“生活선”是中國淨慧法師在1991年提出來,在1993年거辦第一屆生活선夏令營的時候,正式推出 “生活선”理念。淨慧法師的生活선主旨是:선與生活是同時幷存的,有生活就有선;就是要讓선回到生活中;就是希望佛法能구淨化人心,淨化社會;爲了讓更多的人安身立命,要普及佛法,利用선接引當機;佛敎只有落實到生活的各個方面,才能진正變成自己的血肉和靈魂。要在心態上時時觀照自己,時時把信仰和言行打成一片,加以修行。我們認爲,“生活선” 將佛敎深奧的道理現實化了,具有可操作性,蘊含了豊富的哲學辯證法,閃朔著智慧的光芒。下面僅就當下與未來、點滴與善果、理念與修行、塵世與超越四大方面加以說明。 Living Zen was proposed by the Chinese Zen Master Jing Hui in 1991, the main idea are: Zen and life side by side, there is life, there is Zen; We should make Zen back to life; Buddhism can purify the mind, purify society; In order to allow more people to settle down, the popularity of Buddhism, Zen should be implemented in all aspects of life, can truly become our own flesh, blood and soul. Man should always observe oneself, beliefs and behavior from Buddhism. We believe that the “Living Zen” is an important truth of Buddhism today and it contains a wealth of philosophical dialectics, for example, the four relations between the present and the future, the small and the big, idea and practice, the actual and beyond, shining the lights of wisdom.

“唐宋八大家”之一的歐陽修, 不僅在政治上建樹頗多、文學上령開一代文風, 同時用獨特的視角和風格對儒家君子思想進行了硏究:明確界定了“君子”行義的本質, 完美勾勒出君子的品行, 認眞踐行君子人格, 使其保持永久魅力, 幷從“君子之德”、“君子之修”、“君子之交”、“君子之勇”、“君子之樂”五個方面完整闡釋了君子的認識。 Ouyang Xiu(歐陽修), one of Chinese Eight Famous scholars between Tang and Song Dynasties(唐宋八大家), was not only on the political achievements and a lot of literature, but also opened a new style of writing with unique perspective. At the same time, he studied the thoughts of Confucian (儒家)gentleman(君子)------clearly define the nature of "gentleman", perfectly outline of the gentleman``s character, seriously practice of gentleman personality, keep the permanent charm of "gentleman". From the five aspects of "morality of gentleman", "a gentleman training", "association of gentleman", "gentleman’s bravery", "entertainment of gentleman ",Ouyang Xiu gave us a complete explanation of the gentleman.
Synthesis of Hydroxylactams and Esters Derived from Thalidomide and Their Antitumor Activities

A novel and convenient route for the synthesis of a series of thalidomide derivatives is described. Compound 2 was cyclized with different amines under alkaline condition to obtain 4-nitro substituted phthalimidines 3a-d. Hydroxylactams 4a-d were produced via bromination and hydroxylation. Different acyl chlorides were reacted with hydroxylactams to provide the desired esters 5a-d. All compounds were evaluated by MTT assay for their inhibitory activities against HCT-116, MG-63, MCF-7, HUVEC and HMVEC cell lines in vitro. Most of them showed no obvious cytotoxic effect on normal human cells, compounds 4a-d, $5a_2$, $5a_4$, $5a_5$, $5b_2$, $5c_2$ and $5d_2$ exhibited potent antitumor activities, among which compounds $5a_2$ and $5b_2$ were more effective than 5-FU.

As a stable chemical material, polypropylene (PP) micro-nanofibrous membranes are widely used in medical andhealth care. However, PP fibrous membranes with single nano scale diameter are conducive to high packing density, whichresults in large flow resistance across the membrane. Therefore, to improve the material’s water and air permeability,polyethylene glycol (PEG), an incompatible polymer with PP, was introduced by blending in a modified method using a meltblowing process. This proposed approach allows large 10 μm diameter fibers to be entangled with fine 300 nm diameterfibers to produce highly porous binary structured fibrous membranes with small pore size. Because of its binary structure, theair permeability in the material reached 569.56 mm/s and the water vertical velocity was 70.15 mm/s. Additionally, the threedimensionalnumerical calculations suggested that the high porosity and binary structure were key to enhancing waterpermeability in the fibrous membranes. These binary structured micro-nanofibrous membranes are expected to be used forfiltration, separation, health care, oil/water separation, medical wound dressings, and other applications.

