Effects of ZrO₂ stabilizers such as 3㏖% Y₂O₃, 8㏖% Y₂O₃, and 9㏖% MgO on the joining phenomena of Ni-Cr steel/Al/ZrO₂ joints have been examined by the concept of solid state diffusion bonding. Irrespective of stahilizers used, the Al/ZrO₂ joint whose reaction layer could not be detected showed a good contact while the reaction layer of the Ni-Cr steel/Al was the diffusion layer of Al and Fe. The joint shear strength of this system did not show any distinct differences even though ZrO₂ stabilizers are varying. The maximun shear strength was 27 ㎫ under a pressure of 100 ㎫, temperature of 635℃, and the time of 120min. The residual stress resulting from the thermal expansion mismatch between ZrO₂ and A1 was different depending on the A1 layer depth sites. It was shown that compressive residual stress could be found at the Al/ZrO₂ interface while tensile residual stress at the NI-Cr steel/Al interface.

Nocardiosis is uncommon in healthy people, but occurs as an opportunistic infection in patients with connective tissue disease, solid organ transplantation, lung disease, malignancies, and the acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS). Nocardia is a gram positive, variably acid-fast aerobic bacterium of the family Nocardiaceae characterized by branching and filamentous growth, with distinctive aerial hyphae. In systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients, immunosuppressiion with cytotoxic drugs or corticosteroids, proteinuria, renal insufficiency, and active SLE itself are known as risk factors for serious bacterial infections and opportunistic infections. We report a case of pulmonary Nocardiosis in patient with lupus nephritis treated with cyclophosphamide and high dose corticosteroid.
다슬기에서 추출한 Lipoxygenase의 정제와 특성

양산의 내원사 계곡에 서식하는 다슬기를 채집하여 다슬기 내에 존재하는 lipoxygenase를 정제하고 특성을 관찰하였다. 다슬기에서 추출한 lipoxygenase는 40~60% ammonium sulfate 획분에서 최대의 활성을 보였으며, 20~40%에서도 약간의 활성을 볼 수 있었다. Sephacryl S-200 gel chromatography에서는 3개의 단백질 peak를 얻었고, 그 중 첫번째 peak에서 활성이 나타남을 확인하였다. DEAE-Sepharose ion exchange chromatography에서는 0M~0.5M범위의 NaCl용액의 농도구배로 용출시킨 결과 0.1M에서 lipoxygenase가<br/> 용출되는 것을 알 수 있었다. 각 단계의 정제도는 염석, Sephacryl S-200 gel chromatography, DEAE-Sepharose ion exchange chromatography 과정을 거치는 동안 specific activity가 20.8U/㎎, activity yield는 19.8%였다. 효소의 pH에 대한 영향을 보기 위해 pH 4.0~9.0의 범위에서 효소의 활성을 관찰해 보았다. pH 4.0에서부터 pH가 증가함에 따라 활성도 증가하다가 pH 6.0~8.0 사이에서는 최대의 활성을 나타내었고, pH 8.0 이후에서는 점차 감소하는 추세를 볼 수 있었다. 효소의 온도에 따른 영향을 관찰한 결과 최적 반응온도는 30℃에 서 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 7.5% acrylamide gel을 이용하여 전기영동을 실시한 결과 단일 밴드를 확인할 수 있었는데, 이 단일 밴드를 통해서 완전한 정제가 이루어진 것으로 판명할 수 있었고, 표준단백절의 밴드와 비교하여 분자량을 검정한 결과 약 35kDa으로 판단되었다. Melania snail(Semisulcopira bensoni) is used as an ingredient in Korean traditional soup and nutritional foods. Generally, lipoxygenase in several food products may produce off-flavors during their processing and storage. Therefore, the inactivation of lipoxygenase is required to make the better extracts from Melania snail. Also, the quality on freshness of Melania snail may be evaluated by lipoxygenase activity. The lipoxygenase activity was the highest at 40~60% saturation among several concentrations in salting-out saturated solution of ammonium sulfate. The partial purification of lipoxygenase was successfully obtained by Sephacryl S-200 gel chromatography. The first peak among three peaks for protein determination snowed the highest activity of lipoxygenase in 13~16 fractions among 100 fractions. The highest peak of lipoxygenase activity by ion exchange chromatography was shown at 0.1M NaCl. In the purification step, the specific activity was 20.8U/㎎ and activity yield was 19.8%. The optimum pH and temperature were pH6.0~8.0 and 30℃, respectively. Molecular weight of the lipoxygenase was estimated about 35kDa by SDS-PAGE.
자가용 구매결정요인에 관한 연구 -중국 자동차 시장을 중심으로-

