        연세대학교 삼애교회의 현황과 비전, 그리고 삼애정신의 구현

        The Sam-ae Church was founded on September 17, 2006 to meet one of the six conditions suggested by the bereaved family of Rev. Pai Minsoo who donated the Sam-ae Technical Institute of Agriculture to Yonsei University. The six conditions are as follows: 1) to foster a rural leadership based on the Sam-ae Spirit; 2) to establish Pai Minsoo Memorial Library; 3) to extend the classrooms of the Sam-ae Technical Institute of Agriculture; 4) to found Pai Minsoo Interdenominational Memorial Church; 5) to maintain the graveyard of Rev. Pai Minsoo; 6) to administer the existing educational programs by the Sam-ae Technical Institute of Agriculture. The Sam-ae Church is one of the two interdenominational churches of Yonsei University. The church has been growing since its establishment through the interaction between the Sam-ae Spirit initiated by the late Rev. Pai Minsoo and the Christian identity of Yonsei University. The first senior pastor of the church is Rev. Jeong Se Park, succeeded by the present senior pastor, Rev. Chong Hun Jeong. Both of them serve as chaplains in the office of chaplaincy at Yonsei University. As of September 2011, the church has approximately 100 adult members in the congregation and around 20 kids in the Sunday School. It became financially independent since 2010, the fouth year after its establishment. The Sam-ae Church carries its mission on the basis of its four vision statements; 1) to promote ecumenism in the faith community as “one, holy, universal, and apostolic church”; 2) to provide a democratic and reformed model for the churches in Korea; 3) to reinterpret and implant theSam-ae Spirit of Rev. Pai Minsoo in the context of the current Korean society; 4) to actively support the campus mission at Yonsei University. The Sam-ae church is striving to embody the Sam-ae spirit of Rev. Pai Minsoo represented by the ensuing three loves; 1) “the love of God” - to restore the relationship with God and to deepen it; 2) “the love of rural community” - to love our neighbors in areas suffering from poverty; 3) “the love of labor”- to design and develop a variety of practical activities participated by all the members of the church to serve people. The Same-ae Church is different from other existing churches in that it emphasizes on building up its relationship with the following four communities to fulfill its mission; 1) the local community of the church; 2) the United Graduate School of Theology at Yonsei University, which runs the Pai Minsoo Memorial Lecture and the Sam-ae Special Doctoral Program; 3) the head office of Yonsei University which is inseparable in the establishment of Sam-ae church; 4) the Korean Church in general beyond any particular denomination and local churches for the promotion of ecumenism.         동진강 수계 농업용수 수질평가

        This study was conducted to monitor the irrigation water qualities along Dong-Jin river watershed. The water quality was surveyed at 6 sites from April to september during 1994∼1998. And the results were as follows : In July and August, water quality was better than that of any other months due to dilution with rainwater. Whereas, it became worse in April but it involved lower contents than limitted contents affected to the crop damage. Content of inorganic components was higher at Jeong-up and Won-pyeong stream. The reason for it that Jeong-up stream was deteriorated with sewage water from Jeong-up city, and Won-pyeong stream has narrow width. Water quality in upstream of Dong-Jin river, was evaluated best conditions in all sampling sites. For investigated period, water quality got worse from 1994 to 1995 but it was getting better to 1998 after 1995, especially at Jeong-up stream. The total equivalent of cation and anion was the highest at April through all months and at Jeong-up stream in sampling sites. Equivalent ratio of cation to anions(∑C/∑A) was higher at May than any other months and lower at Won-pyeong streams than any other sites. The value of most inorganic components was highly correlated with those of other components. But the value of NO₃^--N was not correlated with that of most components, and PO₄^(3-)-P was not correlated with COD, NH₄^+-N, NO₃^--N, SO₄^(2-_.

        Rapid Consolidation of WC‑ZrSiO4 Hard Materials by Spark Plasma Sintering: Microstructure, Densification, and Mechanical Properties

        Densely consolidated WC-based hard materials with 5–20 vol% ZrSiO4was fabricated by spark plasma sintering at 1400 ℃ ata constant heating rate of 70 ℃/min−1. To achieve mechanical alloying of WC-ZrSiO4, planetary ball milling was carried outfor 12 h, during which the brittle-brittle components (WC-ZrSiO4) became fragmented and their particles became refined. Itwas observed that certain, specific, non-isothermal sintering kinetics, such as apparent activation energy, sintering exponents,and densification strain, affected the densification behavior. The evolution of phase structure from powder to compact wasfound to be related the lattice distortion and micro-strain in the basal planes of WC. By examining the mechanical propertiesof the samples, it was that the added zircon content leads to enhanced fracture toughness (12.9 MPa m1/2) owing to thepresence of WC-ZrSiO4 in the cemented carbide. In fact, the microcrack propagation of the fracture passed through zirconfrom a transgranular to a ductile component (fcc) where the crack tips could be absorbed.

