        패배의 ‘기억의 장소’로서 영화 <남한산성>에 관한 연구

        본 논문은 영화 <남한산성>이 병자호란의 기억을 어떤 방식으로 재현하고 있는지를 분석하고 그 의미를 논의하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 분석에 앞서 패배의 기억의 장소로써 남한산성이 자리 잡은 과정을 통시적 관점에서 정리하였다. <남한산성>은 김상헌과 최명길의 충돌, 서날쇠의 행동에 기반한 중심기억에 겨울바람 소리, 절, 자연주의적 세계관을 상징하는 클로즈업 쇼트 등을 통한 잉여기 억이 덧붙여지면서 백성을 위한 새로운 삶의 조건이 무엇인지를 묻고 있다. 대통령 탄핵, 동북아시아를 둘러싼 관련 국가들 간의 갈등의 고조라는 현실의 맥락에서 <남한산성>은 또 다른 의미를 얻게 된다. <남한산성>은 김상헌이 남긴 마지막 말처럼 낡은 모든 것들이 사라지는 건 현실적으로 불가능하기에 미완일 수밖에 없는 탄핵이 가진 근본적인 한계를 깨닫게 하는 텍스트로도 읽힐 수 있다. 이런 측면에서 이 영화는 현실의 감추어진 이면을 드러내는 폭로기억의 텍스트이기도 하다. This paper aims to analyze how The Fortress activates the memories of the Byeongja Horan and discuss its meaning. Prior to analysis, the process of establishing Namhansanseong as a site of memory of defeat was summarized from a diachronic point of view. The film is structured with central memories based on the conflict between Kim Sang-heon and Choi Myeong-gil, Seo Nal-soe’s actions, and surplus memories through close-up shots, the sound of the winter wind symbolizing naturalistic perception of the world and a bow. Through this, The Fortress asks what the conditions of a new life for the people are. The Fortress acquires another meaning in the context of the reality of the impeachment of the president and escalation of conflicts among related countries in Northeast Asia. The Fortress can also be read as a text that makes us realize the fundamental limitations of impeachment, which is bound to be incomplete because it is realistically impossible for all old things to disappear, as Kim Sang-heon said at the end. In this respect, the film is also a text of un-screening memory that reveals the hidden side of reality.

Sang-Woo Kim, Jae-Young Choi, and co-workers report on p. 2187 the electrical and structural stability of the nanogenerators, with excellent charge scavenging performance under external mechanical loads such as bending and rolling.       • HBV : Application of Roadmap-concept on Chronic Hepatitis B Patient with Entecavir Therapy Previously Exposed to Lamivudine: A Long Term Follow-up Study

        Background/Aim: Many patients with lamivudine-resistant (LAM-R) chronic hepatitis B (CHB) had been treated by switching to entecavir (ETV) 1.0mg. Although rate of resistance to ETV (ETV-R) is reported high, current medical insurance system doesn`t pay-back for change from ETV to other agent in patients whose resistance to ETV was not identified. This study was aimed to stratify ETV therapy in LAM-R patients. Methods: One hundred and ten CHB patients who occurred LMV-R and received ETV 1.0mg up to 5 years were evaluated prospectively. At 12 months of switching to ETV, we divided subjects into non-detection group (HBV DNA<20 IU/mL) and detection group (HBV DNA≥20 IU/mL), which was subdivided into low viral load group (20≤HBV DNA<2,000 IU/mL) and high viral load group (2,000 IU/mL≤ HBV DNA). Virologic response rate (VR; HBV DNA<20 IU/mL) and ETV-R were evaluated as end point. Results: One hundred and ten patents were enrolled. The mean age was 45±11years, the proportion of male and HBeAgpositive patient was 71% (80/110) and 77% (85/110), respectively. The mean serum HBV DNA levels were 6.89±1.03, 3.26±1.81, 3.06±1.82, 2.49±1.53, 2.43±1.35 and 1.73±0.87 log10IU/ ml at baseline, month 12, 24, 36, 48 and 60, respectively. The VR (95% vs. 29%, P<0.001) was higher and ETV-R (10% vs. 54%, P=0.001) was lower in non-detection group than in detection group. The VR (27% vs. 29%, P=0.853) and ETV-R (45% vs. 57%, P=0.367) was not significantly different between low viral load and high viral load group. Resistance to ETV occurred at 26±10.3 months (median 24 months, 12-48 months) in detection group. Conclusion: Resistance rates were high in patients with detectable HBV DNA at 12 months of ETV therapy. Therefore, switching to or adding a potent nucleotide analogue (e.g. tenofovir) is warranted in LAM-R CHB patients whose HBV DNA is detected after 12 months of ETV therapy.

