The effects of Metalloids(P, C, B) addition on the amorphous formation range, thermal stability and crystallization behavior of Fe_100-XC_X, Fe_100-XP_X, Fe_100-XB_X, (X=14, 17, 20at%)alloys were investigated by the XRD, SEM, TEM and DSC. The results were summarized as follows; 1. Binary Fe-P and Fe-B alloys were amorphized in the composition range of 17 to 20at%P and 14 to 20at%B by melt spinning. On the other hand, binary Fe-C alloys were not amorphized in the composition range of 14 to 20at%C because of precipitation bcc-Fe and Fe_3C. 2. The value of T_g/T_m was estimated over 0.45 when the content of P is 17at%, 20at% and that of B is 14at%, 17at% and 20at%. In this value(T_g/T_m ≥ 0.45), it was shown that amorphization is possible.
개복 수술로 확인된 외상성 췌장 손상 환자에 대한 임상적 고찰

Purpose: Althoughpancreas injury is rare in abdominal trauma,it posesa challengeto the surgeon because its clinicalfeaturesare not prominentand the presence of main duct injurycannot be easily identified by imaging studies. Furthermore, severe pancreas injuries require a distal pancreatectomy or a pancreaticoduodnectomy which are associated considerable morbidity and mortality. We reviewed the clinical features of and outcomes for patients with pancreas injury. Methods: For 10 years from Jan. 2001 to Dec. 2010, thirty-four patients were diagnosedas having pancreas injury by using an explo-laparotomy. Patients successfully treated bynon-operative management were excluded. Patients were divided into early (n=18) and delayed surgery groups (n=11) based on an interval of 24hours between injury and surgery. The clinical features of and the outcomes for the patients in both groups were compared. Results: Males were more commonly injured (82.4% vs.17.6%). The mean age was 37.2 years. The injury mechanisms included vehicle accidents (62.9%, 22/34), assaults (20%, 7/34), and falls (11.4%, 3/34)). The head and neck of the pancreas was most commonly injured, followed by the body and the tail (16, 12, and 6 cases). Of the 34 patients, 26 (76.5%) patients had accompanying injuries. Grade 1 and 2 occurred in 14 (5 and 9) patients, and grade 3, 4, and 5 occurred in 20 (16, 3, and 1) patients. The early and delayed surgery groups showed no difference in surgical outcomes. Two patients with grade 3 in the early surgery group died after surgery,one due tomassive hemorrhage and the other due to septic shock. Of the five patients initially managed non-operatively,three developed peripancreatic necrosis and two developed pseudocyst. All five patients were successfully cured by surgery. Conclusion: All cases of pancreas injury in this study involved blunt injury, and accompanying injury to major vessels or the bowel was the major cause of mortality. Surgery delayed for longer than 24 hours after was not associated with adverseoutcomes.
Fe 기 비정질합금의 열적안정성 및 기계적 성질에 미치는 천이금속의 영향

N/A This study has investigated the effect of thermal stability and mechanical property of Fe_(80-x)P_(10)C_6B₄Mx(X=2, 4, 6, M=transition metal) amorphous alloys fabricated by the melt-spun process. The glass transition temperature(T_g), crystallization temperature(T_x) and hardness increase with decreasing electron concentration (e/a) from about 7.38 to 7.18. The decrease of e/a implies the increase in the attractive bonding state between the M elements and other constituent element. The decrease in a/e leads to the enhancement of the attractive bonding state among the constituent elements which is favorable for the increase in T_g, T_x and hardness.

N/A The melt-spun amorphous Fe_(77-x)P_13C_4_B_4Al_2Mo_x(x=4∼15) and Fe_(82-x)P_XC_4B_4Al_2Mo_8(x=9∼15) alloys were found to exhibit a large supercooled liquid reglon(ΔT_x) exceeding 40 K before crystallization. The largest ΔT_x for the glassy alloys containing Mo reaches as large as 65 K for the Fe_69P_13C_4B_4Al_2Mo_8 alloy. The corrosion behavior of the amorphous Fe_(77-x)P_13C_4B_4Al_2Mo_x(x=4∼15) and Fe_(82-x)P_xC_4B_4Al_2Mo_8 (x=9∼17) alloys were examined by electrochemical measurements in 9M H_2SO_4 solution at 303 K. The addition of Mo(or P) for replacing some portion of Fe is effeotive in improving the corrosion resistance of the investigated Fe-based glassy alloys. They are spontaneously passivated and have a wide passive region with low passive current density.
