The purpose of this study was to analyze the estimating of parking demand in apartment complexes and was compared the number of vehicle with parking regulations. In this study, parking regulations was highly in large scale residential area, and the other hand small scale was lowly. Moreover, residential area and the number or vehicle were correlated, but residential area and parking regulations ratio were not correlated. Estimating models of parking demand developed in this study, are expected to generate available data in site planning and apartment complexes.

Splenic abscess is a rare illness. Its incidence has ranged from 0.14 to 0.7 % in various autopsies conducted in the US. Even in the most recently published articles, diagnosis was made only in autopsies in 37 % of the cases. While splenic abscess may arise occasionally from contiguous spread of infection or direct trauma to the spleen, usually it develops with hematogenous spread or infection. But, bacterial endocarditis is the most common cause. RUQ pain of abdomen developed in only half of series. Splenomegaly, fever and leucocytosis was also present. When splenic abscesses are being considered in a differential diagnosis, CT scan of the abdomen has been the most sensitive diagnostic tool. Streptococcal species are the most common bacterial isolates from splenic abscesses, S. aureus is the next most common. Salmonella species are seen commonly in patients with sickle cell hemoglobinopathy. Because of the high mortality related for splenic abscess, the treatment of choice is splenectomy with adjunctive antibiotics. However, percutaneous drainage has been successful alternative. We reported a 19-years old female patient who had splenic abscess after remission induction chemotherapy of acute leukemia, successfully treated with splenectomy.

개국약사들의 환경 문제에 대한 의식 분석 : The Subject of Studies in Pusan & Ulsan Areas 부산 ·울산 지역을 대상으로

The rapid increase of the population, the urban concentration and the high growth of the industrial development produced the environmental pollution, destroyed the balance of the natural ecosystem, falled in human's circumstances. They are influenced the serious problem that the whole human race should face. Especially in case of my country, establishing five-year economics development since 1960, we promoted the plan. To the conclusion, we could be satisfied in some degree economically. But we overlooked over the damage of the environmental pollution. According to the quality of the surroundings get feeble damage of natural ecosystem and the pollution of our living environments. So we recognize the environmental pollution as the serious social problem. On this point of view, on the premise that our pharmacists as the special intellectuals are responsible for the environmental pollution. Here upon I posed questions and examined the interest of the phamacists about the environmental problem. As follows if I summarize the total contents. 1. About the environmental pollution of my dwelling place, most of us suffer damage and we are the assaulters of it. In particular the dwellers of the factory districts are damaged much. 2. As the media for the acknowledgement about the environmental pollution and the acquirement of recognition, most of pharmacists get acknowledgement printing media about environmental pollution. Accordingly they need the special education about the environmental pollution. 3. We cannot confine the responsibility of the environmental pollution to individual. I should emphasize the public obligation. As and individual, enterprises, a government, so on we all citizens feel emphasize about environmental problem. We already know the importance of duty about it. On the other hand, we practice unsatisfactorily in our daily lives. So the intellectuals should pay mere attention to it. 4. Posing questions about the protestation of the opinions against the environmental pollution and taking exception to it. Most of respondents said "No experience". In spite of their discontent about it, they didn't cope with the positive solutions. Also the low rate of the participation in Environment Purification Movement is caused by the working conditions of the from opening pharmacists is considered (Working time ; Daily Average about 15 hours). To these conclusions, the pharmacists so called the special intelligents need the education about the environmental pollution. As the main group of the Environment Purification Movement, household the enterprises, a government all of us ought to have the reform of conciousness for the public duties. We should introduce better program that gives warning to the environmental pollution in the press, not temporarily but persistently. We demands the practical Environmental Policy about the people's demands for the living in delightful circumstances.

선인장과 빙초산에 의한 원발성 자극 피부염

Cactus is a worldwidly distributed ornamental plant with irritant hairs, some cacti species have juices that are powerful primary irritants. There are several reports of contact dermatitis related to topical application of cacti in the English literatures. Acetic acid is a highly irritant strong acid and corrosive agent. It causes chemical bum or primary irritant contact dermatitis. A 64 year old female patient was suffered from painful edema, erythema, ulcer and vesicle on dorsum of left hand. The symptom was caused by contact with crushed cacti dissolved in industrial grade acetic acid as a folk medicine for the treatment of scaly patch on dorsum of left hand. The skin lesion of the patient was healed leaving fibrosing scar with the limitation of finger movements.

대규모 도시시설의 주변지역에 발생하는 지역시설의 분포실태와 그 변화에 관한 연구

The aim of this study is to develope a method of prediction of the distribution and changes of community facilities through the analysis of those of community facilities according to the times; the past and the present. In this study, we surveyed several areas around railway station in the city of Osaka, Japan. It clarified that the distribution patterns of facilities mainly depend on the size of the large scale facility and threshold population. As a result, patterns of facilities distribution was found four different types-decreasing, unchanged, increasing and exceptional. And, in this cases, decresing type is popular around a large scale facility.

