally, according to the user preference in the input path, game theory generates path ordering for user choice. The proposed approach achieves a state-of-the-art performance at the pseudo-imperial palace. Compared with other methods, the proposed method can avoid congestion and reduce the time cost.

Characterization of genes coding for galacturonosyltransferaselike (GATL) proteins in rice

        Shaobo Li,Jinlong Liu,Mansi Luo,Xin Yan,Chao Yu 한국유전학회 2016 Genes & Genomics Vol.38 No.10

In the present study, seven galacturonosyltransferase- like (GATL) genes (OsGATLs) in rice (Oryza sativa L.) were genome-widely identified and the chromosomal locations and the gene structures of which were characterized. Under normal condition, OsGATL2 and OsGATL3 are highly expressed in root, while OsGATL4 is highly expressed in stem and leaf. Many cis-elements related to stress response and plant hormone were found in the promoter sequence of each OsGATL. The expression patterns of these OsGATL genes under treatment with abscisic acid (ABA), drought and low temperature were assessed by qRT-PCR. The expression levels of most OsGATLs significantly increased following the treatments with drought or low temperature. In addition, physicochemical properties of OsGATLs and phylogenetic analysis with GATL from rice and several other species were performed. 3D structures and protein–protein interaction (PPI) network of OsGATLs were further predicted by Swiss-model and STRING 9.0 database, respectively. The identification and bioinformatic analysis of GATL family in rice could provide reference data for further study on their biological functions, especially in the responsiveness to hormones and stress signaling.

Combined Effect of a Laser Cladded Coating and Surface Texture on Tribological Performance Under Dry Sliding and Starved Lubrication

        Chenfeng Qiao,Jing Yu,Shuai Zhang,Zhengda Liu,Jinlong Wang 대한금속·재료학회 2022 METALS AND MATERIALS International Vol.28 No.3

Fe-based alloy coating was laser cladded on gray cast iron using Ni-Cu alloy as an intermediate layer. The cross section ofthe laser cladded coating was characterized by optical microscopy (OM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) equippedwith energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and a Vickers hardness tester. A microdimple texturewas created by reciprocating an electrolyte jet with prefabricated mask (REJP) machining on an Fe-based alloy coating. Thetribological performances of untextured and textured coatings were examined through interrupted wear tests using an in-housedeveloped reciprocating ball-on-plate tribotester under dry sliding and starved lubricated conditions. The results show thatthe presence of microdimple edges in the nonconformal contact region has a detrimental effect on the friction performanceunder dry sliding. However, the microdimples can be beneficial for trapping debris to preserve a smoother contacting surfaceand thus a lower volume wear track compared to untextured coatings. Due to its role in oil reservoirs and debris entrapment, the microdimple textured coating can maintain a low friction coefficient for a long time period after lubricant oil cutoff andresults in a lower volume wear track under starved lubrication.

Green Fabrication of Anti-friction Slippery Liquid-Infused Metallic Surface with Sub-millimeter-Scale Asymmetric Bump Arrays and Its Application

        Zhongxu Lian,Yi Cheng,Jinkai Xu,Jinlong Xu,Wanfei Ren,Yanling Tian,Huadong Yu 한국정밀공학회 2023 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.10 No.5

In this work, we present a simple technique for green fabrication of slippery liquid-infused surface (SLIS) with anti-friction property on various metallic substrates using wire electrical discharge machining. Micro-crater structures were successfully obtained, and the surface had excellent liquid-repellent property after modification and infusion of silicone oil. A wide range of liquids including water, juice, coffee, tea, vinegar, albumin, glycerol, and ketchup could easily slid down the surface tilted at an angle of 10° without leaving any trace. The influences of the number of cutting step on the morphology and wettability of the surface were studied comprehensively. Further, the tribological properties of the surface were analyzed and the results showed that the SLIS had a decrease of 73.2% in friction coefficient as compared to that of the smooth surface. By studying the morphology of the worn surfaces, it is found that the SLIS had slight abrasive wear behavior. To demonstrate the precision processing ability of this technology, we fabricated slippery sub-millimeter-scale asymmetric bump arrays, and the experiment results showed that the asymmetric bump arrays had excellent water harvesting ability at low temperatures. This kind of environment-friendly precision machining technology will promote the practical applications of metallic functional materials.
