Background: Reperfusion of ischemic myocardium has been postulated to result in a specific oxygen radical mediated tissue injury. Iron may liberate during ischemia and we hypothesized that administration of the iron chelator, deferoxamine during ischemia would result in improved recovery after postischemic reperfusion. Purpose: To test whether iron-catalyzed processes contribute to myocardial necrosis during ischemia and reperfusion, deferoxamine was administered to block iron catalyzed hydroxyl radical formation in rabbits. Methods: Eleven rabbits were divided into two groups : control group (n=5) and deferoxamine pretreatment group (n=6). The left circumflex coronay artery was ligated for 30 minutes and reperfused for 180 minutes. Area at risk (AR) was measured by non-stained area with methylene blue injection into left atrium after left circumflex coronary artery ligation. Infarct size was measured by weighing after triphenyltetrazolium chloride staining. Heart rate was measured using electrocardiographic recording and systemic blood pressure was monitored by pressure transducer connected to the catheter in the left ventricle. Results: 1. There was no significant difference of heart rate and blood pressure in deferoxamine pretreatment group compared with control group. 2. There was significant decrease of serum iron concentration after continuous infusion of deferoxamine compared with serum iron concentration before ligation of coronary artery(P<0.05). 3. There was no significant difference of area at risk between control and deferoxamine pretreatment group. 4. Area at necrosis to area at risk was significantly reduced in deferoxamine pretreatment group compared with control group(P<0.05). The results suggest that deferoxamine infusion prior to coronary artery occlusion has a significant benefit in reducing infarct size in this model.

In this study, microstructure, size of primary α, solid fraction and hardness of A356 Al alloy were investigated. Semi-solid A356 alloys were obtained by semi-solid continuous casting apparatus consists of melting furnace, formation apparatus of granular primary α and continuous casting apparatus. Size of primary α and solid fraction were decreased with decreasing temperature, and with increasing volume of cooling water. At the cooling water temperature of 15℃ and cooling water volume of 18.2ℓ/min, the sizes of primary α phases were decreased up to 40㎛, and fraction solid was 0.68.

Microstructure of hypereutectic Al-17wt.% Si alloy, fabricated by mechanical stirring and by reheating at semi-solid state, was investigated by optical microscope. Flow behavior semi-solid metal also was investigated at diffentent mould temperatures 280℃, 290℃ and 300℃ . Size of silicon particles were increased over 100㎛ durig solidification as a result of stirring. It is considered as microstructural coarsening by bonding between neighbouring primary silicon particles during stirring of slurry. In case of reheating at semi-state, however, primary silicon particle was not increased at size of 40㎛ and nearly spherical aluminum solde particle also was improved when solid fraction was 0.7 at mould temperature of 300℃ than other conditions.
수질에 따라 서식하는 거미류의 분포 경향성에 관한 연구: 각 하천별 거미상을 중심으로

2016년 5월 28일부터 2016년 8월 8일까지 서울시에 위치한 6개의 하천의 거미상을 조사한 결과, 총 19과 40속 54종이 채집되었다. 수질의 등급에 따라 1a등급 청계천2(서울특별시 성동구 하왕십리동 무학교), 1b등급 양재천(서울특별시 강남구 대치동 대치교), 2등급 도림천(서울특별시 동작구 신대방동 신대방역), 3등급 탄천5(서울특별시 강남구 삼성동 도보교), 4등급 안양천4(서울특별시 구로구 구로동 오금교), 6등급 중랑천4(서울특별시 성동구 성수1동 성동교)에 위치한 각 하천에서 각 9과 11속 13종, 13과 22속 23종, 9과 16속 17종, 9과 13속 16종, 11과 15속 17종, 10과 15속 17종이 채집되었고 수질에 따른 거미의 개체수 경향을 분석해 봤을 때 1, 6등급에서는 가장 적은 개체수가 채집된 반면, 3등급에서 가장 많은 개체수가 채집되었으며 6개의 하천에서 공통적으로 나타난 과로는 꼬마거미과(Theridiidae), 왕거미과(Araneidae), 게거미과(Thomisidae)였다. 수질에 따른 거미의 생활양식 사이의 관계를 분석해 봤을 때, 대부분의 수질에서 정주성 거미가 배회성 거미 개체수보다 많았다. 이는 하천의 교량이나 식생 등 정주성 거미가 거미줄을 치고 생활하기에 더 유리하기 때문이라고 생각되며 이에 결과를 보고하고자 한다. From May 28th to August 8th in 2016, after investing the spider fauna in six streams located in Seoul. authors collected a total of 19 families 40 genera 54 species. Those streams were divided into the six-level based on water quality as follows: Choeng-gyecheon lever 1a (Hawangsim-ri, Seongdong-gu, Seoul), Yangjaecheon level 1b (Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seou), Dorimcheon level 2 (Sindaebang-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul), Tancheon level 3 (Samsung-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul), An-yangcheon level 4 (Ogeum Bridge, Guro-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul), Jungnangcheon level 6 (Seongsu-ldong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul). 9 families 11 genera 13 species. 13 families 22 genera 23 species, 9 families 16 genera 17 species, 9 families 13 genera 16 species, 11 families 15 genera 17 species, 10 families 15 genera 17 species were collected in the above streams. Authors’ analysis have found that stream at level 3 has the largest number of spiders, while level 1 and 6 have the fewest numbers. Spiders the six streams have in common are Theridiidae, Araneidae and Thomisidae. When analyzing spiders’ life styles on varying water quality, settling spiders have much more populations than wandering spiders at all levels of water. It is assumed that living conditions, including making webs under the bridges are more advantageous to settling spiders.

