Pesticides were extracted from samples with 70% acetone and methylene chloride in order, and then cleaned up via open-column chromatography apparatus packed with fiorisil, and finally analyzed simultaneously the organophosphorus pesticides using GC/NPD, Ultra-2 and Ultra-1 fused silica capillary columns were used to separate and identify the products. Recovery of most analytes from soybean sample, taken from pesticide residues well, was greater than(80%) for all except(6) analytes. This method can simultaneously determine multiple pesticides with a high degree of accuracy and precision.
하수처리수 관개후 벼재배 시험구에서 지표미생물 거동 분석

A study was performed to examine the effects of UV-disinfected reclaimed water on microorganism concentration during rece culture. Four treatments were used and each one was triplicated to evaluate the changes of microorganism concentrations; stream water irrigation (STR), biofilter effluent irrigation (BE), UV-disinfected water irrigation with dose of 6㎽·s ㎝_(-2)(UV-6), and UV-disinfected water irrigation with dose of 16㎽·s ㎝_(-2)(UV-16). The indicator microorganisms of interest were total coliform(TC),fecal coliform(FC), and E. coli. The biofilter effluent from 16-unit apartment sewage treatment plant was used as reclaimed water and flow-through type UV-disinfection system was used. Concentrations of indicator microorganisms in the treatment plots ranged from 10²to 10^(5)MPN/100mL during 24 hours after irrigation in May and June, where initial irrigation water for transplanting preparation was biofilter-effluent without UV-disinfection. It implies that initial irrigation using only non-disinfected reclaimed water for puddling in paddy field can be health-concerned because of more chance of farmer`s physical contact with elevated concentration of microorganisms. The concentrations of microorganisms varied widely with rainfall, and treatments using UV-disinfected water irrigation showed significantly lower concentrations than others and their levels were within the range of paddy rice field with normal surface water irrigation. The mean concentrations of STR and BE during growing season were in the range of 4×10³MPN/100mL for TC, and 2×10³MPN/100mL for FC and E. Coli. while mean concentrations of UV-6 and UV-16 were less than 1×10³MPN/100mL for all the indicator microorganisms. Overall, UV-disinfection was thought to be feasible and practical alternative for agricultural reuse of secondary level effluent in Korea.
간헐파형 Doppler 심초음파도를 이용한 좌심실 수축기 기능의 평가지표

