RP(Rapid Prototyping) technology is gaining its popularity in building a prototype in all industries. SLS(Slective Laser Sintering) is one of RP technologies, which is focused on tooling processes as well as three dimension solid model. There are several factors, the length and the cross-sectional area of a part, that have an effect on build setup in SLS process. In this paper, the computation on geometrical relationship is used to slice STL file and to estimate these factors. Based on these values, the build setup parameters such as the heating temperature, the laser power, and the powder cartridge feed rate are determined by neural network approaches. The test results show that the computation time is saved and the neural network approach is able to apply to get the optimal parameters of build process within an acceptable error rate.
역공학에서의 측정점의 분할에 의한 B-spline 곡면의 재생성

A laser scanner is widely used fur a device fur acquiring point data in reverse engineering. It is more efficient to generate a surface automatically from the line-typed data than scattered data of points clouds. In the case of a compound model, it is hard to represent all the scanned data into one surface maintaining its original line characteristics. In this paper, a method is presented to generate a surface by the segmentation of measured point data. After forming triangular net, the segmentation is done by the user input such as the angle between triangles, the number of facets to be considered as small segment, and the angle for combining small segment. B-spline fitting is implemented to the point data in each segment. The surface generation through segmentation shows a reliable result when it is applied to the models with curvature deviation regions. An useful algorithm for surface reconstruction is developed and verified by applying an practical model and shows a good tools fur reverse engineering in design modification.
광전기 화학적 물 분해를 위한 ZnO/ZnSe/g-C3N4 접합 전극의 제조

광전기화학 성능을 향상시키기 위해 각 ZnO, ZnSe과 g-C3N4 소재의 장점을 살리도록 3성분계 적층 구조를 디자 인했다. 용액공정으로 FTO 기판위에서 ZnO 나노로드 어레이가 성장하도록 한 후 ZnO표면에 Se을 부착시켜 ZnO표면에 서 ZnSe층이 형성 되도록 이온 치환법을 도입하였다. ZnO/ZnSe 나노로드 위에 g-C3N4 층을 스핀코팅 한 후 각 층이 화 학적 접합이 되도록 질소 분위기 하에서 열처리를 하였다. AM 1.5G, 0.5 V 외부전압하에서 각 적층구조별로 광전기화학 적 전류밀도를 측정하였고 비교 결과 ZnO/ZnSe/g-C3N4 나노로드가 ZnO 및 ZnO/ZnSe 나노로드에 비하여 보다 높은 광 전류 밀도가 측정되었다. 수직 정렬된 ZnO 육각 프리즘형태는 큰 비표면적과 축 방향을 따라 전자 흐름을 원활히 하고, ZnSe 층은 비표면적과 광흡수 범위를 더욱 넗히는 효과를 가져왔다. 이로 인하여 ZnO/ZnSe/g-C3N4 삼원 접합 전극의 향상된 성능은 가시광선 흡수범위 확장, 전하 분리 강화 및 전자 전도도 향상으로 인한 시너지 효과에 기인되는 것으로 판단된다. In order to improve the photoelectrochemical (PEC) performance, the core-shell structures are designed to gain advantages of each material. Here we report a facile ion-replacement strategy for fabricating ZnO/ZnSe arrays grown on Fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) glass. g-C3N4 layer was coated on ZnO/ZnSe by spin-coating followed by annealing. Under illumination with AM1.5G, the designed ZnO/ZnSe/g-C3N4 nanorod arrays exhibitsuperior PEC performance with the highest photocurrentdensity which is higher than that of the ZnO and ZnO/ZnSe nanowire arrays at 0.5 V versus Ag/AgCl. The enhancement in the PEC performance of the ZnO/ZnSe/g-C3N4 ternary junction results from the synergistic effects of eachmaterial. Vertical aligned ZnO hexagonal prisms provided large specific surface area and electron access along the axial direction. ZnSe layer further extended specific surface area and the range of light absorption. The enhanced performance of ZnO/ZnSe/g-C3N4 can be attributed to extended visible light absorption, enhanced charge separation, improved electronic conductivity, and efficient hole extraction at the CN/electrolyte interface. The synergistic action of each component in ZnO/ZnSe/g-C3N4 led an outstanding PEC performance.

Although direct surgical treatment of the lesion in the pons may cause severe neurologic morbidity, safe route to minimize injuries of the important structures in the pons should be considered. The authors operated four cases of intrapontine lesions via safe approach route without causing severe neurologic complications. Two cases were intrapontine tumors and other two were intrapontine hematoma. An anaplastic astrocytoma($3{\times}3{\times}3cm$) located bilaterally in the pons was approached via midline of the median sulcus, and a metastatic tumor($1.5{\times}1.5{\times}1.5cm$) located at the left posterolateral aspect in the upper pons was approached via suprafacial space. Two cases of hematoma were evacuated via median sulcus, and supra- and infrafacial spaces. Preoperatively, quadriplegia, swallowing difficulty, diplopia, speech disturbance, and nystagmus were noted in a patient with an anaplastic astrocytoma. A patient with metastatic tumor showed mild right hemiparesis, right hemisensory disturbance, diplopia, and dizziness. Two patients with hematoma in the pons were comatous, and had contracted, fixed pupils. Postoperatively, a patient with an anaplastic astrocytoma recovered and a patient with a metastatic tumor showed temporary hemifacial palsy. Mental status was fully recovered normal even though facial palsy, diplopia, severe ataxia, dizziness, and tremor persisted in both patients with pontine hematoma. Careful operation based on the anatomical knowledge of the floor of the 4th ventricle is of prime importance in appraoching to the intrapontine lesion with minimal injuries of the eloquent structures during surgery.
