        석조문화재 균열부 보존처리 충전제의 현황과 임상실험 고찰 - 활석을 혼합 한 충전제의 표면변화를 중심으로 -

        석조문화재 균열부분과 표면 마무리를 위한 보존처리는 현재까지 에폭시수지에 다양한 충전제를 혼합하여 사용하게 된다. 장기적 보존을 위해 이와 같은 보존처리는 필요하다. 하지만 보존처리 된 54건에 대한 현장조사와 임상실험 결과 충전제 중 활석이 포함된 경우 표면변색과 균열 등 재 손상이 확인되었다. 현장조사는 수리보고서와 처리 담당자 인터뷰, 현미경조사, 현장에서 수습한 처리 시편의 ICP 분석을 병행하여 활석 사용여부를 확인하였다. 임상실험은 현장조사에서 확인된 활석에 의한 영향평가를 위해 촉진내후성시험 후 색차와 초음파측정을 실시하였으며 그 결과 활석이 포함된 시편에서의 물성저하가 두드러졌다. 따라서 향후 균열부분 보존처리는 활석의 사용은 자제하고 동질 석분만을 충전제로 선택하여 처리할 것을 제안한다. It is used for the epoxy resin, a mixture of various fillers conservation of cracks of the stone cultural heritage. Such as conservation treatment is need to for long-term conservation. However, field research and experiments on the conservation treatment results when included 54 cases of talc filler was confirmed that the damage, such as discoloration and cracks. The field research is talc was used to determine whether the reports and conservator interviews conducted, microscopy, ICP analysis of the samples collected from the field site. Experiments is color difference measurement and Ultrasonic measurement were arried out, and artificial weathering tests to investigate the effect of talc. As a result, lower the property of matter of the samples containing the talc. Therefore, we propose that the selection process is not allowed to use talc as the filler of stone powder filler cracks is conservation treatment.

        마늘 추출물이 간 손상 랫드의 조직학적 변화에 미치는 효과 연구

        In this study we examined the effects of water extract of garlic on carbon tetrachloride-induced liver injury, and demonstrated increased beneficial enzyme and anti-oxidant activity as well as histopathological changes (by Hematoxylin-Eosin (H&E) staining, Trichrome staining, and TEM examination), and showed that the treatment was dose-dependent and safe. A total of 42 male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided equally (n=7) into six groups. To induce hepatotoxicity in these subjects, carbon tetrachloride diluted in an equal volume of olive oil was intraperitoneally administrated at 0.5 ml/kg (0.20 g/kg/day) once a day for five days. Water extract of Korean-grown garlic was administered via a stomach sonde once a day, 5 days a week, for a total of 4 weeks. Groups received 0.35 g/kg (E1), 0.70 g/kg (E2), or 1.40 g/kg (E3), with the dose adjusted for body weight. Administration of garlic extract resulted in positive physiological effects in terms of reduced oxidative stress and toxicity, and induced functional changes in the liver. Comparing the subject groups (E1, E2, E3) administered different doses of garlic extract, the importance of morphological analysis in further studies is emphasized, because morphological changes indicating hepatotoxicity could occur, even though beneficial enzyme activities were found to be elevated.

      • 울산반구대암각화 보존처리를 위한 현장적용실험

        Field experiments for Conservation damage on selected spots were carried out prior to direct conservation treatments for Bangudae Petroglyphs in Ulsan. It was found that there is a big difference in treatment effects according to the treatment technique and application rather than on the treatment material use. Based on the results of this study, a plan for the conservation treatment of Bangudae Petroglyphs will be suggested by providing new materials and application techniques for cracks, adhesive application and consolidation by conducting artificial weathering tests and continued monitoring. 울산 반구대 암각화는 1965년 축조된 사연댐으로 인해 매년 4~8개월간 침수와 노출을 반복하면서 훼손이 진행되고 있다. 이에 직접적 보존처리에 앞서 현장적용실험을 위한 사이트를 선정하여 각각의 손상을 제어할 수 있는 보존처리를 실시하였다. 모든 처리에는 비파괴조사를 실시하여 처리 전 후를 정량적으로 평가하였으며 모니터링을 위한 기초자료를 구축하였다. 실험 결과 처리재료보다 처리기술과 적용방법에 따라 처리효과에서 큰 차이를 보였다. 특히 에틸실리케이트 수지를 이용한 강화처리는 처리방법에 따라 초음파 속도 및 에코팁 경도상승이 확연히 구분된 결과를 도출하였다.

        A four-parameter corresponding-states-principle framework has been employed to improve the thermophysical properties prediction of the polar halogenated hydrocarbons(halocarbons). The equation of state used here is the Benedict-Webb-Rubin-Starling(BWRS) equation. Reduced dipole moment is considered as the fourth parameter. And its constants have been generalized. The newly developed correlation with the generalized constants exhibits improved predictions of density, enthalpy and especially vapor pressure for halocarbons with high dipole moment without a sacrifice of predictability on low polar halocarbons.

        후두 손상 유발시킨 랫드에 칡잎추출물을 투여하여 스트레스 경감효과에 미치는 영향

        Objectives: This study aims to investigate the effects of voice disorders on changes in stress among people with damaged larynxes. To accomplish this, physiological changes and reductions in the stress of Sprague-Dawley rats whose larynx had been damaged were investigated after the laboratory animals were administered kudzu leaf extracts with sedative effects. Methods: In the experiment, a total of 24 rats were divided into four groups of six rats, including the normal group, control group, experimental group 1, and experimental group 2. After orally administering to the subjects a predetermined amount of the extract at a specific time (once per day over five weeks), changes in physiological functions, internal organ weight, cortisol, estrogen, and progesterone in the subjects were examined, and an immunological test was conducted on their brain tissues. Results: Statistical significance was seen in the experimental group as opposed to the control group and the results were similar to those of the normal group. Conclusions: In consideration of these results, it is deemed that there are severe effects on stress due to voice disorders and that the administration of kudzu leaf extracts results in improvement in stress.

