The Effect of Emotional Image on Customer Attitude
Hyeyoon PARK,Soyeon PARK 한국유통과학회 2019 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.6 No.3
This study examines the color image of uniform of airline cabin crew according to the demographic characteristics of the customer and demonstrates how it affects the cognitive image of airlines. Adjective adjectives were derived for uniform color images of all eight airlines in Korea and analyzed the image of airline brand color. Based on the analysis of color images, the difference in perception according to the demographic characteristics of passengers was analyzed. When the colors of airline uniforms are mainly blue, sky blue, white and ivory, they have a lot of trust, neat and elegant images. Uniforms with primary colors such as red, orange and green beans are found to have a lot of cheerful, developmental and enterprising images. In addition, the empirical analysis of the impact of the customer's cognitive perception and favoritism on the uniform color image of the airline crew showed that the more positive the airline's positive perception of the uniform color image, the more positive the cognitive image is. In other words, the empirical analysis revealed that the airline's uniform color image, its cognitive image of the airline, and its popularity have significant positive relationships.

Objects : Glycine max Merr. (black bean), Triticum aestivum L. (wheat) and Oryza sativa L. (rice bran) have been widely used for treatment of relaxion of smooth muscle, gastrointestinal hemorrhage and alopecia in Korean Traditional Medicine. In this research, we examined the effect of the extracts, obtained from EtOH extracts of 3 kinds of traditional plants, on hair growing activity of the DP6 and C3H10T1 cell and physical properties. Materials and Methods : On the basis of previous studies, three traditional plants were selected and we extracted them with ethanol. We evaluated their hairy dermal papillar cell proliferation activity and mouse mesenchymal stem cell in vitro model. Also, 3 herbal extracts were added to the normal shampoo formulation in ranges of 0.1% and we validated tensile properties and physical changes using aged hair. In this research, we compared the tensile strength, shine and color appearance between the hair (general formulation) and the hair after applying shampoo with natural extracts. To analyze the luster and color image, we use the SAMBA hardware and software made by Bossa Nova Technologies. Results : In the comparative test for tensile characteristic between the hair treated general formulation(control) and the hair applying special formulation including 3 kinds of extracts, tensile distance and energy of the latter are larger than control on average. The shine and color appearance were also increased after using shampoo including natural extracts(shine : 10.9%, color appearance: 24.12%). We observed the enhancement of hair growth activity in the DP6 and C3H10T1 cell. Especially black bean extracts had the most powerful effect in the dermal papillar cell proliferation. Conclusion : These experiments suggest that extracts of Glycine max Merr. (black bean), Triticum aestivum L.(wheat) and Oryza sativa L. (rice bran) stimulate the hair growth activity and can improve physical activities of aged hair. Shampoo product, which contains 3 kinds of natural extracts, would be used for the treatment for aged hair.

Objective-In this study, we aimed to investigate preferences regarding the disclosure of a dementia diagnosis and advance care planning (ACP) in patients with memory complaints and their families. Methods-A total of 98 patients who visited the department of psychiatry at a tertiary hospital with memory complaints and 62 family members completed a structured questionnaire. The questionnaire included preferences on disclosure of dementia and cancer diagnosis, awareness and preferences on ACP. Results-In total, 96.9% of patients were willing to know their dementia diagnosis. There were no significant differences in preferences between the diagnosis of cancer and dementia. Only 24.7% of patients and 45.8% of family members have heard of ACP. However, 82.8% of patients agreed on the necessity of ACP under the current condition. Multivariate analysis revealed that younger patients were more likely to agree with necessity for ACP under the current condition. Conclusion-In Korea, patients with memory complaints and their family members strongly favored a disclosure of dementia diagnosis. The majority of participants also agreed on the necessity of ACP. More active involvement of patients is needed in treatment decisions and care planning in cases of dementia as well as other life-threatening illnesses.

