This study was conducted to identify irradiation-derived volatile components, having positive-correlation with irradiation doses, which may play roles as maker materials for detecting post-irradiation in pork meat. The volatile components of irradiated(0, 1, 3, 5 and 10 kGy doses) pork(Belly) meat was analyzed by liquid liquid continuous extraction(LLCE)/GC/MSD methods. By the results of linear regression analysis between irradiation doses and volatile component amounts in fresh pork, 3 compounds including γ-octalactone(r=0.82), 1-octen-3-ol(r=0.90) and butanoic acid(r=0.81) had high correlations with irradiation doses.

Bacillus cereus KCTC 3674 produced at least two kinds of extracellular proteases. Two major bands of the protease activity with molecular weights of approximately 100 and 38 kDa were obtained after gelatin-SDS-PAGE. The production of extracellular proteases occurred during the logarithmic growth phase and was greatest when cultures reached the stationary growth phase. On the other hand, the growth of B. cereus KCTC 3674 and the production of its extracellular proteases were severely inhibited by the addition of protonophore carbonylcyanide m-chlorophenylhydrazone (CCCP). Thus, it was concluded that the growth of B. cereus KCTC 3674 and the production of its extracellular pretenses were strongly affected by a H+ electrochemical potential.
평판 구조물의 진동 파워흐름해석을 위한 비보존 조인트 개발

In this paper, a general solution for the vibrational energy and intensity distribution through a compliant and dissipative joint between plate structures is derived on the basis of energy flow analysis (EFA). The joints are modeled by four sets of springs and dashpots to show their compliancy and dissipation in all four degrees of freedom. First, for the EFA, the power transmission and reflection coefficients for the joint on coupled plate structures connected at arbitrary angles were derived by the wave transmission approach. In numerical applications, EFA is performed using the derived coefficients for coupled plate structures under various joint properties, excitation frequencies, coupling angles, and internal loss factors. Numerical results of the vibrational energy distribution showed that the developed compliant and dissipative joint model successfully predicted the joint characteristics of practical structures vibrating in the medium-to-high frequency ranges. Moreover, the intensity distribution of a compliant and dissipative joint is described.

In this paper, the power flow analysis(PFA) method was developed to predict the vibrational responses of coupled co-planar orthotropic plates in frequencies ranging from medium to high. To cover the power transmission and reflection at the joint of the orthotropic plates, the wave transmission approach is applied with the assumption that all the incident waves are normal to the joint. Through numerical analyses, the power flow energy density and intensity fields of coupled co-planar orthotropic plates were compared with those of classical modal solutions by changing the frequency and internal loss factor, and they show good agreement in terms of the global decay and the attenuation patterns of the energy density.
Performance Evaluation of Wireless Networked Control System using Time-Triggered IEEE 802.15.4

This paper focuses on feasibility of the time-triggered IEEE 802.15.4 protocol to satisfy the network-based control systems(NCS) performance. The IEEE 802.15.4 protocol is considered to be unsuitable for industrial networksbecause its medium access control method is contention-based CSMA/CA, which exhibits unstable performance with an unbounded delay distribution under heavy traffic. To avoid these limitations, this paper presents a time-triggered version of the nonbeacon-enabled network of IEEE 802.15.4 that relies on a time division multiplexing access (TDMA) methodimplemented in the application layer without any modification of specification. This time-triggered IEEE 802.15.4 was implemented experimentally, and its control performance was compared with conventional IEEE 802.15.4 using NCStest bed. Based on the experimental results, the time-triggered IEEE 802.15.4 is a promising alternative for wireless industrial networking.