      • Oxidation Effect in Octahedral Hafnium Disulfide Thin Film

        <P>Atomically smooth van der Waals materials are structurally stable in a monolayer and a few layers but are susceptible to oxygen-rich environments. In particular, recently emerging materials such as black phosphorus and perovskite have revealed stronger environmental sensitivity than other two-dimensional layered materials, often obscuring the interesting intrinsic electronic and optical properties. Unleashing the true potential of these materials requires oxidation-free sample preparation that protects thin flakes from air exposure. Here, we fabricated few-layer hafnium disulfide (HfS2) field effect transistors (FETs) using an integrated vacuum cluster system and study their electronic properties and stability under ambient conditions. By performing all the device fabrication and characterization procedure under an oxygen- and moisture-free environment, we found that few-layer AA-stacking HfS2-FETs display excellent field effect responses (I-on/I-off approximate to 10(7)) with reduced hysteresis compared to the FETs prepared under ambient conditions. Oxidation of HfS2 occurs uniformly over the entire area, increasing the film thickness by 250% at a prolonged oxidation time of >120 h, while defects on the surface are the preferential initial oxidation sites. We further demonstrated that the stability of the device in air is significantly improved by passivating FETs with BN in a vacuum cluster.</P>

      • The Flora of Mt. Ma-san (Goseong, Gangwon) in South Korea

        This study is aimed to identify the distribution of vascular plants at Mt. Ma-san located in Goseong city of Gangwon province in South Korea. The survey was performed from March to November in 2010 and 2016. The flora of the mountain were found to be; 711 taxa, 96 families, 343 genera, 595 species, 7 subspecies, 94 varieties and 15 forms. The rare plants were found to be 32 taxa including Anemone koraiensis Nakai, Oplopanax elatus (Nakai) Nakai, Salvia chanryoenica Nakai. In the surveyed area, a total of 28 taxa were found to be endemic plants of Korea including Cirsium setidens (Dunn) Nakai, Anemone koraiensis Nakai. Distribution of floristic special plants were found to be divided into five classes (class I~V). The floristic special plants in the surveyed areas were 8 taxa of grade V, 27 taxa of grade IV, and 46 taxa of grade III. 38 taxa of naturalized plants were identified, which included Bidens frondosa L., Erechtites hieracifolia Raf., Helianthus tuberosus L.

      • A Study on the Correlation of Left Atrial Volume Change according to Left Ventricular Contraction in Atrial Fibrillation

        The purpose of this study was to increase accuracy and success rate of radiofrequency catheter ablation by analysis of left atrial volume change relative to left ventricular volume change and left atrial diameter change relative to left atrial volume change. 20 patients with normal heart rhythm were set as the control group, and 20 patients with diagnosed atrial fibrillation were set as the experimental group. The cardiac cycle was divided into 10 stages ranging from 0% to 90%, and left ventricular volume, left atrial volume, left atrial diameter, pulmonary vein diameter were measured for each group. the correlation between the left ventricular volume and the left atrial volume was analyzed, and the correlation between the left atrial volume and left atrial diameter was analyzed. The diameter of the pulmonary veins was measured. As a result of analyzing the correlation between left ventricular volume and left atrial volume through Spearman correlation, the control group showed a negative correlation.(P<0.001) The experimental group were not correlated.(P=0.075) As a result of analyzing the correlation between the left atrial volume and the left atrial diameter, both groups showed a positive correlation.(P<0.001) As a result of analyzing the diameter of the pulmonary vein by Wilcoxon signed-rank test, both groups showed a significant difference in the maximum diameter and the minimum diameter.(P<0.001) Because the volume and diameter of the left atrium in patients with atrial fibrillation change irregularly, the radiologist check all cardiac cycle and reconstruct to increase the accuracy and success rate of radiofrequency catheter ablation.

