The Purpose of this study was to the relationship between type of sports activity and leisure satisfaction among collegiate. The main purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the type in sports activity on leisure satisfaction by comparing the difference of psychological, educational, social, physiological, relaxational, and environmental satisfaction. Subjects of this study were sampled 696 the collegiate(392 male, 301 female) by the random sampling method. The method of statistics used to analysis the collected data are frequence, covariance analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and path analysis using multiple regression analysis. Based on the procedures and results, the following conclusions were warranted; 1. Background variables such as sex, income, and self-rated health among sociodemographic characteristics in fluence on leisure satisfaction. 2. The type of sports at activity among the collegiate has an influence on the psychological satisfaction. That is, difference in psychological satisfaction according to the type of sports of sports activity, and individual event is the highest. 3. The type of sports activity among the collegiate has an influence on the social satisfaction. That Is, difference in social satisfaction according to the type of sports of sports activity, and team is the highest. 4. The type of sports activity among the collegiate has an influence on the social satisfaction. That is, difference in educational satisfaction according to the type of sports of sports activity, and team is the highest. 5. The type of sports activity among the collegiate has an influence on the physiological satisfaction. That is, difference in physiological satisfaction according to the type of sports of sports activity, and team is the highest. 6. The type of sports activity among the collegiate has an influence on the relaxational satisfaction. That is, difference in relaxational satisfaction according to the type of sports of sports activity, and leisure event is the highest. 7. The type of sports activity among the collegiate has no an influence on the environmental sati satisfaction.

본 논문은 고객만족에 관한 문헌연구를 통하여 고객만족에 관한 내용 및 고객만족의 선행변수와 고객만족의 결과변수에 대해 살펴보고 이를 토대로 기업의 고객만족도 제고방안을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 고객만족에 관한 문헌연구를 위하여 관련 논문집 등에 게재된 국내외 논문들을 검토하였으며, 고객만족을 결정짓는 변수에 대한 이론적 근거로서 제품성과에 관한 이론으로서 동화이론, 대조이론, 동화-대조이론, 부조화이론을 검토하였으며, 고객만족의 비교기준에 관한 이론으로서 기대-불일치 모델과 비교수준이론을 검토하였다. 고객만족의 결과변수로는 불평행동, 구전 및 반복구매 행동을 검토하였다. 이와 아울러 고객만족에 관한 실증연구를 검토하였는데, 판매원의 판매지향성과 고객지향성에 관한 실증연구를 비롯하여 판매원의 속성에 관한 실증연구를 고객만족의 선행변수에 대한 실증연구로 검토하였으며, 고객만족의 결과변수에 대한 실증연구도 검토하였다. 마지막으로 연구결과의 시사점과 연구의 한계점 및 미래연구를 위한 연구방향을 제시하였다.
형질 전환된 Saccharomyces cerevisiae의 leucocin A항균 활성도에 대한 탄소원의 영향

B. subtilis에 대한 항균 활성을 파악하기 위하여 bacteriocin의 일종인 leucocin A로 형질전환된 효모를 배양 시간별로 채취하여 광학밀도, 총 분비 단백질량, 단백질 분해효소 그리고 향균활성을 측정했다. Sucrose > glycerol > glucose > fructose 순으로 세포 증식이 높게 확인되었고, glyceroldmf 제외한 탄소원에서 총분비 단백질은 배양 15 시간까지 증가되었다. Leucocin A의 향균활성(antibacterial activity)은 성장양상, 총 분비 단백질과 비례 하였으며 배양 15 시간에 glucose와 sucrose에서 배양한 상등액이 B. subtilis 성장을 가각 $65.5\%$, $72.6\%$ 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 정지기 이후에는 향균활성이 급속히 감소하였는데, 이는 항균활성을 보이는 leucocin A가 단백질이고, 단백질 분해효소가 정지기 이후 증가한 것에 의한 것으로 사료된다. 본 연구는 향후 식품산업뿐만 아니라 항생제 생산 사용되기 위한 산업적 기초 자료로써 이용 될 것이다. The aim of this study was to increase production of leucocin A, a kind of bacteriocin, in a transformed variety of S. cerevisiae. We investigated optical density, total secreted protein, protease activity, and antibacterial activity for the transformed S. cerevisiae in different carbon sources. The production of leucocin A growth-associated, and antibacterial activity, according to carbon source, was in the order of sucrose, glucose, glycerol, and fructose. Antibacterial activity was $10.6\%$ higher in the presence of sucrose than glucose. This is the first report regarding the effect of carbon sources on the production of leucocin A in transformed S. cerevisiae, as far as we ascertain. Our results could prove useful in the industrial production of natural preservatives.