Experts predict that the 21 century will be 'the Age of Information'. Informations that cover from the usual lifematters to the professional knowledges are provided in every seconds these days. Whether the informations are provided as spoken or written, they are expressed in language. Therefore we can feel how important is the language in human life. Now we are going to look through the meaning of the language, the ethical language and the relationship between the language and 'human becoming'. Then, we are going to make out the meaning of the Ten Commandments from a viewpoint of language and ethics. After we do that, we will be able to find some guidelines for wise use of language in these days. (Kwandong University)

But this society has his own identity. the language of this society is characterized by anonymity, monolog, immoderation, freedom and rapidity. While we want to solve problems of previous society, we must prepare for new problem of present information society. The information society is not made by new media, but by subjective men. In order to reinforce this understanding, we must inquire into the christian view over a human being. Then, christian ethics has to challenge on it's base men who make information society really.         Influence of Phase Composition in TiAlSiN Hard Coatings on the Evolution of Structure and Mechanical Properties

        The aim of this study is to investigate the structural evolution and mechanical properties of TiAlSiN coatings when processedby the arc ion plating method. To form a hard coating, Ti, Al, and Si powders were mechanically alloyed by planetary ballmilling; the powders were then densely compacted during a rapid sintering process into a ternary system coating, i.e. TiAlSi. The evolution of the structural phase from a powder to a compact material is dominated considerably by phase states suchas a supersaturated solid solution or intermetallic compounds. In the case of coating layers, the factors that determine thestructural evolution are associated with the phase stability of the nano-crystalline structure that in turn is associated withthe Ti/Al composition ratio. Motivated by this, we performed experiments to investigate the distribution of microstructures;the material’s binding energy, quantitative properties, transformation of crystal structure, and distribution of amorphous/crystalline were all recorded. In particular, the relationship between the physical and chemical properties during the coatingprocess is considered to be the dominant factor controlling the orientation and morphology of that zone (1, T, and 2). TheTiAlSiN coating layer was found to have hardness above 45 GPa and an adhesion above 100 N. In other words, understandingthe evolution and structure of TiAlSin helped us to produce a material with excellent properties that can be used as a hardcoating. Specifically, these properties were induced by a grain refinement of the nano-crystalline structure that correspondsto an increase in the silicon nitride contents.

        Effect of Mechanical Alloying on the Microstructural Evolution of Al60Cr30Si10 Alloys Processed by Spark Plasma Sintering

        In this study, Al, Cr and Si fine powders were alloyed by planetary ball milling to investigate their microstructural evolution,following their mechanical alloying behavior. The formation of Al(Cr) supersaturated solid solution by the Cr grainsembedded in Al-matrix, which contributed substitutional structure is discussed in relation to their structural evolution inaccordance with the distortion of a crystal lattice. The compacts of Al–Cr–Si alloys were prepared by rapid sintering withina short time by dense consolidation above the density of 99.9% as the formation of intermetallics, except in the case of thedistribution of single-phases induced by the Al-melting. The formation behavior of intermetallics was dominated by dependenceon the structures of the milled-powder and subsequent sintering temperature. To estimate the consolidated behaviorsof compacts, various approaches derived from TEM and XRD analysis were taken to obtain microstructural evidences ofthe inter-diffusion, following the presence of thermally stable intermetallics.

        16세기 『경민편(警民編)』 초기 간본의검토 - 상허 중앙도서관 소장본의 사례 -

        이글에서는 건국대학교 상허도서관에 소장 중인 『경민편』(상허본)을 통해 『경민편』 초기 간행본의 모습을 검토하였다. 학계에 아직 알려지지 않은 상허본은 한글 번역문이 실려 있지 않는 특성을 보이는데, 책의 간행 시점은 1579년 이전으로 판단된다. 1579년 허엽이 중간(重刊)한 간본이나 17세기 중엽 이후원이 개간(改刊)한 간본과 비교할 때, 원문이나 구결에서 이들 간본보다 앞서는 양상이 나타나기 때문이다. 한편 상허본은 황해도에서 간행된 김정국의 초간본과는 직접적인 연관은 없으며, 전라도 남원과 무장 등 황해도 바깥 지역에서 인쇄된 간본으로 추정된다. 상허본을 통해 필자는 문자적 구성과 관련하여 『경민편』이 진화되는 양상을 확인했다. 통상적인 이해와는 다르게, 『경민편』은 초기에는 한문으로만 원문을 구성했다가 16세기 후반에 이르러 한글 번역을 보완하는 변화를 보였다. 이를 통해 살핀다면, 초기 『경민편』이 나왔을 때 이 책은 그 보급을 가로막는 장애를 내부에 지니고 있었음을 알 수 있다. 실제 이 책을 읽고 해독할 수 있었던 독자층 또한 유식계층(有識階層)으로 한정되었으리라 추측할 수 있다. 『경민편』은 권력의 운용 방식을 주자학의 이념에 기초하여 전면적으로 전환하고자 했던 김정국과 기묘사림의 모습을 충실히 담고 있는 문헌이다. 상허본은 초기 『경민편』의 모습이 어떠했던지, 그리고 후대 『경민편』의 변화가 어떠한 방향으로 일어나는지를 살핌에 중요한 자료가 된다. In this article, the appearance of the early publications of 『Gyeongmin Pyeon』 was reviewed through 『Gyeongmin Pyeon』(Sangheo edition) held in the Sanghe Library of Konkuk University. The Sangheo edition, which is not yet known to the academic world, has the characteristic that Korean translations are not included. On the other hand, the Sangheo edition is not directly related to the first edition published in Hwanghae-do by Kim jeong-guk(金正國). Through the Sangheo edition, I confirmed that when 『Gyeongmin Pyeon』 was first published, it contained only the original Chinese text, but after the late 16th century, the Korean translation was supplemented. The Sangheo edition, which contains the appearance of the early 『Gyeongmin Pyeon』, is an important material for examining the direction in which the changes of the later 『Gyeongmin Pyeon』 occur.