중국은 세계에서 제일 큰 자동차시장이다. 중국 자동차시장의 급속한 성장과 함께 세계의 주요한 자동차메이커들의 중국진출이 활발히 진행되고 있으며 선진적인 기술력과 경영전략으로 중국시장을 선점하기 위하여 심혈을 기울이고 있다. 과거의 소비자들은``좋은 차``를 찾기 위해 노력했지만, 오늘날의 소비자들은 ``자신에게 맞는 차``를 찾고 있다. 객관적으로 좋은 평가를 받고 있는 차가 있다고 해도, 그 차가 자신이 원하는 바와 다르다면, 관심을 두지 않는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 자가용구매를 고려하고 있거나 자가용을 이미 구매했지만 다른 차종으로 바꾸려는 15명의 잠재소비자, 5명의 자동차판매업자 및 4명의 경제·경영분야 교수들에 의한 브레인스토밍(brain storming)방식의 설문조사를 통해서 평가항목 요인들을 선정하고, 선정된 요인들의 관련성을 검토 및 분석하여 AHP분석계층구조를 완성하고, 설문조사를 진행하였다. China is the largest automobile market in the world. World`s famous automobile companies are entering China followed by rapid growth of Chinese automobile market and are focusing on expanding efforts to gain prior occupation of the Chinese with advanced technical skills and management strategy. Consumers of the past only tried to find ``a good vehicle``, while consumers of today are trying their best to find ``an appropriate vehicle``. Consumers are not interested to a car with objectively favorable appraisal if it is not the kind of one that they have in mind. This study have organized assessment factors for a vehicle purchase that have considered from prior studies and have selected the assessment factors through brain storming method from 15 potential consumers who already possess vehicle but who are willing to purchase new vehicles, 5 automobile dealers, and 4 professors in Economics and Management. The relevance of selected factors was reviewed and analyzed by utilizing AHP(Analytical Hierarchical Process). The strength of AHP method allowed only consistent responses to be considered. This study differs from other prior studies by considering hierarchical perspective of consumers. Therefore, the result of this study would be valuable for both Chinese consumers and automobile companies of the world.

Objective: Research on calcium use as an adjunctive rescue therapy for refractory septic shock is limited. In this study, we aimed to investigate the short-term hemodynamic response after calcium supplementation in patients with refractory septic shock. Methods: This was a single-center, retrospective study of patients who presented to the Emergency Department from October 2014 through February 2018. Patients with refractory septic shock requiring norepinephrine-equivalent (NE) dose ≥ 0.5 μg/kg/min and receiving calcium supplementation, were included in the analysis. Patients were categorized into response group and no-response group, based on the changes in NE doses and mean arterial pressure after calcium administration. A multivariable logistic regression model was used to evaluate the association between hemodynamic response and 28-day survival. Results: A total of 66 patients were included in the study. Of these, 34 patients (52%) were classified as the response group, and 32 patients (48%) encompassed the no-response group (17 patients who deteriorated and 15 patients who had no significant changes in the clinical status). The 28-day mortality was determined to be 44% in the response group and 63% in the no-response group (P=0.14). Multivariable analysis revealed that the response group had a significant association with lower 28-day mortality (adjusted odds ratio, 0.23; 95% confidence interval, 0.06-0.89; P=0.03). Conclusion: Short-term hemodynamic changes after calcium administration were variable in patients with refractory septic shock. Hemodynamic improvement after calcium supplementation may be associated with better survival. Further studies are required to determine when calcium supplementation needs to be considered, and how it impacts patientcentered outcomes in refractory septic shock.

The experimental and the numerical study was performed on the comparison of thermal comfort(TC) and indoor air quality(IAQ) in the lecture room for cooling loads when the operating conditions are changed. PMV value and CO² concentration of the lecture room were measured and compared with the numerical results. The numerical results showed a good agreement with the experimental one and then the numerical tool was used to analyze thermal comfort and IAQ for a couple of operating conditions. As a result it was found that the increment of the discharge angle of system air-conditioner makes TC uniformity worse, but rarely affects IAQ. Also TC and IAQ were hardly affected by the variation of the discharge airflow. Finally it turned out that TC is merely affected by the increment of the ventilation airflow, but the average CO² concentration can be satisfied with Japanese standards when the ventilation airflow is more than 800CMH in this study.