Background: Alcoholic steatosis is the earliest and most common liver disease, and may precede the onset of more severe forms of liver injury. Methods :The effect of Korean Red Ginseng extract (RGE) was tested in two murine models of ethanol(EtOH)-feeding and EtOH-treated hepatocytes. Results: Blood biochemistry analysis demonstrated that RGE treatment improved liver function. Histo-pathology and measurement of hepatic triglyceride content verified the ability of RGE to inhibit fat accumulation. Consistent with this, RGE administration downregulated hepatic lipogenic gene induction and restored hepatic lipolytic gene repression by EtOH. The role of oxidative stress in the pathogenesis of alcoholic liver diseases is well established. Treatment with RGE attenuated EtOH-induced cytochrome P450 2E1, 4-hydroxynonenal, and nitrotyrosine levels, Alcohol consumption also decreased phosphor-ylation of adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase, which was restored by RGE. Moreover, RGE markedly inhibited fat accumulation in EtOH-treated hepatocytes, which correlated with a decrease in sterol regulatory element-binding protein-1 and a commensurate increase in sirtuin 1 and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-a expression. Interestingly, the ginsenosides RB2 and Rd, but not Rb1, significantly inhibited fat accumulation in hepatocytes. Conclusion: These results demonstrate that RGE and its ginsenoside components inhibit alcoholic stea-tosis and liver injury by adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase/sirtuin 1 actication both in vivo and in vitro, suggesting that RGE may have a potential to treat alcoholic liver disease. Acute Toxicity Study of Modified Je-Ho-Tang in ICR Mice

Previous studies have shown that modified Je-Ho-Tang (MJHT) has anti-platelet effects. Je-Ho-Tang (JHT), a Korean court beverage, is a traditional Korean herbal medicine that has been used for the treatment of a disease attended by great thirst, and for prevention of illness in hot summers. We made MJHT from JHT by excluding honey. The present study was performed to determine the acute oral toxicity of crude extract of MJHT in male and female ICR mice. We investigated the in vivo single dose acute toxicity of MJHT hot-water extraction. This test was orally administered once by gavage to 20 mice of each sex received doses of 0 (control group), 1250, 2500 and 5000 mg/kg body weight. Mortalities, clinical findings, autopsy findings and body weight changes were monitored daily for 14 days following the administration. We observed survival rates, general toxicities, changes of body weight, and autopsy. No significant lethality was observed after single oral administration of MJHT at the different dosages. Autopsies on the animals revealed no gross abnormalities. Therefore, the LD50 value of MJHT for ICR mice was estimated more than 5000 mg/kg by the oral route. These results suggest that no toxic dose level of MJHT in mice is considered to be more than 5000 mg/kg. Consequently, it was concluded that MJHT have no effect on acute toxicity and side effect in ICR mice.

<P>We investigated the effects of a topically applied extract of the heartwood of <I>Broussonetia kazinoki</I> Sieb (<I>B. kazinoki</I>) on atopic dermatitis (AD)-like skin lesions induced by an extract of the house-dust mite <I>Dermatophagoides farina</I> in NC/Nga mice. We found that topically applied <I>B. kazinoki</I> extract suppressed the histological manifestations of AD-like skin lesions, and decreased the levels of plasma immunoglobulin E (IgE) and interleukin-4 (IL-4) in the mice. Moreover, <I>B. kazinoki</I> inhibited the induction of thymus-and-activation-regulated chemokine (TARC/CCL17), macrophage-derived chemokine (MDC/CCL22), and regulated-on-activation-normal T cell-expressed-and-secreted chemokine (RANTES/CCL5) in HaCaT cells activated by tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) and interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma). In conclusion, our results suggest that <I>B. kazinoki</I> extract has therapeutic advantages in the treatment of AD.</P>
