      • 세분화된 특징점을 이용한 인쇄체 한글문자인식에 관한 연구

        한글문자 인식방법은 문자형을 분류하고 분류된 문자형에 따라 자음과 모음을 분리하고 분리된 자소를 각각 인식하였다. 본 시스템에서는 문자형 분류과정을 거치지 않고 세분화된 특징점을 이용하여 모음을 인식하면서 자음을 분리하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 모음인식과 동시에 자음분리 방법의 장점은 문자형 분류과정이 생략되므로 입력영상의 반복적 재탐색이 불필요하기 때문에 인식속도를 높일 수 있으며, 분리된 자음은 단점의 방향성만을 이용하여 인식하므로 인식속도를 한층 더 개선시킬 수 있다. Usually Korean Character Recognitions is, first classifying seen-type and from the classified seen-type, separating consonants and vowels and then recognizing separated consonants and vowels respectively. This paper describes our new approach, without classifying seen-type, recognizing vowels using subdivided features and separating consonants. Recognizing vowels and separating consonants at the same time, with omitting seen=type classification and unnecessary repeated searching, can increase the recognition speed. Recognizing separated consonants with only the direction of terminal features, can enhance the recognition speed all the more.

        20세기 초 기능주의 중심의 바우하우스에서부터 보여 지는 미니멀 스타일은 60년대에 이르러 비로소 “미니멀리즘”으로 명명되었으며, 미니멀의 확고한 스타일을 가지고, 20세기 전반에 걸쳐 모든 디자인 분야-패션, 실내 디자인-에 지대한 영향을 끼쳐왔다. 기능주의적 단순함을 추구하는 미니멀 스타일은 모더니즘의 극단적인 표현으로써, 60년대 후반 모더니즘의 퇴조와 함께 서서히 영향력이 감소되었다가 20세기 후반 포스트모더니즘 시대에의 다원화 현상의 한 주류로 다시금 우리 생활 문화 전반에 걸쳐 나타나고 있으며, 그 영향력은 21세기인 현재에도 더욱 강력하게 계속되고 있다. 본 연구는 포스트 모더니즘적 경향이 지배적인 현시대에 재등장한 미니멀 스타일에 대한 현상을 분석함으로써 모더니즘시대의 미니멀 스타일과의 차별성을 이해하고 그 의미를 재조명하고자 한다. In the early 20th century, the minimal style which was shown from the Bauhaus, in the 60's which was called "the minimalism" for the first time, which had definite style, in the center of functionalism had a great effect on design, fashion and interior design through the first half of the 20th century. As the minimal style which pursued the simplicity of functionalism was the modernism's extreme expression, in the end of 60's it declined gradually as well as the modernism but in the end of the 20th century, it has reappeared in our current life culture as one of the trend of the pluralism phenomenon in the post-modernism age and its effect is going on nowadays more and more strongly. In this project, analyzing the phenomenon of minimal style which was revived in the post-modernism age, we hope to understand differences between the minimal style in the modernism age and that in the post-modernism age, and substantiate again the meanings of them.

        비선형 최적화문제의 해결을 위한 개선된 유전알고리즘의 연구

        Genetic Algorithms have been successfully applied to various problems (for example, engineering design problems with a mix of continuous, integer and discrete design variables) that could not have been readily solved with traditional computational techniques. But, several problems for which conventional Genetic Algorithms are ill defined are premature convergence of solution and application of exterior penalty function. Therefore, we developed an Improved Genetic Algorithms(IGAs) to solve above two problems. As a case study, IGAs is applied to several nonlinear optimization problems and it is proved that this algorithm is very useful and efficient in comparison with traditional methods and conventional Genetic Algorithm.

