개정된 제8판 American Joint Committee on Cancer 유방암병기 설정을 위한 Excel 프로그램 개발

Purpose: The eighth American Joint Committee on Cancer staging system for breast cancer was recently published to more accurately predict the prognosis by adding biomarkers such as estrogen receptors, progesterone receptors, and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2. However, this system is very complicated and difficult to use by clinicians. The authors developed a program to aid in setting up the staging system and confirmed its usefulness by applying it to theoretical combinations and actual clinical data. Methods: The program was developed using the Microsoft Excel Macro. It was used for the anatomic, clinical and pathological prognostic staging of 588 theoretical combinations. The stages were also calculated the stages using 840 patients with breast cancer without carcinoma in situ or distant metastasis who did not undergo preoperative chemotherapy. Results: The anatomic, clinical and pathological prognostic stages were identical in 240 out of 588 theoretical combinations. In the actual patients’ data, stages IB and IIIB were more frequent in clinical and pathological prognostic stages than in the anatomic stage. The anatomic stage was similar to the clinical prognostic stage in 58.2% and to the pathological prognostic stage in 61.9% of patients. Oncotype DX changed the pathological prognostic stage in 2.1% of patients. Conclusion: We developed a program for the new American Joint Committee on Cancer staging system that will be useful for clinical prognostic prediction and large survival data analysis.
P088 The impact of skin problems during chemotherapy on the quality of life in cancer patients

Objectives: To find out the effect of adverse cutaneous reactions to chemotherapeutics on the quality of life of the patients. Methods: From February 2016 to April 2016, patients from the outpatient office of Department of Internal Medicine, Seoul National University Cancer Hospital voluntarily took part in a set of questionnaire. Demographic factors, the diagnosis of cancer, the chemotherapeutic regimens, therapeutic period, skin problems, and Dermatology Life Quality Index were obtained. Results: A total of 227 patients (101 men and 126 women) under chemotherapy answered the questionnaire. Their mean age was 56.69±10.87 years. 150(66.1%) of them underwent treatment with classical chemotherapeutic agents. 14(6.6%) with targeted agents, and 46(20.3%) with combination of them. Patients with breast cancer had more distraction in daily life than non-breast cancer group (mean DLQI 4.81 vs. 3.03, P=0.009). And also patients were likely to have more problems when they took chemotherapy for a longer period of time (p=0.046). Conclusion: The extent of distraction in quality of life by skin problems during chemotherapy is associated with the type of diagnosis and therapeutic periods.

<P>A series of four polymers containing benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b']dithiophene (BDT) and 5,6-difluoro-4,7-diiodobenzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole (2FBT), PBDT2FBT, PBDT2FBT-O, PBDT2FBT-T, and PBDT2FBT-T-O, are synthesized with their four different side chains, alkyl-, alkoxy-, alkylthienyl-, and alkoxythienyl. Experimental results and theoretical calculations show that the molecular tuning of the side chains simultaneously influences the solubilities, energy levels, light absorption, surface tension, and intermolecular packing of the resulting polymers by altering their molecular coplanarity and electron affinity. The polymer solar cell (PSC) based on a blend of PBDT2FBT-T/[6,6]-phenyl-C-71-butyric acid methyl ester (PC71BM) exhibits the best photovoltaic performance of the four PBDT2FBT derivatives, with a high open-circuit voltage of 0.98 V and a power conversion efficiency of 6.37%, without any processing additives, post-treatments, or optical spacers. Furthermore, PBDT2FBT-T-O, which has a novel side chain alkoxythienyl, showed promising properties with the most red-shifted absorption and strong intermolecular packing property in solid state. This study provides insight into molecular design and fabrication strategies via structural tuning of the side chains of conjugated polymers for achieving highly efficient PSCs.</P>

Recently, the interest in the healthy is increased, the number of times for the diagnosis is increased, the radiation exposure is also increasing interest. As a result, the basic data for dental panoramic photography and its investigation and obtain a measure of the dose is needed. ALOKA PDM-117 dosimeter using a two-dimensional plane through experiments to evaluate the distribution of the dose, the patient's radiation dose to propose methods for the reduction. 최근 치아건강에 대한 관심이 커지며 진단을 위한 치아 방사선 검사의 횟수가 증가하고, 방사선 피폭에 대한 관심도 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 치아 방사선 검사에서 그 횟수가 점점 증가하고 있는 치과 파노라마 촬영장치에 대한 기본 데이터 확보와 이에 대한 조사 및 선량의 측정이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 ALOKA PDM-117 dosimeter를 이용하여 바텍제품(VATEC Pax-400)의 치과파노라마에서 발생되는 X-ray의 선량분포를 실험을 통해 2차원적인 평면 선량분포도를 측정하고 그 분포에 대한 평가를 환자의 방사선피폭 차원에서 확인하고, 환자의 피폭선량 감소를 위한 방법을 제시하고자 한다.
