Objectives: This study aims to assess the subjective oral health perception and oral health behavior of elementary school students to identify their relevance to the DMFT index. Methods: Based on the 7th National Health and Nutrition Survey in 2018, 1,073 elementary school students aged 7 to 12 were surveyed. Analysis ia composite general linear model analysis was performed with the DMFT index as a dependent variable. Results: An analysis of the impact on the DMFT index showed statistically significant results in age, number of brushing a day, oral examination status, and subjective oral health recognition. Conclusions: This will require the development of oral health education programs that can improve oral health of elementary school students and support measures for oral health prevention and management of elementary school students.

Objectives: Precocious puberty is associated with abnormal development and especially altered development of the teeth. We conducted a case-control study between March 2014 and March 2015 to evaluate tooth development in children with precocious puberty. Methods: The patient group consisted of 55 girls who were diagnosed with precocious puberty in the pediatrics department of a university hospital and underwent no more than one round of medication. The control group consisted of 55 typically developing children who visited a dental clinic and were age-matched to participants in the patient group. Both the patient and the control group were subjected to panoramic radiography, while sexual maturity, bone age, and sex hormones were evaluated in the patient group. Results: 1. A later calcification developmental stage of the canines, 1 st premolars, 2 nd premolars, and 2 nd molars was associated with a higher rate of inclusion in the patient group. 2. In the patient group, there was a significant association between bone age and developmental stage for all evaluated teeth (p<0.01). Conclusions: The above results demonstrate a particular need for oral healthcare in girls with precocious puberty and prioritization of tooth health in their dental care.
수직 원관에서의 메탄의 포화 유동 비등에 관한 수치해석적 연구

In this study, a numerical study on saturated flow boiling of methane is carried out in a smooth vertical pipe. The pipe has a diameter of 8 mm and length 1 m. The simulation is performed under the condition of mass flux of 52.36-150.31 kg/㎡s, heat flux range of 7,950.7-31,858.9 W/㎡, and outlet pressure of 0.7 MPa. The analysis for saturated flow boiling is implemented with taking into account the phase change process, wall boiling and inter-phase momentum transfer models. Simulation results are compared with the theoretical values and experimental results found in the literature. According to the simulation results, the vapor quality shown in the simulation is lower than that predicted by the theoretical values. However, the variation of the vapor quality with respect to heat flux shows similar trend to the theoretical value. The heat transfer coefficient is mainly dependent on the heat flux and not significantly affected by the mass flux. This means that the main mechanism of saturated flow boiling heat transfer is nucleate boiling.
일부 지역 고등학생의 측두하악장애에 따른 구강건강관련 삶의 질

Objective: This study was conducted to understand the quality of oral health related life according to TMD on high school students who are mentally stressed by their studies, etc. Methods: It conducted a questionnaire, oral checkup and clinical tests on the first and second graders of some high schools in Gangnam area and 686 copies were distributed and 643 copies were analyzed using the SPSS 21.0 statistical program. Results: TMD was found in 68 boys(21.4%) and 122 girls(37.5%) There was a significant difference between gender and TMD rates(p<0.001). In terms of oral health-related quality of life according to subjective depth of the TMD, quality of life in oral health was significantly lower from the symptomless group to the in-depth group.(p<0.001). Oral-health related quality of life was significantly lower in the in-depth group(p<0.001) than the symptomless group. Students with TMD have significantly lower oral health-related quality of life than students without TMD. Conclusions: The results of this study show that TMD affects oral health-related quality of life. As a result, it is believed that early diagnosis and treatment of TMD is necessary to maintain proper oral health during the adolescence period.
수소생산을 위한 수증기-메탄-개질 반응기의 성능 분석 및 설계

This study is to design a steam methane reforming (SMR) reactor that can produce hydrogen from methane, the main component of LNG, by extracting a portion of the gas (BOG) generated from the fuel tank to use a fuel cell as an auxiliary power source for an LNG propulsion ships. Prior to the design, performance was analyzed using several parameters. As the pressure in the reforming reactor increased, the methane conversion rate decreased. The yield to hydrogen is maximal at a temperature of 750 to 800℃, with almost 40% being reduced to hydrogen. At a low temperature, the methane conversion rate was low, and the concentrations of other compositions were also low. At a temperature above 700℃, the concentration of carbon monoxide continued to increase, while the concentration of carbon dioxide decreased. It can be seen that the water gas conversion reaction does not occur smoothly at high temperatures. The reactor design was carried out in the temperature range of 700 to 900℃, and it was found that for each 50℃ increase, the total heat transfer area required increased in the range of about 17~25%.

