        The 21st century is referred to as the digital era. Living in such an era, we may lead the era according to how much we understand the direction and the speed of change and how quickly and positively we respond to it. And we should swallow pains for survival. Changes of industrial society brought changes of design as well as economic growth, and influenced much upon the field of education according to the change of industrial manpower policy. And, on the level of lifelong vocational education, the advent of cyber college, activation of cyber lesson and earnest opening of education market are positively demanding changes of professional education. In reality, the concept that the educational purpose of college is the pursuit of truth is falling off from the field of college education. Now, all fields of societies of the world are being diversified, specialized and subdivided because of the advent of information age and knowledge-based economic society. And individual's creativity and competence are being emphasized more than ever. It is an era when creativity and knowledge become fundamentals of competence and motive power of accumulation of wealth. Especially for Korea which is short of national resources, it can be said that it is the motive power of national prosperity to develop and use superior human resources with such creativity and knowledge It seems reasonable, for voluntarily responding to this and rearing professional manpower which is required in industrial society, to change into custom-made educational system of grasping the analysis on job ability of industrial bodies more correctly, understanding the content of knowledge required for professional designer, and reflecting them actively in the course of education. The custom-made education is the institution which was introduced for the purpose of implementing junior college's peculiar educational function of rearing professional manpower, and is taking root as the new educational system of junior college. It can be said that the custom-made education is the institution in which schools carry out education according to the order of industrial bodies, the consumers of education. That is, from abstract viewpoint, it can be said that the custom-made education is the consumer-centered education which overcomes previous supplier-centered unilateral & standardized educational method and implements education according to the demand of industrial bodies, the consumers of education. So it can be defined as the institution in which schools break off unilateral educational method which is centered upon schools & professors, the suppliers of education, receive order for contents of education, necessary manpower, etc. from industrial bodies, the consumers of education, and implement education according to the order or the requirement of such industrial bodies. Namely, the custom-made education can be referred to as the institution to rear superior professionals required by industrial bodies, and consequently remove wasteful factors necessary for re-education and adaptation training in industrial bodies, and strengthen competences of industrial bodies and the state. This study intends to consolidate education and rear professionals of knowledge society by understanding & analyzing, from such a viewpoint, general theory and present condition of management about the custom-made education of each junior college which is now being propelled, grasping the job realities of industrial bodies, examining contents and level of knowledge which industrial bodies are expecting from education of computer graphic design, and including them in curriculum. For this, correct diagnosis of job analysis of industrial bodies and counter-plan are urgently needed. It is necessary to investigate and analyze, and consequently present educational direction of junior college. Therefore, in this study, I intended to help with presenting more realistic and concrete educational direction of the major of computer graphic design by grasping job realities of industrial bodies and investigating industrial bodies demand for education.

      • 디자인 교육에 있어서 컴퓨터 도입에 의한 변화와 발전 방안에 관한 연구

        Nowdays, design education is at a turning point. Economic conditions let more compete industries and design education is changing with change mass which communicate society. In other words as growing mass media and developing Web sites which provide Text·Picture· Animation·Audio·Virtual reality·Interactive, mankind is in contact with new designs. As science develops rapidly and popularization of computer use, various cultures and change of information are realized, rapid progress of computers let us try to find new methodology of education in design field in the demand or supply side. Especially, digital nerve systems : computer information is used in many field-architecture·broadcasting movie·medical science·aviation·national defence·education and so on. At this point, computer design education has not reached its maturity level and is in age of transition and get into difficulty because of sufficient of education contents·lack of education facility·unsatisfied of industrial-educational cooperation and there are problems awaiting solutions. Therefore purpose of this research is to analyze of design education consents and change education with introduction of computers, so plan to present problem of design education and develop a plan. So progress way of this research is that looking into transition process of design education·computer concept and system organization. And then plan to understand of design education and change of design education as introduction of computers.

      • 디자인 교육에 있어 체계적인 창조성 개발에 관한 연구

        The design activity is a process for creative problem solution through three steps: the first step that understands the problem by grasping the situation as a creative process that the activity itself makes new works making something out of nothing, the second step that conceives various solutions for solving it and the third step that analyzes an alternative plan and chooses a best proposal. The originality needs in all the steps of these design processes and it is essential to create good design, also it is a basic element. Furthermore, as the humans demand becomes complex, variety and a high degree, the role of originality with close relations with design revolution becomes important more in the modem situation that expects the new meanings and values of the products. As this originality becomes drop by posterior habitat factor, it does not demonstrate its role sufficiently, But this latent originality can be developed of the function through train and education. Accordingly, this study is to grope for education method for originality development that can be adopted to meet the needs of the times.

      • Multimedia가 산업과 시장에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : Multimedia 시대를 어떻게 살아갈 것인가

        As the construction of infrastructure that can supply Multimedia services on a basis of the internet begins to spread to the world at large, the movement for positively making use of digital data in the design field also arises. This study Is to examine the effect that Multimedia extends over the industry and the market as a main theme. As the word like Multimedia appears in Mass Communication everyday, there are loud cries that the main industry in the twenty-one century will be related Multimedia industries. The appearance of Multimedia Personal Computer and the information Super-highway plan of the United States of America accelerate take-off to the era of Multimedia. Until now, the information treated of Personal Computer mainly have taken the central place in a character and a numeral, but all the sound, the image and the animation can be freely treated equipped with CD-ROM Player because of the appearance of Multimedia Personal Computer. It is a serious and fascinating power and at one time, the Multimedia market becomes widely popularization. As a result of it, it Is in different size. In addition, it will be full of hope as the Multimedia Personal Computer comes to combine with high-speed telecommunication circuit of optical fiber. Al Gore, the Vice-president of U.S.A., said that he would realize a word information Super highway that can bind the whole U.S.A. by the early of 21s1 century and the key that would hold hegemony of the world hereafter would be rightly the work information. The expectation of persons who surrounds Multimedia becomes larger day by day, but when we take a cool view of it, the reality of Multimedia is not clear, The reason is why it treats various sores like a character, a numeral, a sound, an image and an animation, etc. as one. At any rate, the appearance of Multimedia has changed the human thought and communication and we can only estimate the substance of Multimedia technical and economical effect in that respect that it will arise a cultural and social wavelength. Multimedia spreads toward huge region including culture, society and environment, etc. This study is to start in the viewpoints of Media in our daily life like books, magazines, newspapers, weekly magazines, radio, TV, movies, tapes and CD, etc., also it is to chiefly examine the effect that Multimedia reaches to the industry and the market.