        정조(正祖) 초장지(初葬地) 출토 옥의 과학적 분석 및 보존처리

        This research aims to understand the precise character of relics based on literature search and material analysis of the jade excavated from the first buried place of King Jung-jo, and to assess the level of damage through non-destructive diagnosis. Furthermore, scientific conservation treatment was used to restore the original shape of the excavated jade. According to literature search, the excavated jade is known to be jasper, but material analysis showed that it was as a serpentine with the mineral composition of antigorite. Infrared thermography analysis to assess deterioration showed that the internal damage is the result of the interstices developed along the boundary surface of the obtained jade. For conservation treatment of the damaged area on the surface, the jade was filled with a mixture of plaster and glue, and covered with a mixture of acrylic paint and gloss medium for protection, and color was adjusted. 본 연구는 정조 초장지에서 출토된 옥에 대한 문헌조사와 재질분석을 통해 유물의 재질 특성을 밝히고 비파괴진단을 통해 출토 옥의 손상도를 평가하였다. 또한 과학적 보존처리를 실시하여 출토 옥의 원형을 복원하였다. 문헌조사 결과 출토 옥은 벽옥으로 알려졌으나 재질분석 결과, 출토 옥은 안티고라이트(Antigorite) 광물조성의 사문암으로 판단된다. 열화상분석 등 손상도 평가 결과 내부손상 부분은 포획물의 경계면을 따라 발달한 간극에 의한 것으로 나타난다. 표면손상 부분의 보존처리는 석고와 아교를 혼합하여 충전하였으며 보존처리용 아크릴물감과 그로스미디엄을 혼합한 후 색맞춤하였다.

      • 3D 프린터를 활용한 원주 법천사지 지광국사탑 실물모형 제작

        지광국사탑 실물모형 제작은 기존의 모르타르 복원부재 제거 후 결실부분 신석복원 시참고가 될 수 있는 기준 정보, 중요 도상과 문양의 체적을 파악할 수 있는 형상정보를 획득하기 위해 시작하였다. 해당 모형의 제작 범위는 부재 1/3이상 파손·결실된 옥개석 이상 상륜부재로 보주, 보개, 보륜, 앙화, 옥개석 총 5개 부재이다. 디지털자료기반 모형제작 과정을 살펴보면 기존의 모형제작 과정과 차이를 보이고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있다. 기존 모형제작과정은 대상에 대한 스케치를 수행하고 그 대상에 대한 모형 틀을(석고 및 실리콘) 만들게 된다. 이때 모형틀 제작에서 작업자의 개인차가 발생하는데 숙련도 및 대상문화재 정보, 작업자의 주관적 생각이 모형틀 조각에 반영된다. 지광국사탑을 제작하는데 있어서 가장 중요한 부분은 정확한 정보를 기반으로 해당 모형이 제작되어야 한다는 것이다. 따라서 기존 방식의 모형제작은 모형틀 작업이나 조각이 작업자의 숙련도에 따라 결과물의 차이가 발생할 수 있다. 하지만 디지털 자료 기반의 모형제작은 디지털자료의 정확한 수치정보를 기반으로 3D 프린팅하기 때문에 주관적인 정보는 배제되고, 더욱 정밀하고 객관적 정보에 기반을 두는 사실 구현이 가능하다는 점이다. The production of the full-sized model of stupa of the state preceptor jigwang was started to obtain standard information that can be used as a reference when restoring the new stone in the fruited part after removing the existing mortar restoration member, and shape information that can grasp the volume of important icon and patterns. The production range of this model is a total of five members, including mound, bogae(baldachin), boryun, anghwa, and roof stone, as upper ring members with more than 1/3 of the members damaged or lost. Looking at the digital data-based modeling process, it can be seen that there is a difference from the existing modeling process. In the existing modeling process, a sketch is performed on an object and a model frame (lime and silicon) is created for the object. At this time, there is individual difference between the workers in the production of the model frame, and the skill level, information on the target cultural property, and the subjective thought of the worker are added to the model frame sculpture. The most important part in making stupa of the state preceptor jigwang is that the corresponding model must be produced based on accurate information. Therefore, in the conventional method of modeling, there may be differences in the results of model frame work or sculpture depending on the skill level of the worker. However, since digital data-based modeling is 3D printed based on accurate numerical information of digital data, subjective information is excluded, and the fact that it is based on more precise and objective information is possible.

        석모도 지열수 개발을 위한 자기지전류탐사의 적용

        A magnetotelluric survey and geological survey have been performed to delineate deeply extended fracture systems at the geothermal field in Seokmo Island, Inchon, Korea. One borehole(BH-1) succeed to meet a large fracture system at the depth of 750 m where approximately 72℃ geothermal water is overflowing, while the other borehole(BH-2), which is about 200 m eastward from BH-1, failed to develop enough geothermal water even at the depth of 1,200m. Though there have been so many electric noise sources around the survey region, good quality of MT data above 1 Hz could be obtained with careful installation, remote reference processing. Inversion of MT data for two lines roughly perpendicular to the two major lineaments respectively show that the two lineaments are related to the fracture systems that are extended at least down to 1.5 ㎞ depth and inclined eastwards. From the interpretation, additional drilling for BH-2 is recommended and finally meet the fracture systems at the depth of 1,280 m and resulted in overflow of large amount of geothermal water of temperature 69.4℃ from BH-2.
