현재 IT 환경은 빠른 서비스의 생성과 컴포넌트의 재활용성을 통하여 새로운 비즈니스 환경 변화에 가장 빠르게 대응하는 것이 중요하다. 따라서 기존 Legacy 시스템의 한계를 극복한 SOA(Service Oriented Architecture)가 각광받고 있다. 하지만 SOA와 같은 Web 기반 시스템의 경우 Legacy 시스템 측정에 알맞게 구축된 비용산정에 어려움을 겪고 있으며, 잘못된 비용 산정의 결과로 인하여 다수의 프로젝트가 실패하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 현재 국내 소프트웨어 개발 규모 산정을 위한 국제 표준인 FP(Function Point)를 통한 규모 산정 방식을 제안한다. 본 논문은 기존 FP방식이 사용자 중심의 기능 단위로 산정을 함에 따라 발생하는 문제점을 제시하고, 기존 산정 방식의 문제점을 개선한 연계 기능을 포함한 FP 산출 방법의 제안을 통하여 기존 FP에서 측정할 수 없었던 SOA 도메인의 특징을 반영한 FP의 산출이 가능하다. 이를 통하여 SOA 기반 시스템의 정확한 예산 측정이 가능하며, 프로젝트의 실패를 감소할 수 있다.

Introduction: How long persistent and stable ground-glass nodules (GGNs) should be followed is uncertain, although a minimum of 3 years is suggested. We evaluated a group of GGNs that had remained stable for an initial period of 3 years with the aim of determining the proportion of GGNs showing subsequent growth after the initial 3 years and identifying the clinical and radiologic factors associated with subsequent growth. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed patients who underwent further computed tomography (CT) after the initial 3-year follow-up period showing a persistent and stable GGN (at least 5 years of follow-up from the initial CT). Results: Between May 2003 and June 2015, 453 GGNs (438 pure GGNs and 15 part-solid GGNs) were found in 218 patients. Of the 218 patients, 14 had 15 GGNs showing subsequent growth after the initial 3 years during the median follow-up period of 6.4 years. For the person-based analysis, the frequency of subsequent growth of GGNs that had been stable during the initial 3 years was 6.7% (14 of 218). For the nodule-based analysis, the frequency was 3.3% (15 of 453). In a multivariate analysis, age 65 years or older (OR = 5.51, p = 0.012), history of lung cancer (OR = 6.44, p = 0.006), initial size 8 mm or larger (OR = 5.74, p = 0.008), presence of a solid component (OR = 16.58, p = 0.009), and air bronchogram (OR = 5.83, p = 0.015) were independent risk factors for subsequent GGN growth. Conclusions: For the individuals with GGNs having the aforementioned risk factors, the longer follow-up period is required to confirm subsequent GGN growth. 상기 초록은 J Thorac Oncol. 2016 Sep;11(9):1453-9에 출판된 논문의 초록임.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the short and medium effect of peripheral repetitive magnetic stimulation therapy on chronic low back pain compared with transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation therapy. MethodTwenty-three subjects with chronic low back pain were allocated randomly to repetitive magnetic stimulation group (n=13) and transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation group (n=10). Each treatment consisted of 10-minutes sessions each day, totally 10 sessions over 2 weeks. Subjects were evaluated pre-treatment and post-treatment at 8 hours and 2 weeks. Outcome was measured with the Oswestry disability index, McGill pain questionnaire, and daily mean pain numeric rating scale. ResultsAt 8 hours and 2 weeks post-treatment, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation therapy group showed a significant improvement in the mean pain numeric rating scale. Two weeks post-treatment, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation therapy group showed a significant improvement in the Oswestry disability index. But there were no significant therapeutic effect of repetitive magnetic stimulation therapy group at all period. ConclusionThis study showed that repetitive magnetic stimulation therapy may be less effective than transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation therapy for the treatment of chronic low back pain.

