In this paper, we propose a systematic procedure to determine standard time and cycle time in a TFT-LCD factory. The proposed procedure mainly consists of data preprocessing, hypothesis testing and Group technology. Data preprocessing extracts relevant data from large on-line data sets by eliminating corrupt and noisy data. Hypothesis test techniques have been used to determine whether the standard information has been changed. Also, Group technology has been applied to generate standard information for newly developed products. The proposed procedure has been successfully applied to the production information system of a TFT-LCD factory in Korea.

This study examined emergency exit location with the most representing school floor type with a mathematical model that applied optimized algorithm in the field of engineering. Recent school buildings became much more diverse in floor planning than the old days. Nevertheless, architect's approach to building prevention against fire related emergency planning still relies on an personal experience and knowledge. Therefore, since school buildings are much more likely to be exposed to any fire related events, emergency exit planning has to be seriously evaluated with a scientific method. The algorithm, which acquires the number of persons in each spatial type(node) and the minimum physical distance between spatial types(arc), can propose the most optimized emergency exit locations. Consequently, this study compared an architect's fire exit planning with the scientific outcome of this study and suggested the most reliable emergency exit locations.
프로젝트 핵심성공요소와 평가에 대한 새로운 프레임웍에 관한 연구

The critical success factors of a project are defined as the areas of activity that should receive constant and careful attention from management during the project life cycle. This research investigates the development of critical success factors through empirical study from 1980s and finally proposes a new frame work of critical success factors in four dimensions. The new frame work systemizes the information flow using Critical Success Factors. This research also proposes the evaluation guidelines utilizing critical success factors which have been cited from 63 publications. If we use the New Frame work and Evaluation Guideline for Critical Success Factors, it will be easy to find the strong and weak point of a project team or structure, and the failure factors for the success of the project.