다도해해상국립공원의 진도 남동리 조간대 지형변화와 퇴적환경을 파악하기 위하여 지상라이다(Lidar) 및 무인 드론을 이용하여 지형을 관측하고 퇴적물을 채취하여 입도분석을 하였다. 조간대 생태계 교란식물인 갯줄풀(Spartina Alterniflora) 제거 전보다 제거 한 이후 평균고도는 0.1m(2cm/yr) 정도 낮아졌다. 제거 전 갯줄풀이 주로 서식했던 지역인 조간대의 남동쪽은 고도가 낮고 이중 또는 다중모드의 입도분포를 보이고 주로 세립한 니질퇴적상이 우세하였다. 이에 비해서 조간대 북서쪽은 고도가 높고 3Ø 정도 더 조립한 사질퇴적상을 나타냈다. 이는 갯줄 풀을 제거하는 과정에서 표층퇴적물이 교란되면서 일부가 유실되고 비교적 세립한 니질퇴적물의 재동 및 재부유작용에 의한 결과로 해석된다. To study Geomorphology of intertidal flat around southeastern of Jindo was measurement using terrestrial Lidar and drone and sedimentary environment analysed grain size of surface sediment in the Dadohaehaesang National Park. Compared to average height of intertidal flat was decreased more than 0.1m(2cm/yr) after removed Spartina Alterniflora of invasive salt marsh vegetation species. In southeastern site of intertidal flat before invasive salt marsh vegetation removal was lower height and distributed bimodal/ multimodal of finer mud facies. On the other hand, in northwestern site of intertidal flat after removed that was higher height and distributed of 3Ø more coarser sand facies. This results showed reworking and disturbance from resuspension of loosely finer sedimentary environment during removed then.
서해중부 태안해안의 현장 부유입자물질 분포와 거동 연구

In-Situ Suspended Particulate Matter(SPM) concentration of the water column and particle size distribution above the middle layer and bottom layer were measured in the Taean-Haean National Park, West Coast of Korea. The short-term series of in-situ suspended particulate matter concentration, total volume concentration, beam attenuation coefficient, mean grain size, floc size and distribution have been ensemble averaged according to tidal variation. Time variation of in-situ particle size and concentration shows bottom layer supplies relatively fine-grained particles with compared to middle layer. This explains a good correlation between sediment concentration and beam attenuation coefficient due to well defined, monotonous size distribution. Abundance of small microfloc and large macroflos with time and water column size distribution indicated the difference between organic matter in marine snow of turbidity maximum near-bottom layer and fine grain primary particles of water column. The particles supplied toward lower water column from upper water column during low tide showed a multi-modal distribution with two-three peak at coarse fraction, possibly due to the resuspension and the flocculation associated with marine biological activity and the increased shear velocity at near bottom, break-up of large flocs. This study can be used qualitative and quantitative analysis of in-situ fine suspended sediment distribution, resuspension and flocculation, land(fresh water) and marine(sea water) based source of suspended particulate matters, according to marine environmental relationship and global climate change.

Currently, many companies are endeavoring in reflecting various demands on their products. By needs for mass-customization, which means low production volume and high varieties in products, have been increased and this led to increase in cost of production. Design for Assembly (DFA) is a methodology which applies concurrent engineering concept to enable reduction in time & cost for product assembly and improvement in assemblability at product design stage. Most of existing DFA tools are implementing checklist system based on surveys on data gathered from users’ experiences at product design stage, and are assessing design under guidelines and calculating DFA indices and Efficiency. However, such methodology increases workloads, difficulties in application to 3D models and difficulties of users who are not familiar with it in understanding and utilizing. Therefore, 3D model-based DFA system, which is applicable to confirmation of assemblability for reflection onto the product design, is designed and implemented. This 3D CAD-based DFA system is expected to decrease workload and help those users who are not proficient assess assemblability more easily at the stage of product design.

Recently research in automated creation of skeleton model has been carried out actively by using Kinect developed by Microsoft. Using Kinect in the field of ergonomics simulation reduces time and costs in forming posture and movement of digital model. While Kinect provides advantages, there are some issues in "accuracy" of the coordinates acquired from it. In this paper, an algorithm that can provide ability of correcting joints and/or skeleton acquired from Kinect is proposed to correct unnatural postures and movements. The algorithm predicts the movement of a human by using movement-prediction-formula which takes moving average of previous patterns of movements and the coordinates corrected previously by ROM (Range Of Motion) into account. It leads to output that creates more natural postures and movements and that is similar to real human uses Kinect.