Microtubule plus-end tracking proteins (+TIPs), a structurally and functionally diverse group of proteins, are specifically accumulated in the microtubule plus end and regulate dynamic microtubule behavior. We characterized the +TIPs, Clip1, p150glued, Clasp1, Lis1 and Stim1, in <I>Xenopus laevis</I> and report their expression patterns during embryogenesis in this paper. All the five +TIP genes are maternally expressed and have similar expression patterns during <I>Xenopus</I> embryo development. The expression of +TIPs is localized in the animal hemisphere and ectoderm region at early stages of embryonic development. As development progresses to later stages, the ectodermal expression of +TIPs persists in head and neural tube structures. Clasp1, p150glued and Lis1 in particular are specifically expressed in the cranial nerves. Importantly, +TIPs are also expressed in the involuting mesoderm during gastrulation. This is the first study of developmental expression patterns of +TIPs, and our analysis provides insight that could serve as the basis for future research of microtubules in vertebrate development, cell movements during gastrulation and neurogenesis.</P>
Morpholine-Induced Thermodynamic and Kinetic Inhibitions on Gas Hydrate Formation
Park, Seongmin,Ro, Hyeyoon,Lee, Jong-Won,Kang, Hyery,Lee, Huen American Chemical Society 2013 Energy & fuels Vol.27 No.11
<P>The unexpected formation of gas hydrates during production and transportation processes in petroleum industries is known as a serious problem. To deal with this problem, the oil and gas industry has been searching for hydrate inhibitors that have great performance and cost effectiveness. Recently, ionic liquids (ILs) have been suggested as novel hydrate inhibitors that are able to act in both thermodynamic and kinetic ways (so-called dual-function inhibitors). In this paper, we suggest a non-ionic liquid compound, morpholine, as a dual-function inhibitor by measuring hydrate-phase equilibria and a series of microscopic analyses [powder X-ray diffraction, solid-state 13C nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and Raman spectroscopy]. Moreover, the formation kinetics of gas hydrates in the presence of morpholine was found to be better than two comparators, 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate and polyvinylpyrrolidone. Such inhibition effects of morpholine are thought to be mainly attributed to the nucleophilicity of the ring compound forming hydrogen bonds between surrounding water molecules.</P>

<P>Immoderate fat accumulation causes both oxidative stress and inflammation, which can induce kidney damage in obesity. Previously, Ecklonia cava has shown anti-inflammatory and antioxidative effects. Our group aimed to investigate whether E. cava polyphenol extract (ECPE) improves renal damage in high fat diet (HFD)-induced obese mice through regulation of not only energy metabolism but also oxidative stress and inflammation. After obesity induction by HFD, the mice were treated with different dosages of ECPE (100 or 500 mg/kg/day) by gavage for 12 weeks. ECPE treatment lowered the protein levels related to lipid accumulation (SREBP1c, ACC & FAS), inflammation (NLRP3 inflammasome, Na kappa B, MCP-1, TNF-alpha & CRP), and oxidative stress (Nrf2, HO-1, MnSOD, NQO1, GPx, 4-HNE and protein carbonyls) in HFD induced obese mice. Moreover, ECPE supplementation significantly up-regulated renal SIRT1, PGC-l alpha, and AMPK, which are associated with renal energy metabolism. Consequently, the results provide novel insights into the anti-inflammatory roles of ECPE in obesity-induced renal inflammation.</P>

Objectives We aimed to characterize the results obtained from Korean medical examinations and questionnaires on the quality of sleep. Methods The quality of sleep was measured using the Pittsburgh sleep quality index in 400 subjects. Afterwards, heart rate variability (HRV) measurements were done, along with the analyses for tongue color, teeth marks, and tongue coating through the tongue diagnosis system. A questionnaire about body’s heat, cold and sweating conditions, and the perceived stress scale (PSS) were performed. Finally, correlations between all these indicators and the sleep quality were analyzed. Results As the quality of sleep decreased, the sympathetic nervous system was stimulated. The subjects who had the blue-purple colored tongue experienced decreased quality of sleep. The quality of sleep was also deteriorated in the subjects who usually feel cold and hot easily, sweat a lot, and feel a lot of discomfort. According to the PSS questionnaire, the higher the stress level is, the lower was the quality of sleep. Conclusions We obtained meaningful results by comprehensively analyzing the sleep quality, HRV, tongue diagnosis, heat and cold conditions, sweating, and stress conditions. In particular, the sleep quality had a significant correlation with the rest of the indicators. (J Korean Med Rehabil 2022;32(1):73-87)