        개에서 이중 결찰법을 통한 동맥관 개존증의 완치 예

        A ten months old, female Yorkshire terrier weighing 2.88 kg referred to veterinary teaching hospital of college of veterinary medicine, Konkuk University because of syncope, cough and dyspnea. First hematological and serum chemical test revealed thrombocytopenia, mild anemia, and increase of concentration of ALP (195 U/L). On 57 days later, second hematological and serum chemical test revealed polycythemia, increase of concentration of ALP (211 U/L), and Tchol (387 mg/dl). Right atrium enlargement, main pulmonary artery bulge and cardiomegaly (VHS = 11.5) were observed in radiographic findings. Ultrasonographic images showed both right and left ventricular dilation and turbulent flow between the descending aorta and the main pulmonary artery in color Doppler imaging. ECG showed left ventricular enlargement, SA block, and electrical alternant. Thoracotomy was performed through left fourth intercostal incision under isoflurane anesthesia. Patent ductus arteriosus was double ligated with 1-0 silk. Cough and dyspnea disappeared on 5 days after operation. Turbulent flow was not found in color doppler imaging of ultrasonography on 10 days after operation. Ten months later after the operation, syncope could not exist any more.

        교육과정 개정에 따른 과학의 본성 수준 및 반영 정도 분석 : 2009 개정 교육과정과 2015 개정 교육과정 사례 분석

        지난 수십 년간 과학의 본성의 중요성은 지속적으로 강조되어왔다. 본 연구에서는 2009 개정 교육과정에서 2015 개정 교육과정으로 교육과정이 개정됨에 따라 과학의 본성 반영정도와 그 수준이 어떻게 변화되고 있는지 알아보았다. Abd-El-Khalick et al. (2008)의 과학의 본성 정의를 반영하여 구성된 이정원 외(2016)의 NOSAT(Nature of Science analyzing tool) 분석틀을 이용하여 2009 개정 교육과정융합과학 교과서와 2015 개정교육과정 통합과학 교과서의 과학의 본성의 영역과 수준을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 융합과학과 통합과학 모두에서 가장 많이 나타난 과학의 본성 영역은 이론, 관찰추론, 사회문화로 나타났다. 두 교과서 모두에서 암시적인 관점의 서술의 비율이 명시적인 관점의 서술에 비해 높게 나타났다. 두 교과서의 과학의 본성을 서로 비교한 결과 각 출판사의 과학의 본성 서술 방향에 따라 과학의 본성의 빈도 및 명시성의 정도가 서로 다르게 나타났다. 교과서 집필방향에서 명시적인 서술이 더 증가하는 것이 필요하고, 일부 과학의 본성 영역에 편중되어 있는 현상을 줄이고 각 과학의 본성 영역이 균형 있게 배치되도록 하는 것이 필요할 것으로 보인다. Over the past decades, the importance of the nature of science has been emphasized. This study examined how the degree of reflection and the level of the nature of science (NOS) is advancing as the curriculum has been revised from ‘2009-revised-curriculum’ to ‘2015-revised-curriculum’. The area and level of the NOS in ‘Convergence-science’ of ‘2009-revised-curriculum’ and ‘Integrated-science’ of ‘2015-revised-curriculum’ were analyzed using the Nature of Science analyzing tool (NOSAT) which Lee Jeong-won et al. (2016) had made reflecting the definition of the NOS by Abd-El-Khalick et al. (2008). As a result of our analysis, the area of the NOS that appeared most in both ‘Convergence-science’ and ‘Integrated-science’ was ‘Theory’, ‘Inference’, and ‘Social and Cultural embeddedness’. In both textbooks of the curriculum, the proportion of implicit point of view was higher than that of explicit point of view. As a result of comparing the NOS in the textbooks, the frequency and the extent of the explicit descriptions of NOS differed according to the direction toward the nature of science of which each publisher writes. It is necessary to increase the number of explicit descriptions in the direction of textbook writing, and to reduce the phenomena that are biased toward the certain area of NOS and balance each area of NOS.
