시험도로 줄눈콘크리트포장 줄눈폭 변화분석을 통한 AASHTO 줄눈폭 예측식 타당성 연구

국내 줄눈콘크리트포장에서 AASHTO 줄눈폭 예측식의 적정성을 판단하기 위하여 줄눈콘크리트 포장의 온도변화에 따른 줄눈폭 움직임을 중부내륙 시험도로에서 모니터링 하였고, AASHTO식과 비교분석을 하였다. 린(Lean)층, 쇄석층, BB3층을 보조기층으로 갖고 있는 포장구역을 조사구간으로 선정하였고, 또한 실런트가 줄눈폭 변화에 영향을 주는 정도를 분석하기 위해 두 구간의 줄눈채움재를 시공하지 않은 구간을 조사 대상으로 포함하여 분석한 결과 실런트가 온도변화에 따른 줄눈폭 움직임에 미치는 영향을 발견할 수 없었다. 조사구간의 줄눈에는 디멕게이지(Demec Gauge)를 설치하여 온도 변화에 따른 줄눈폭 움직임을 측정하였으며, 측정된 결과를 온도에 따른 줄눈폭 움직임을 정량화시켜 분석하기 위해서 ER (Effective Ratio)이라는 개념을 사용하였다. 분석결과 AASHTO 예측식에서는 하부지반 종류에 따라 보정계수(C)가 제안된 것에 반해 시험도로에서 계측된 결과는 하부지반 재료에 따른 줄눈폭 움직임의 차이가 발견되지 않았다. To investigate the usefulness of AASHTO joint opening equation, joint movement of Korea Highway Test Road was monitored and analyzed. The monitored section included Lean, Rubble, BB3 subbase. Demac gauges were installed at each joint in the monitored section, and joint movements with temperature changes were monitored. The measured joint movements with temperature change were then analyzed based on ER (Effective Ratio). The effect of subbase, which was considered as 'C' value in AASHTO equation, was not shown in the observed joint movement. To study the effcet of sealing on joint opening two unsealed sections were included in the monitored section, and no effects of sealing on joint movement were observed.

The self-incompatibility (SI) has been used for hybrid seed production in Brassica crops. Concerning the SI response, the S-locus glycoprotein (SLG) and the S-locus receptor kinase (SRK) genes were reported to control the SI response in the stigmatic side. Many primers have been developed using sequence of these two specific genes in Brassica crops. The first step of applying these primers into molecular analysis of SI is DNA extraction. In order to analyse thousands of sample in a short time, finding fast and efficient DNA extraction method was required. In this study, four kinds of DNA extraction methods (xanthogenate buffer, FB plate with xanthogenate buffer, Dneasy 96-plant kit, and Wizard Magnetic 96 DNA plant system) were compared for efficiency in radish. All four PCR amplification results show target bands, thus these four methods were considered good for PCR-based selection in radish. Comparing cost, labour, DNA quality and PCR amplification rate, a method using FB plate with xanthogenate buffer was proved efficient for DNA extraction in radish.

골연골종은 가장 흔한 양성골종양으로 대부분 장관골의 골간단에 주로 발생한다. 수부에 발생하는 골연골종은 드물며 그 중 관절내 골연골종은 매우 드문 것으로 되어 있다. 저자들은 53세 여자 환자에서 제 3 중수골 두부에 발생된 관절내 골연종을 보고하고자 한다. 적출된 종물은 $10{\times}8{\times}5$ mm 크기로 명확한 연골모를 가지고 있었다. The osteochondroma is the most common benign bone tumor which arise in the metaphyseal or metaphysiodiaphyseal portion of long bone. Osteochondroma is rare in hand and extremely rare in the intraarticular location of the hand. We report a case of intraarticular osteochondroma which occurred at the third metacarpal head of the hand in a 53 year old female patient. The size of the excised mass was $10{\times}8{\times}5$ mm with definite cartilage cap.

This study was conducted to select random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) primers for showing reliable polymorphism in roses. The rose genomic DNA concentration for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was from 1 to 20 ng and annealing temperature was from 35 to 40℃. Taq polymerase concentration was efficient in 1.0 unit. Band patterns were distinguishable in 155 primers out of 191 primers and the 100 primers were reproducible. Twenty primers were selected with distinguishable and over 80% reproducible polymorphism on agarose gel. This study will support Korean rose breeding program and the fingerprints obtained in this study were uploaded on the internet site; http://hanth.jnu.ac.kr.