<P>Developing highly active and structurally robust electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) is of paramount importance for sustainable and clean production of hydrogen. Metal sulphides exposing catalytically active sites, in particular, have been actively pursued as advanced HER catalysts. Herein we report high-performance Rh2S3-based HER catalysts with excellent activity and durability. Hollow Rh2S3 hexagonal nanoprisms with controlled size and thickness could be conveniently prepared by one-step formation of core-shell nanoprisms followed by the etching of the core, and they show high surface areas and highly exposed edge sites. The hollow Rh2S3 nanoprisms exhibit very high HER activity and excellent stability under harsh acidic conditions.</P>

The effects of xylitol and/or erythritol as the alternative ingredients to sugar on the quality characteristics of Yuza tea were studied. The relative sweetness of xylitol and erythritol to a 10% sucrose solution were 1.10 and 0.71 respectively and there were no change after the addition of the acid and flavoring agent. The sensory characteristics of Yuza tea with xylitol were quite similar in many attributes to Yuza tea with sugar, while Yuza tea with erythritol had many undesirable attributes. Yuza tea with a mixture of xylitol and erythritol(1:1) was less sweet and less acceptable than Yuza tea with sugar. The consumer acceptance test showed that the overall acceptability of Yuza tea made with xylitol was similar to the Yuza tea with sugar. Adding sucralose to the Yuza tea with a mixture of xylitol and erythritol improved the sweetness and overall acceptability in the consumer acceptance test. The pH value of the erythritol Yuza tea was 3.16 and showed a significantly lower value than the 3.39 of sugar and xylitol. The refractive index of the sugar Yuza tea was the highest at 21.03°Bx. The vitamin C content of Yuzachung with sugar was 34.5mg/100g and the dietary fiber content was 2.80g/100g. Xylitol Yuzachung showed the highest a and b values, but when it was diluted with water to make Yuza tea, the intensity of the color was not significantly different from the Yuza tea with sugar.

<P>This letter proposes a novel medium reservation MAC protocol that reduces both end-to-end delay and energy consumption for wireless sensor networks. MRMAC reduces end-to-end delay by informing the intended receiver of NPAT (next packet arrival time) and MRI (medium reservation information) to reserve the medium in advance. Through this medium reservation phase, following packets can be delivered with reduced delay in multihop streaming phase. A simulation shows that the result of the proposed protocol outperforms previous works.</P>

To investigate density-dependent binding of glycans by lectins using carbohydrate microarrays, a number of C-terminal hydrazide-conjugated neoglycopeptides with various valences and different spatial arrangements of the sugar ligands were prepared on a solid support. The synthetic strategy includes (1) assembly of alkyne-linked peptides possessing C-terminal hydrazide on a solid support, (2) coupling of azide-linked, unprotected sugars to the alkyne-linked peptides on the solid support utilizing click chemistry, and (3) release of the neoglycopeptides from the solid support. By using this synthetic methodology, sixty five neoglycopeptides with a valency ranging from 1 to 4 and different spatial arrangements of the carbohydrate ligands were generated. Carbohydrate microarrays were constructed by immobilizing the prepared neoglycopeptides on the epoxide-derivatized glass slide and were used to analyze density-dependent binding of glycans by lectins. The results of binding property determinations show that lectin binding is highly dependent on the surface glycan density.
Efficient B-Mode Ultrasound Image Reconstruction From Sub-Sampled RF Data Using Deep Learning

<P>In portable, 3-D, and ultra-fast ultrasound imaging systems, there is an increasing demand for the reconstruction of high-quality images from a limited number of radio-frequency (RF) measurements due to receiver (Rx) or transmit (Xmit) event sub-sampling. However, due to the presence of side lobe artifacts from RF sub-sampling, the standard beamformer often produces blurry images with less contrast, which are unsuitable for diagnostic purposes. Existing compressed sensing approaches often require either hardware changes or computationally expensive algorithms, but their quality improvements are limited. To address this problem, in this paper, we propose a novel deep learning approach that directly interpolates the missing RF data by utilizing redundancy in the Rx–Xmit plane. Our extensive experimental results using sub-sampled RF data from a multi-line acquisition B-mode system confirm that the proposed method can effectively reduce the data rate without sacrificing the image quality.</P>
