        RENO 검출기에서 중심좌표 측정 및 중성미자선속율 계산

        An underground facility for the measuring neutrino oscillation parameter (θ13) including the cavity, exit tunnel and research tunnel, was constructed at the near site (~290 m) and the far site (~1.4 km). The center coordinates of the detector were determined automatically during tunnel construction. In this paper, we consider the flux ratio between the detectors and neutrino sources. 반전자중성미자를 이용한 진동상수(θ13)측정을 위하여중성미자발생 원천들의 중심으로부터 2대의 동일한 검출기를 설치할공간이 근거리(~290 m)와 원거리(~1.4 km)에 건설되었다. 이설치공간의 검출기중심좌표는 터널건설시에 결정되었다. 본 논문에서는검출기중심좌표와 중성미자원천중심좌표 사이에 상대적 거리를 결정하여원, 근거리 검출기에서의 중성미자 선속율의 비를 고찰하였다.

        RENO 중성미자 지하관측시설의 진동 측정

        RENO project is the experiment for measurement of the parameter(θ13) of anti-electron neutrino oscillation. In the project, we had found the physical conditions of the tunnel through measuring mechanical oscillation and noise. The test blasting at the start point of the near tunnel was used for getting constants (K, n) of blasting vibration and blasting prediction equation. Also, we have got a noise prediction equation through the test blasting at the start point of the far tunnel. In this paper, we have made the basis on physica1 condition of oscillation and noise by measuring oscillation and noise in tunnel's excavation. RENO실험은 원자로에서 핵반응시 방출되는 반전자중성미자의 진동상수(θ13)를 측정하는 실험이다. 이를 위한 실험시설 중 터널작업의 역학적 진동 및 소음을 측정하여 터널의 물리적 조건을 해석하였다. 근거리 터널시점에서 시험발파를 통해서 발파진동상수(K,n) 및 추정식을 산출하였다. 원거리터널 시점에서 시험발파를 통해서 소음 추정식을 산출했다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 추정식에 기반하여 터널굴착 진동 및 소음량을 측정하여 물리적 진동 및 소음 조건에 대한 기준을 마련하였다.

        저자들은 신생아기 이후의 비타민 K 의존성 혈액응고인자의 감소로 인한 출혈성 질환을 5례 관찰하고 문헌 고찰을 하였다. We observed hemorrhagic disease due to vitamin K deficiency in 5 infants from 3 weeks to 7 months of age. The main problems were prolonged bleeding from the injection site in 3 cases and intracranial bleeding in 3 cases. The diagnosis was made with clinical manifestations, laboratory findings of prolonged PT and PTT and correction of PT and PTT after vitamin K injection. A brief review of literatures was made.

      • 부산 및 경남지방 학생들의 상완 둘레 및 피부 두께의 통계적 관찰

        1984년 5월부터 1년간 부산 및 경남지역의 건강한 7세부터 15세까지의 학동 5,853명을 대상으로 상완 둘레 및 피부 두께를 측정하였기에 결과를 보고하는 바이다. The measurement of left mid-arm circumference and skinfold thickness (triceps, subscarpular and abdominal) by Holtain skinfold caliper was done on 5,835 healthy Korean children aged from 7 to 15 years, living in Pusan and Kyung-Nam urban areas. The results are summarized as follows: 1) The upper arm circumference of both sexes were increased rapidly from the age of 7 years (male, 17. ± 0.9 cm; female, 17.5 ± 1.2 cm) to the age of 15 years (male, 23.2 ± 1.6 cm; female, 23.0 ± 1.8 cm). 2) The triceps skinfold thickness of both sexes were lowest at the age of 9 years (male,7.2 ± 2.0 mm; female,7.6±1.4 mm). In the feamale, it was increased slowly until 15years of age but in the male, decreased after 13 years of age and the difference at 15 years of age was 3.4 mm. 3) The subscarpular skinfold thickness in male was lowest at the age of 9 years, 4.8±1.2 mm and in female, lowest at the age of 8 years, 5.1 ± 1.3mm. The change pattern in female was more rapidly increased than male and the results at 15 years of age in male was 5.8±2.1 mm, in female was 8.3 ± 1.3 mm. 4) The abdominal skinfold thickness of both sexes were lowest at 9 years of age (male, 4.4±1.7 mm; female, 4.8±1.3 mm) and the results at 15 years of age in male was 5.8 ± 2.1 mm, in female was 8.0±1.3 mm. 5) The change pattern of skinfold thickness was higher in female than in male after 10 years of age, unrelated with measured site. The result of skinfold thickness shows highest at triceps and lowest at abdomen.

        입자영상유속계와 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 이용한 분기관내 유동해석

        The objective of the current study is to understand steady 3-dimensional flow phenomena in a bifurcated duct experimentally. A bifurcation model is fabricated with transparent acrylic resin to visualize the whole flow field with the PIV system. The gray level cross-correlation method is applied to the image processing algorithm. The subpixel and the area interpolation methods are used to obtain the final velocity vectors. The finite volume predictions are used to analyze the flow patterns in the bifurcation model. The results of the computer simulation and the PIV experiment for three-dimensional flow show the recirculation zone and the formation of the paired secondary flow distal to the apex of the bifurcation model. The results obtained with the two methods also show that the branch flow strongly strikes the inner wall due to the inertial effect and accompanied helical motion as it flows toward the outer wall.