Background: Angiographic stenosis of a jailed side-branch ostium is usually observed after single-stent crossover at coronary bifurcation lesions. But the severity of stenosis is mostly overestimated due to the limited information of 2-dimensional morphology by angiography. We sought to evaluate the actual stenosis of jailed side-branch ostium by a 3-dimensional (3D) optical coherence tomography (OCT). Methods: With 3D reconstructions of OCT data, minimal lumen area (MLA) and eccentricity of jailed side-branch ostium were analyzed in 41 patients who were treated with single stent crossover at coronary bifurcation lesions and underwent serial OCT follow-up. Results: MLA of jailed side-branch ostium calculated from quantitative coronary angiography (QCA) assuming a circular lumen markedly decreased after stent implantation (from 1. 73±0. 19 mm2 pre-intervention to 0. 85±0. 14 mm2 post-intervention, p<0. 01). However, MLA of jailed side-branch ostium measured by 3D-OCT (2. 66±0. 27 mm2) was signifi cantly larger than that by QCA (p<0. 001) at post-intervention. There were no statistically signifi cant changes of MLA of jailed side-branch ostium by 3D-OCT measurements during the follow-up (2. 35±0. 23 mm2 3-6 months post-intervention; 2. 44±0. 19 mm2 1-2 years post-intervention, p = 0. 098). Shapes of jailed side-branch ostium were almost ellipse (mean eccentricity index: 2. 97±0. 19 post-intervention; 2. 79±0. 18 3-6 months post-intervention; 2. 59 ±0. 16 1-2 years post-intervention). Conclusions: Compared to 3D-OCT measurements, QCA measurements overestimated the jailed side-branch ostial stenosis after single stent crossover due to eccentric morphology from orthogonal projection in coronary angiography. The signifi cant changes of MLA of jailed side-branch ostium by 3D-OCT were not observed during the follow- up.

In this paper, propose an algorithm to improve network lifetime by equally consuming energy of LEACH - Mobile sensor nodes. LEACH is one of energy efficient protocols. However, we did not consider the mobility of nodes. Therefore, the transmission reception success rate of the moving data is reduced. LEACH-Mobile is a protocol that has improved the drawbacks of these LEACH. However, since LEACH-Mobile has a larger number of data packets and consumes more energy than LEACH, it has a disadvantage that the lifetime of the network is short. In order to improvement these disadvantage, Based on the average of the remaining energy of the node, cluster heads are elected with a number of nodes whose energies are larger than the average of the remaining energy from the member nodes. After that, by trying to increase the lifetime of the network by equalizing the remaining energy. In to confirm whether improve the lifetime of the network, In this paper, the number of nodes and the position of all nodes are varied for each specific round, the rest energy is equalized, and the algorithm which uniformly selected the cluster head is compared with LEACH.

Background/Aims: Hepatitis C virus (HCV) replicates in the peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), leading to the production of type I interferons (IFNs). It is well known that the gene expression profile of PBMC is similar to that of the liver. The present study explored the dynamic gene expression profile of PBMCs collected from HCV-infected patients undergoing direct-acting antiviral (DAA) therapy. Methods: A prospective cohort comprising 27 patients under DAA therapy was formed. Expression level of IFN-β and its downstream interferon-stimulated genes (ISGs) was measured in PBMCs before and after DAA treatment. Furthermore, immunoblotting was performed to identify the signaling molecules involved in the expression of ISGs. Results: The pretreatment expression level of interferon-induced protein 44 (IFI44) and C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 10 (CXCL10) correlated with the pretreatment expression level of IFN-β. After DAA treatment, a significant decrease in the expression levels of IFN-β, IFI44, and CXCL10 was observed in the PBMCs. Furthermore, the pretreatment expression level of IFN-β and ISGs correlated with the level of signal transducer and activator of transcription 1 (STAT1) phosphorylation, and DAA treatment abrogated STAT1 phosphorylation. Conclusions: Pretreatment activation of IFN-β response is rapidly normalized after DAA treatment. The present study suggests that the decreased type I IFN response by the clearance of HCV might contribute to DAA-induced alleviation of extrahepatic manifestation of chronic HCV infection. This paper analyzes the design factors for GNSS anti-jamming receiver system in which the adaptive beamforming algorithm is applied in GNSS receiver system. The design analysis factors used in this paper are divided into three: antenna, beamforming algorithm, and operation environment. This paper analyzes the above three factors and presents numerical simulation results on antenna and beamforming algorithm.