        Meso-tetrakis(N-methylpyridinium-4-yl)porphyrin at the Minor Groove of Contiguous Adenine-Thymine Base Pairs

        Three possible binding modes of cationic meso-tetrakis(N-methylpyridinium-4-yl)porphyrin (TMPyP) to d[(GCATATATGC)2] duplex were investigated by the molecular dynamics (MD) simulation. Among the three binding modes namely, “along the groove”, “across the groove” and “face on the groove”, the “across the groove” model exhibited the largest negative binding free energy and the DNA backbone remained as the B form. In this model, the molecular plain of the TMPyP tilts 45o with respect to the DNA helix axis and is largely exposed to the solvent. TMPyP was stabilized mainly by the interaction between the positively charged neighboring pyridinium moieties of TMPyP and negatively charged phosphate groups of DNA. The result obtained in this work by MD and the report (Jin, B. et al., J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2005, 127, 2417.) that the spectral properties of poly[d(A-T)2] bound TMPyP in the presence and absence of the minor groove binding drug 4',6- diamidino-2-phenylindole are similar, we propose that TMPyP bind across the minor groove of the AT rich- DNA.

        Sarcopenia as a Predictor of Prognosis in Early Stage Ovarian Cancer

        Background: To identify sarcopenia as a predictive prognostic factor of ovarian cancer in terms of survival outcome in patients with early-stage ovarian cancer. Methods: Data of Konkuk University Medical Center from March 2002 to December 2017 were reviewed retrospectively. Eighty-two patients who underwent surgery due to early-stage (International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics stage I/II) ovarian cancer and had computed tomography (CT) images taken at the initial diagnosis were included. The initial CT scan images were analyzed with SliceOmatic software (TomoVision). A sarcopenia cutoff value was defined as a skeletal muscle index of ≤ 38.7 cm2 /m2 . Overall survival (OS) times were compared according to the existence of sarcopenia, and subgroup analyses were performed. Results: A Kaplan-Meier analysis showed a significant survival disadvantage for patients with early-stage ovarian cancer when they had sarcopenia (P < 0.001; log-rank test). Sarcopenia remained a significant prognostic factor for OS in early-stage ovarian cancer, in a Cox proportional hazards model regression analysis (HR, 21.9; 95% CI, 2.0–199.9; P = 0.006). Conclusion: This study demonstrated that sarcopenia was predictive of OS in patients with early-stage ovarian cancer. Further prospective studies with a larger number of patients are warranted to determine the extent to which sarcopenia can be used as a prognostic factor in ovarian cancer.

      • HCC : PO-11 ; Portal vein thrombosis is the most important factor for the survival after the tumor resection

        Background: The prognostic factors related to long-term survival after surgical resection of HCC are still undetermined. The aim of study was to determine long-time survival and its prognostic factors among the HCC patients who had received surgical resection. Methods: This is the retrospective study. The patients received surgical resection in our hospital from Jun 1999 to Oct 2011. In total 60 pts who were diagnosed as HCC and treated with both TACE and subsequent tumor resection (n=25) or surgical resection only (n=35). We analyzed their survival outcomes according to their clinical, radiological and pathological parameter. We tried to find out which factors affect the longterm survival. Results: The patients were aged 58.1±10.1 years. During the follow-up period, 26 pts (43%) died and the overall median survival 57 months. The 1-, 3-, and 5-year survival rates were 82.6%, 55.8% and 40.6%, respectively. The demographic and laboratory data were as follows: male(83%), HBsAg positivity (70%), cirrhosis (75%), AFP 17.0 (1.7-105,740) ng/mL, pre-op TACE (42%), single tumor (78%), right lobe tumor (77%), tumor size 3.7 (0.7-15.6)cm, PVT(20%). Univariate analysis showed that gender, differentiation, portal vein thrombosis (PVT), UICC stage and HBsAg positivity affect the long-term survival. But, PVT is the only significant factor with multivariate analysis (p=0.02), Exp (B) 5.6 (1.3-25). Conclusions: The long-term survival rate was very high in HCC patients with surgical resection. The selection bias in relation to reserve function, early UICC stage, and referral hospital should be considered to interpret the rate. Vascular invasion is the only significant prognostic factor for postoperative survival.
