The movement lifting up and supporting the object with arm in sports or daily life can bring about the several disease or injure to a joint, bone and muscle for great weight, as you overuse your power. Therefore it is a important study to find out the mechanical structure and principle of arm's movement. Because human's body is different from another object. It is not simple. So biomechanist make clear relation with the power and movement by modelizing each segment of body into a rigid body and by substituting direct kinetics problem for indirect kinetics problem. This study developed the kinetical modeling of right arm's segment at lifting up and down of dumbbell by using korean's data. In recent years, numerical simulation of human body motion has received an increasingly wider range of application. Computer simulations have greatly contributed to the understanding of kinematics and dynamics of human motion. Such simulations are being used in ergonomics to better understand and thus improve the interaction of persons with machines and with workplace configurations. In sports, the simulations are being used to optimize performance, to develop equipment for injury prevention, and to speed and enhance recovery from injury. Then in this study simulated one arm curl motion for understanding force and moment in arm's each joint, and this segment modeling was used 2-dimension, 3-link system. From simulation of mathematica 3.0 we found kinematic and kinetic factors with imaginatively lift of dumbbell and simulated random value of the last curl angle, weight of dumbbell, cycle of motion and so on. The conclusions of this study is as follows ; 1. As this study link system, weight of dumbbell influence not a stance and motion but magnitude of force and moment. 2. The force showed even as smooth curve in all cycle. Moment showed biggist between 0.5sec and 1.5sec. The magnitude order is shoulder, elbow and wrist joint. 3. Motion of system in this study is very similar human arm's motion considering that law of inertia and helped effectively delegation of force. 4. Mathematica is useful language as simulation program. Forward it needs study about modeling and simulation on muscle factors, also human body simulation.
Post-operative maxillary cyst related to LeFort I osteotomy: Case report

Post-operative maxillary cysts are locally aggressive lesions that typically develop as delayed complications many years after a Caldwell-Luc operation. This report describes a case of post-operative maxillary cysts following a LeFort I osteotomy performed approximately 7 years ago. The patient complained of stinging pain on her left cheek. Radiographic examination revealed a radiolucency lesion on the left maxillary sinus with a well-defined margin and bone destruction. The cysts were enucleated with the removal of metal plates and screws for pain relief. A histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of post-operative maxillary cysts. The patient has remained asymptomatic thus far, and there was no evidence of local recurrence at the 3-year postoperative follow-up.
Treatment of nevoid basal cell carcinoma syndrome: a case report

Nevoid basal cell carcinoma syndrome (NBCCS), also known as Gorlin syndrome, is characterized by various embryological deformities and carcinoma formation. It is caused by PTCHI gene mutations and is autosomal dominantly inherited. Some of the main symptoms of NBCCS are multiple basal cell carcinomas, multiple keratocystic odontogenic tumors (KCOTs) of the mandible, hyperkeratosis of the palmar and plantar, skeletal deformity, calcification of the falx cerebri, and facial defomity. Recurrent KCOT is the main symptom of NBCCS and is present in approximately 90% of patients. In NBCCS, KCOTs typically occur in multiples. KCOTs can be detected in patients under the age of 10, and new and recurring cysts develop until approximately the age of 30. The postoperation recurrence rate is approximately 60%. This case report presents a 14-year-old female patient with a chief complaint of a cyst found in the maxilla and mandible. The patient was diagnosed with NBCCS, and following treatment of marsupialization and enucleation, the clinical results were satisfactory.

A large-scale construction of waterproof embankment to protect inside development area from a freshwater lake in Saemangeum project will be begun in 2009. Saemangeum waterproof embankment will be over 138km length and have to be constructed to use multi-functional and eco-environmental friendly facilities. As the plan for land use of Saemangeum area, it needs that functional types of waterproof embankment is established with several zones respectively. Therefore, this study is to determine residental site of Saemangeum embankment using GIS.
Evaluation of Temporal Trends of Lead Exposure in Korean Workers Using Workplace Monitoring Data

Background: Lead, which is widely used in various industrial settings, is a major health hazard for manufacturing workers. Therefore, control of lead exposure has been implemented in an effort to prevent lead-related health problems. In this study, our aim was to evaluate temporal trends in occupational lead exposure in Korean lead workers using data from monitoring of workplace exposure. Methods: A nationwide work environment monitoring database, data from a work environment monitoring institution, and data extracted from a review paper were utilized. Different versions of standard industrial classification codes were aligned with the 10th Korean Standard Industrial Classification, which is generally consistent with the 4th revision of the International Standard Industrial Classification. The multiple data sources were combined and temporal trends over the period from 1994–2021 were estimated. In addition, separate estimation of temporal trends in the storage battery manufacturing industry over the period from 1987–2021 was also performed. Results: A total of 444,296 personal airborne lead measurements were used for the estimation process. The temporal trends in occupational exposure to lead declined by −6% annually over the study period. In particular, levels of lead exposure in the storage battery manufacturing industry showed a steeper decline of −12% annually. Conclusions: Findings of our study showed that occupational exposure to lead declined over the period from 1994 to 2021 in Korea. However, adverse effects of exposure to lead on health should be regarded with caution. The results will be useful in conduct of epidemiological studies examining lead-related effects on health.

Normally, the most methods of ground improvement of dike selected by evaluating economical efficiency, constructibility, and merits and demerit of methods simply. However, there are many factors to be considered such as environmental values, durability when selecting methods besides those factors. These factors have not been evaluated objectively but subjectively. The methods of construction depended on economical factor mainly. Therefore, this study is to select the best method of ground improvement of dike using AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) in Gunjang national industrial complex(Janghang site). As the results of this process, the very important factor is stable factor and the best method of construction is different by how to use AHP. Therefore, we recommend the advanced value evaluation to complement the process.