Background: The aim of this study was to evaluate the roles of interleukin (IL)-17A in risk stratification and prognosis of patients with sepsis-associated acute kidney injury (SAKI). Methods: We enrolled 146 sepsis patients (84 non-SAKI and 62 SAKI patients) admitted to the emergency department from November 2020 to November 2021. Patients with SAKI were differentiated based on the severity of acute kidney injury. All clinical parameters were evaluated upon admission before administering antibiotic treatment. Inflammatory cytokines were assessed using flow cytometry and the Pylon 3D automated immunoassay system (ET Healthcare). In addition, a receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was utilized to determine the prognostic values of IL-17A in SAKI. Results: The levels of creatinine, IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, IL-17A, tumor necrosis factor alpha, C-reactive protein, and procalcitonin (PCT) were significantly higher in the SAKI group than in the non-SAKI group (p < 0.05). The level of IL-17A revealed significant differences among stages 1, 2, and 3 in SAKI patients (p < 0.05). The mean levels of PCT, IL-4, and IL-17A were significantly higher in the non-survival group than in the survival group in SAKI patients (p < 0.05). In addition, the area under the ROC curve of IL-17A was 0.811. Moreover, the IL-17A cutoff for differentiating survivors from non-survivors was 4.7 pg/mL, of which the sensitivity and specificity were 77.4% and 71.0%, respectively. Conclusion: Elevated levels of IL-17A could predict that SAKI patients are significantly prone to worsening kidney injury with higher mortality. The usefulness of IL-17A in treating SAKI requires further research.
A VAR Model Application in the Work Safety of Coal Mines

This paper is an analysis of the relationship between the work safety and the safety investment level of coal mines, the coal miners" occupational competence, the unemployment rate, and total coal production. The analysis was performance using a VAR econometric model, Granger causality test, and pulse analysis. The sepcific results show: the indicator of safety investment brought significant impact on the indicator of "fatality rate per million tons of coal production"; in the current period the shock from the safety investment brought negative impact on "fatality rate per million tons of coal production", which would be further strengthened with time going; the improvement of coal miners occupational competence brought positive impact on "fatality rate per million tons of coal production", which tends to be strengthened in long term. Based on the results in this empirical study, this paper suggests to improve Chinese coal mine work safety the following measures be taken; improve supervisin and administration of the employment systems of coal enterprises from the national institutional perspective; introduce and implement competitive employment mechanisms in response to the surplus labour force of unskilled workers; increase coal enterprises" investment into the safety training of coal miners; and further facilitate more cooperation with the coal miners.

Tungstophosphoric acids (PW) supported on various metal oxides (SiO_2, γ_Al_2O_3, TiO_2, ZrO_2 and CeO_2)were synthesized and used as catalysts for sorbitol dehydration to isosorbide for the first time. 30% PW/SiO_2 exhibited the best catalytic performance for sorbitol dehydration, over which 56% isosorbide selectivity could be gained at a 95% sorbitol conversion at 250℃. The catalytic performance of regenerated 30% PW/SiO_2 catalysts by dichloromethane elution showed no loss after recycling five runs. Characterizations with UV-Vis, XRD, NH3-TPD and thermal analysis techniques revealed that PW had a good dispersion, and the primary Keggin structure was preserved after supporting PW on different supports. The interaction between PW and oxides resulted in different acidity of catalysts,which affected conversion of sorbitol and selectivity for isosorbide. The final acidity order of supported PW catalysts was the following: SiO_2>γ_Al_2O_3>TiO_2 ≈ZrO_2>CeO_2.