연구배경 : 심전도, 간접 경동맥파도, 심음도를 이용한 구혈전기와 좌심실 구혈시간의 비(PEPc/LVETc)를 좌심실 유출로의 간헐파형 Doppler 심초음파도를 이용한 수축기 기능지표들로의 대치 가능성을 검토하기 위하여 본 연구를 시행하였다. 방법 : 임상적으로 울혈성 심부전증 소견을 보인 확장성 심근중 환자 22명과 정상 대조군 21명에서 ATLUM 9 심초음파기를 사용하여 심첨 4방 또는 5방 단면도에서의 좌심실 유출로의 간헐파형 Doppler 심초음파도, 간점 경동맥파도, 심음도 및 심전도를 동시에 기록하여 계측한 비관혈적 좌삼실 수축기의 기능지표들에 대하여 비교관찰하였다. 결과 : 1) FVI는 PEPc/LVETc, 간헐파형 Doppler 심초음파도에서 측정한 구혈전기와 좌심실 구혈시간의 비(PEPd/LVETd)와 상호 매우 유의한 상관관계를 보였다(r=-0.66, p<0.01와 r=-0.72, p<0.01). 2) 심부전 환자군은 정상 대조군보다 PEPc/LVETc)(0.45±0.11와 0.33±0.05, p<0.01), PEPd/LVETd (0.44±0.08와 0.32±0.04, p<0.01)가 매우 유의하게 증가하였고, FVI (12.8±01.6와 14.1±2.1, p<0.05)는 감소하였다. 3) 심부전 환자에서 좌심실 수축기 기능의 총수치인 NISCORE는 PEPd/LVETd, FVI와 매우 유의한 상관관계를 보여(r=0.64, p<0.01와 r=-0.56, p<0.05), NISCORE가 높으면 높을수록 PEPd/LVETd는 증가하였고 FVI는 감소하였다. 결론 : 간접 경동맥파도를 이용한 PEPc/LVETc 대신 Doppler 심초음파도를 이용한 PEPd/LVETd와 FVI를 좌심실 수축기의 기능지표로 대치할 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 울혈성 심부전증의 중등도 평가에도 유용하리라 사료된다. Background : This study was performed to evaluate the clinical usefulness of systolic time intervals using pulsed Doppler echocardiogram in left ventricular outflow tract instead of those using ECG, phonocardiogram and indirect carotid arterial pulse tracing. Method : The pre-ejection period (PEPd), left ventricular ejection time (LVETd), the ratio of PEPd to LVETd (PEPd/LVETd), peak folw velocity (PFV), and flow velocity integral (FVI) using pulsed Doppler echocardiogram in left ventricular outflow tract were measured in 22 subjects with dilated cardiomyopathy and 21 normal subjects with average age of 50 (30~73) years. ECG, phonocardiongram, indirect carotid arterial pulse tracing, and pulsed Doppler echocardiogram in left ventricular outflow tract were recorded simultaneously with paper speed of 50~100mm/sec. The parame ters of the conventional systolic time intervals (PEPc, LVETc and PEPc/LVETc) were compared in two groups of the subjects. Result : PEPd/LVETd was significantly correlated with PEPc/LVETc and FVI (r=0.89, p<0.01 and r=-0.72, p<0.01), respectively. In subjects with heart failure, PEPc/LVETc and PEPd/LVETd were significantly increased (0.45±0.11 versus 0.33±0.05, p<0.01 and 0.44±0.08 versus 0.32±0.04, p<0.01) respectively but, FVI was significantly decreased, in comparison to the normal subjects (12.8±2.1 versus 14.1±2.1, p<0.05). Conclusion : In conclusion, systolic time intervals and FVI measured from pulsed Doppler echocardiogram seem to be more useful parameters for the evaluation of left ventricular systolic function than those measured from conventional indirect carotid arterial pulse tracing.

urokinasr를 치료목적으로 사용할 때 바람직한 urokinase의 혈중 농도를 알기 위하여 시험관 내에서 free form plasmin을 형성하는 urokinase의 농도를 다음과 같은 실험을 통하여 규명하였다. Normal pooled plasma (NPP)에 urokinase를 가하여 다양한 농도의 urokinase를 포함하는 NPP를 만들고 S-2444 및 S-2241를 이용하여 free form urokinase 및 plasminm을 측정하였고 동시에 FDP가 형성되는 양상을 관찰하였으며 SDS-PAGE and electrophoretic enzymography를 이용하여 free form plasmin이 형성되는 urokinase의 농도를 알아내고자 하였던 바 free form plasmin은 urokinase 5-10 unit/ml의 농도에서 검출되기 시작하였다. 따라서 urokinase 투여중 therapeutic window는 urokinase 10 unit/ml을 기준으로 설정되어야 하며 이를 기준으로 loading dose 및 maintenance dosage를 위한 연구가 있어야 할 것으로 사료된다. To find out the urokinase concentration at which free form plasmin begin to form in plasma, we measured plasmin from the normal pooled plasma of various concentration of urokinase between 300 unit/ml and 2.4 unit/ml, by chromogenic method (S-2251) and SDS-PAGE with fibrin-agar zymography. Free form plasmin begin to be detected by both chromogenic method and SDS-PAGE with fibrin-agar zymography between 5∼10 unit/ml of urokinase. This finding suggest that the urokinase concentration should be around 10 unit/ml for the effective fibrinolysis during intravenous administration.