스트림 응용을 위한 데이터 관리

Traditional database applications store data into a disk, and process queries on the stored database, later, to get needed information in general. Recently new types of applications have been widely recognized, in which applying such traditional data processing model is not appropriate. In these new applications, information is composed of a series of continuous data value. A data stream occurs continuously. It has real-time property. It is an infinite sequence of data items ordered based on the order of arrival or timestamps. For data stream applications, it is highly required to manage data streams, and to process them efficiently. This paper surveys some new issues needed to manage data streams. It also describes recent research results for data stream management.

주문형 방송을 위한 전력 절약형 인덱싱

Asymmetry in Mobile computing environment includes that mobile clients have very limited resources compared to the broadcast servers. Especially, battery capacities are one of important resources that determines the availability of mobile clients. So, data broadcast techniques in mobile computing environments need not only rapid delivery of requested data but also efficient data delivery mechanisms which can reduce battery consumption for mobile clients. This paper describes an index hint mechanism for on-demand data broadcast environment, which enables mobile clients to spend less power consumption by reducing their tuning time. Unlike periodic data broadcast where future broadcast time for data items are determined in advance, broadcast decision on on-demand data broadcast is determined dynamically based on systems' current workload. Therefore, this paper proposes an approach to estimate data broadcast time for a set of data items so that index mechanism can be applied for on- demand data broadcast. It also describes how to organize and apply index hints using the estimated broadcast time for data item. The proposed techniques enable clients to monitor the broadcast channel only when data items requested by them are likely to be broadcast, and thereby to spend less power consumption. Simulation results show that the proposed index hint mecanism effectively reduces the tuning time of mobile clients.

위 유문동 평활근세포의 Caffeine 활성화 전류에 미치는 Ascorbate의 효과

In order to observe the effects of ascorbate on the background current in pyloric circular smooth muscle cells, caffeine of which action was fairly clarified, was used to induce the current systems. To block all of the known currents, various blocking agents were added in the external bathing solution. A part of pyloric circular muscle tissue was excised out, and enzymatic isolation technique was used to obtain Ca^2+ -tolerant single circular muscle cells. The whole cell mode of patch-clamp experiment was conducted. The results were as follows : 1. Ascorbate induced the increase of inward currents in the hyperpolarized potential ranges, and quite a large increase of outward currents in the depolarized ranges. 2. Caffeine also induced similar results, but the magnitude of outward current was smaller than that of assorbate in the depolarized ranges. 3. These phenomena were disappeared by addition of the anion channel blocker. 4. Replacement of external NaCl with NMG·Cl was rarely affected the effects of ascorbate and and caffeine. But the effects of ascorbate and caffeine were almost abolished when sxternal Cl^- was substituted for aspartate. These results suggested that ascorbate affected chloride current which thought as a component of the background currents in the pyloric circular smooth muscle cells.

저 나트륨용액이 심근 칼슘 저장고에 미치는 효과

In order to investigate the effect of low sodium (79 mM) Tyrode solution on intracellular calcium pool of cardiac muscle, a rabbit ventricular papillary muscle preparation was excised out to a in vitro contraction chamber and the isometric contraction of the preparation was recorded in a normal Tyrode solution by a control stimuli (1 Hz.)and then the intracellular calcium was activated by a priming (5 Hz.) stimuli for 5 seconds. After the priming stimuli, rest period for I to 320 seconds were applied and the amplitude of a contraction by a test stimulus over that by a previous control stimuli were plotted in a semi-logarithmic fashion with respect to the time of rest period. The experiment was continued in normal Tyrode solutions and low; 79 mM, sodium solution which was believed to increase the intracellular calcium possibly by a Na/Ca exchange mechanism across the sarcolemma. The following results were obtained; 1. The disapperance rate of intracellular calcium, expressed as the ratio of contraction amplitude with respect to time of rest period in a normal Tyrode solution, showed fast component within 3 to 5 seconds and slow component after 5 seconds. 2. The contractile amplitude showed and increased according to the decrease of outside Na^+ 105.2±3.48% (Mean±S.E.) in l4OmM, 116.5±2.6% in l2OmM, 162.6±8.8% in 100mM and 191.4±9.1% in 79mM Na^+ respectively. In 40-60mM Na^+ there were no contractions or extrasystole-like one. 3. When outside sodium was lowered to 79 mM, the fast component showed no significant difference with the control one but the slow component showed rather increasing tendency up to 20 seconds and decayed thereafter. The above results could be interpreted as that the intracellular calcium pool was composed of the two fast and slow components and the intracellular calcium was increased, the characteristics of the pool was changed possibly by Na/Ca exchange mechanism in low sodium solution.