        초등학교 아동의 진로인식 수준과 기초적성 및 학업 흥미와의 관계

        1. The purpose of the study The purpose of this study was to find out the relationships among career awareness, basic aptitudes and scholastic interests of children. The problems of this study were as follows: First, are there any significant differences in the levels of career awareness, basic aptitudes and scholastic interests of children by sex? Second, are there any significant correlations between career awareness and basic aptitudes of children? Third, are there any significant correlations between career awareness and scholastic interests of children? Fourth, are there any significant correlations between basic aptitudes and scholastic interests of children? 2. The methods of the study The subject for this study were 620 primary school boys and girls(315 boys, 305 girls), which were randomly sampled out of five primary schools in Seoul area. The instruments used for this study were 「Career Awareness Scale」 which was developed by Shin(1997), 「Basic Aptitudes Test」 which was developed by Seoul Institute of Education Research and 「Scholastic Interests Test」 which was developed by Jung & Kim(1989). The data analyses were performed using SPSS/PC+ program with mean, standard deviation, t-test, simple correlation analysis. All statistic value were tested in the significant level of .05. 3. The result of the study The results of statistical analyses on this study were as follows: First, there were significant differences on career awareness by sex. Girls scored higher than boys. There were significant differences on career awareness ability(p<.001). However, no significant differences were found on career awareness attitude. There were significant differences on basic aptitudes by sex. Girls scored higher than boys. There were significant differences on verbal (p<.O5) and numerical aptitude(p<.O1). However, no significant differences were found on social and scientific aptitude(p<.05). There were significant differences on scholastic interests by sex. Girls scored higher than boys on literary , musical, artistic and domestic interest(p<.001). And boys scored higher than girls on social, scientific, mechanical, athletic interest(p<.001). Second, there were significant differences on basic aptitudes according to the level of career awareness attitude and ability(p<.01). There were significant correlations between career awareness and basic aptitudes(more than r=.70). Career awareness ability correlated with social aptitude(r=.79) highestly and with numerical aptitude(r=.53) lowestly. Career awareness attitude correlated with verbal, social and scientific aptitude(more than r=.60). Third, there were partially significant differences on scholastic interests according to the level of career awareness(p<.01). There were significant differences on scientific aptitude(p<.01) according to career awareness ability. And there Were significant differences on social aptitude(p<.01) according to career awareness attitude. There were significant correlations between career awareness and scholastic interests(more than r=.60). Fourth, there were partially significant differences on basic aptitudes according to the level of scholastic interests(p<.05). There were significant correlations between verbal aptitude and literary interest(r=.71), numerical aptitude and literary interest(r=.75), scientific aptitude and scientific interest(r=.75).

        The 21st century is referred to as the digital era. Living in such an era, we may lead the era according to how much we understand the direction and the speed of change and how quickly and positively we respond to it. And we should swallow pains for survival. Changes of industrial society brought changes of design as well as economic growth, and influenced much upon the field of education according to the change of industrial manpower policy. And, on the level of lifelong vocational education, the advent of cyber college, activation of cyber lesson and earnest opening of education market are positively demanding changes of professional education. In reality, the concept that the educational purpose of college is the pursuit of truth is falling off from the field of college education. Now, all fields of societies of the world are being diversified, specialized and subdivided because of the advent of information age and knowledge-based economic society. And individual's creativity and competence are being emphasized more than ever. It is an era when creativity and knowledge become fundamentals of competence and motive power of accumulation of wealth. Especially for Korea which is short of national resources, it can be said that it is the motive power of national prosperity to develop and use superior human resources with such creativity and knowledge It seems reasonable, for voluntarily responding to this and rearing professional manpower which is required in industrial society, to change into custom-made educational system of grasping the analysis on job ability of industrial bodies more correctly, understanding the content of knowledge required for professional designer, and reflecting them actively in the course of education. The custom-made education is the institution which was introduced for the purpose of implementing junior college's peculiar educational function of rearing professional manpower, and is taking root as the new educational system of junior college. It can be said that the custom-made education is the institution in which schools carry out education according to the order of industrial bodies, the consumers of education. That is, from abstract viewpoint, it can be said that the custom-made education is the consumer-centered education which overcomes previous supplier-centered unilateral & standardized educational method and implements education according to the demand of industrial bodies, the consumers of education. So it can be defined as the institution in which schools break off unilateral educational method which is centered upon schools & professors, the suppliers of education, receive order for contents of education, necessary manpower, etc. from industrial bodies, the consumers of education, and implement education according to the order or the requirement of such industrial bodies. Namely, the custom-made education can be referred to as the institution to rear superior professionals required by industrial bodies, and consequently remove wasteful factors necessary for re-education and adaptation training in industrial bodies, and strengthen competences of industrial bodies and the state. This study intends to consolidate education and rear professionals of knowledge society by understanding & analyzing, from such a viewpoint, general theory and present condition of management about the custom-made education of each junior college which is now being propelled, grasping the job realities of industrial bodies, examining contents and level of knowledge which industrial bodies are expecting from education of computer graphic design, and including them in curriculum. For this, correct diagnosis of job analysis of industrial bodies and counter-plan are urgently needed. It is necessary to investigate and analyze, and consequently present educational direction of junior college. Therefore, in this study, I intended to help with presenting more realistic and concrete educational direction of the major of computer graphic design by grasping job realities of industrial bodies and investigating industrial bodies demand for education.

        This paper is about the soft switching boost half bridge converter. It is operated with dead time between on time of Q1 and Q2. It can be minimized the switching loss by the resonance due to the parasitic capacitance and the leakage inductance, thus it can be operated at higher switching frequency. We can expect the higher power density in this soft switching power converter. Also the transformer primary current ware is tringle, it can be reduced the ripple and EMI, the higher efficiency is expected.

      • Poly-by-pole d-q 모델에 의한 선형유도전동기의 벡터제어 시뮬레이션

        In the modelling of LIM for analysis and control, it is required to take account of an unbalanced air gap due to its structural chracteristics. Pole-by-pole d-q model that established each secondary imaginary pole in respect to each primary pole, has been used to analyse transient and steady states of LIM. In his paper, the vector control simulation of LIM was performed by pole-by-pole d-q model. As a result, the simulation showed good performance.
