High speed machining is one of most effective technologies to improve productivity. It can give great advantage for manufacture of die and Moulds. However, when the high speed machining of materials, especially in machining of micro groove, a severely thermal demage was generated on workpiece and tool. Generally, the cutting fluid is used to improve penetration, lubrication, and cooling effect. In order to rise the performance of lubrication, it contains extreme pressure agents (CI, S, P). But the environment of work room go bad by those additive. Therefore, the compressed chilly air with Oil mist system was developed to replace the conventional cutting fluid system. This paper carried out the tests to evaluate the machinability by the cutting environment in high speed micro groove machining of NAK80 (HRC40). Compressed chilly air with oil mist was ejected on the contact area between cutting edge and workpiece. The effectiveness of this developed compressed chilly air with oil mist system was evaluated in terms of tool life. The results showed that the tool life of carbide tool coated TiAIN with compressed chilly air mist cooling was much longer than with dry and flood coolant when cutting the material.

Background : In several studies, the rate of bone loss over the years did not differ between fractured and non-fractured women, and the initial bone mass was the better predictor of postmenopausal fractures. Before this study, there were few reports about peak bone mass and the affecting factors of those of adolescent age in Korea. Methods : We analysed the bone stiffness by Achilles bone densitometry of Lunar cooperation, menstrual history, nutritional study, amount of daily activity, anthropometry in 116 female middle school students (32 in premenarche group, 84 in postmenarche group) and 31 female college students. Results : 1) peak bone stiffness of Korean women was relatively lower than that of white women (94.0% of white women). 2) The rapid increase of the bone stiffness appears to be essentially restricted to short period (2~3 years) of perimenarcheal age. 3) In adolescent females without menstruation, the bone stiffness was always lower than that of those with menstruation. 4) The list of factors affecting to peak bone mass was similar to the risk factors of postmenopausal osteoporosis : diet, menstrual status and physical activity. 5) Calcium intake in Korean women at critical age was less than the recommended daily allowance of calcium intake in white women at same age (1200mg/day). Conclusion : Female bone mass does not seen to continue to substantially accumulate until the fourth decade. To improve any program aimed at maximizing peak bone mass, further intensive study about many factors affecting peak bone mass will be required.
특발성 과호산구성 증후군에 병발한 Immunotactoid Glomerulopathy

The immunotactoid glomerulopathy is a recently described entity characterized histologically by highly organized ultrastructural deposits that appears to be composed of immunoglobulin and complement and are negative for amyloid by Congo red stain. The idiopathic hypereosinophilic syndrome is a disease characterized by idiopathic eosinophilia in blood and eosinophilic infiltration of multiple organs. Although all organ systems can be virtually involved, renal involvement is rare. The authors have experienced a case of idiopathic hypereosinophilic syndrome in a 18-year-old male who showed asymptomatic proteinuria of nephrotic range. Renal biopsy revealed the findings of thickening of the glomerular capillary basement membranes and deposits within the capillary lumen by light microscopy. Immunofluoresence microscopy disclosed IgG and C3 in mesangial regions and capillary walls. Electron microscopy showed highly organized, fibrillary structures measuring about 20 nm in the mesangial matrix and basement membrane. Congo red staining for amyloid was negative. This case was thought to represent an instance of immunotactoid glomerulopathy.
