Recently, railroad’s preference greatly increased as the environment-friendly means of transportation as the importance in the aspects of environment and energy efficiency. So the government established the Korea Rail Network Authority which takes full charge of railroad construction in 20047 for regular railroad construction to combine major key points in the whole country with each other to be one city region by connecting them to each other to be within the commute time range of a hour and thirty minutes. And it has arranged large-scale railroad construction by establishing plans to build the 1st and 2nd national railroad networks as the national project and investing about 100 trillion won in it from 2006 to 2020. As large-scale railroad construction is promoted as the national project like this, there has been a string of safety accidents in it due to the large and complex construction project. As the government strengthened the safety accident prevention plans, safety accidents have tended to decrease in 2011. However, accidents of construction machinery have found to increase. Therefore, this study tried to investigate accident cases of the Korea Rail Network Authority for the recent 5 years and analyze accidents of construction machinery to prevent them in railroad construction sites and suggest accident prevention plans due to it by conducting, investigating, and analyzing the survey of its operators and superintendents of the construction sites and drawing the problems.
CD와 DVD의 회절격자로의 활용을 위한 회절특성 연구

In order to analyze quantitatively the diffraction of light from CD and DVD, in this study, the diffraction patterns from grating, CD and DVD were compared. The lattice distance of the samples was compared by the SEM measurements and the theoretical lattice distance was calculated by the measurements of the incident and diffraction angles. Also, the diffraction angle and the intensity of the 1st-order diffraction light, which was generated by an Ar-ion laser with various wavelength, were measured, and the results were quantitatively compared. in the comparison, superior diffraction was observed in the DVD with more shorter lattice distance and larger intensity of the diffraction light comparing with the grating and the CD.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to compare the activation of shoulder stabilizer muscles to variations of manual resistance during three-dimensional shoulder rehabilitation exercises. Methods: A total of 13 participants were included in this study. To normalize each muscle's activity, a maximal isometric voluntary contraction was performed by all participants. After receiving 30 minutes of training in three-dimensional shoulder rehabilitation exercises, participants randomly performed PNF arm and scapular patterns according to the intensities of manual resistance. The activities of the upper trapezius, lower trapezius, and serratus anterior were measured during these patterns. All exercises were performed for five seconds, and the average of three seconds, excluding the first and last seconds, was used for data analysis. Results: Lower trapezius activity was significant among manual resistance intensities. In both the PNF arm and scapular patterns, using 80% manual resistance of maximum resistance showed higher activity of the lower trapezius muscle compared to 20% of the maximum resistance. Conclusion: It is expected that PNF arm and scapular patterns, with varying intensities of manual resistance, can be used for early rehabilitation of patients with shoulder impingement syndrome.
Cascode 하모닉 발생기를 이용한 V-band MIMIC Quadruple Subharmonic 믹서

본 논문에서는 cascode 하모닉 발생기를 이용하여 V-band MIMIC (Millimeter-wave Monolithic Integrated Circuit) quadruple subharmonic 믹서를 설계 및 제작하였다. 고변환 이득 특성을 위하여 cascode 하모닉 발생기를 제안하였다. 제안된 cascode 하모닉 발생기는 기존의 multiplier 구조의 비해 평균 2.9 dB 및 최대 4 dB의 높은 4차 하모닉 출력 특성을 나타내었다. 제작된 V-band subharmonic 믹서의 측정결과 14.5 GHz LO 신호를 13 dBm의 크기로 입력하였을 때 3_4 dB의 높은 변환이득 특성을 얻었다. 또한 -53.6 dB의 LO-to-IF, -46.2 dB의 우수한 LO-to-RF 격리 특성을 나타내었다. 제작된 밀리미터파 subharmonic 믹서는 기존에 발표된 밀리미터파 대역의 subharmonic 믹서에 비해 우수한 변환이득 특성을 나타내었다. A V-band MIMIC quadruple subharmonic mixer is reported in this paper. The cascode harmonic generator is proposed for a high conversion gain. The proposed cascode harmonic generator is shown with a 4-th harmonic output characteristic that represents an average of 2.9 dB and a maximum of 4 dB higher than the conventional multiplier. The measured result of the subharmonic mixer has a conversion gain of 3_4 dB which a good conversion gain at a LO power of 13 dBm. Isolations of LO-to-IF and LO-to-RF were obtained -53.6 dB and -46.2 dB, respectively. The conversion gain of the subharmonic mixer in this study has a higher conversion gain compared with some other reports in millimeter-wave range.
높은 LO-RF 격리 특성의 W-band MIMIC Single-balanced 믹서

본 논문에서는 branch line coupler과 $\lambda$/4 전송라인을 이용하여 W-band MIMIC(Millimeter-wave Monolithic Integrated Circuit) single-balanced 믹서를 설계 및 제작하였다. Single-balanced 믹서의 설계를 위해 branch line coupler와 $\lambda$/4 전송라인 이용한 94 GHz 발룬 회로를 설계하였으며, 시뮬레이션 결과 94 GHz에서 반사계수는 -27.9 dB를 얻었으며, coupling은 4.26 dB, thru 특성은 -3.77 dB의 결과를 얻었다. 격리도와 위상차는 94 GHz에서 각각 23.5 dB 및 $180.2^{\circ}$의 결과를 얻었다. MIMIC single-balanced 믹서는 0.1 $\mu$m InGaAs/InAlAs/GaAs Metamorphic HEMT (High Electron Mobility Transistor) 다이 오드를 이용하여 설계 및 제작되었다. 제작된 MHEMT는 fT는 189 GHz, fmax는 334 GHz의 양호한 성능을 나타내었다. 설계된 믹서는 본 연구에서 개발된 MHEMT MIMIC 공정을 이용해 제작되었다. 94 GHz MIMIC single-balanced 믹서의 측정결과 변환손실 특성은 94 GHz에서 23.1 dB의 특성을 나타내었으며, 입력 Pl dB는 10 dBm, 출력 Pl dB는 -13.9 dBm의 결과를 얻었다. Single-balanced 믹서의 LO-RF 격리도는 94.19 GHz에서 45.5 dB의 높은 LO-RF 격리도 특성을 나타내었다. 본 논문에서 설계 및 제작된 W-band MIMIC Single-balanced 믹서는 기존의 밀리미터파 대역 믹서와 비교하여 높은 LO-RF 격리도 특성을 나타내었다. In this paper, high LO-RF isolation W-band MIMIC single-balanced mixer was designed and fabricated using a branch line coupler and a $\lambda$/4 transmission line. The simulation results of the designed 94 GHz balun show return loss of -27.9 dB, coupling of -4.26 dB, and thru of -3.77 dB at 94 GHz, respectively. The isolation and phase difference were 23.5 dB and $180.2^{\circ}$ at 94 GHz. The W-band MIMIC single-balanced mixer was designed using the 0.1 $\mu$m InGaAs/InAlAs/GaAs Metamorphic HEMT diode. The fabricated MHEMT was obtained the cut-off frequency(fT) of 189 GHz and the maximum oscillation frequency(fmax) of 334 GHz. The designed MIMIC single-balanced mixer was fabricated using 0.1 $\mu$m MHEMT MIMIC Process. From the measurement, the conversion loss of the single-balanced mixer was 23.1 dB at an LO power of 10 dBm. Pl dB(1 dB compression point) of input and output were 10 dBm and -13.9 dBm respectively. The LO-RF isolations of single-balanced mixer was obtained 45.5 dB at 94.19 GHz. We obtained in this study a higher LO-RF isolation compared to some other balanced mixers in millimeter-wave frequencies.
