최근 스마트 환경에서의 개인정보 이슈가 부각되면서 스마트 환경 내 개인정보보호 조치 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 즉, 업무 환경이 스마트폰이나 태블릿 PC 등과 같은 휴대성·이동성이 뛰어난 기기로 전향되면서 이에 대한 각종 보안위협도 증가하고 있다. 스마트기기 보안위협 요소로는 악성코드 뿐만 아니라 스마트기기 자체의 취약점 또는 부주의한 관리 등의 보안 문제가 제기되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 스마트기기 기반 개인정보 이용·관리 시 발생가능 한 개인정보 이슈 및 취약점을 분석하여 취급자 측면에서의 개인정보보호를 위한 프레임워크와 이를 실 환경 내 적용 할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

Recently, brand equity is paid much attention in various industries. However, container liner shipping companies are still unfamiliar with this concept, and also the brand equity model has not been tested yet in shipping context. This study, therefore, aims to measure the relative importance of brand equity factors of container liner shipping companies by employing AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process). This study concludes that perceived quality, in particular cost-related service quality, is the most influential factor of brand equity, while weak support is found for brand association. In addition to this, group comparisons were conducted between shipping companies, freight forwarders and academics. The results will be useful as they firstly define brand equity and its role in shipping context, highlighting the significance of brand management to container liner shipping firms. This evaluation is not an end in itself, but will eventually be utilised as a tool to build competitive advantage which cannot be easily imitated by competitors.

To achieve a differential advantage over competitors and protect their long-term interest, shipping lines have striven to find ways to maintain an ongoing relationship with shippers which can be achieved by attaining their loyalty. The benefits of loyal shippers are potentially huge in that they generate long-term revenue streams as well as provide cost savings as compared with attracting new shippers. Logistics service provided by shipping lines is identified as one of the effective tools for building customer loyalty. However,in a review of the literature none of the studies examine how logistics service creates customer loyalty, particularly between shipping lines and shippers. Consequently, the overarching purpose of this paper is to extend knowledge on logistics service performance and its relationship with customer loyalty in the unique context of maritime transport by proposing a new conceptual model based on an extensive literature review. The major contribution is to offer a new insight into the complex relationships between those ‘soft’ concepts in the context of maritime transport.
외래어 활용 초등영어 어휘 지도에 대한교사와 학생의 인식 및 수업 개선

This study aimed to investigate elementary English teachers’ perceptions of vocabulary instruction using English loan words in Korean. It also examined how a teacherresearcher improved English lessons using loan words and the students’ perceptions of the lessons. Thirty teachers were surveyed, and six teachers were also interviewed. The teacher-researcher taught ten lessons using loan words to forty-six third grade students in two classes. The students were surveyed after the fourth and the tenth lessons. The data were analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. The findings are as follows: First, there were more teachers who did not use loan words in their vocabulary instruction than there were teachers who did. While most teachers recognized the usefulness of using loan words, not many teachers thought that they needed to teach them in class. Second, vocabulary instruction using loan words was enhanced through the cycle of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Third, the lessons using loan words positively affected the students’ vocabulary learning and learning attitudes. However, students perceived loan words as less usable and learnable than teachers did. Important implications regarding vocabulary instruction using loan words are discussed.

This research seeks to improve the understanding of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and its advantages in the shipping sector. Recently, an improved emphasis on CSR, which incorporates environmental and social concerns into economic considerations of firms, can be found in business management and marketing literature. This is mainly because of people’s increased awareness in regards to the negative consequences of corporate activities such as increased environmental pollution and gaps between the rich and the poor. According to the previous literature, it has been revealed that responsible actions by companies can generate positive outcomes in terms of financial and time aspects, but more importantly, intangible equity of the company, including improved corporate reputation, image as well as brand. As the regulation is intensifying in regards to environmental and social responsibility in the shipping sector, shipping companies are trying to engage in CSR to gain competitive advantages. While the reputation and image of shipping companies play essential roles for developing sustainable maritime transport, few studies have been conducted for how the CSR of shipping companies influence the shipping companies’ reputation and image relative to other industries. In this regard, this study aims to investigate the effect of the corporate social responsibility on corporate reputation and image of shipping companies on the basis of an exploratory study in the Republic of Korea. This research would be beneficial to both academics and practitioners for developing useful CSR strategies which could promote the public’s recognition of the shipping sector.
종합병원 간호사가 인식한 환자안전문화와 소진이 안전관리활동에 미치는 영향

Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine effects of patient safety culture and burnout on safety management activities with a focus on clinical experience of nurses in general hospitals. Methods: Self-administered questionnaires were given to nurses in a general hospital in C Province, and 107 questionnaires were used for final analysis. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 21.0 Program for t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. Results: The highest score as perceived by general hospital nurses for patient safety culture was for ‘Immediate superior/Manager’(3.84), for burnout, the highest score was for ‘Emotional exhaustion’ (4.13), and for safety management activities, the highest score was for ‘Prevention of infection’ (3.96). Patient safety culture and safety management activities perceived by general hospital nurses showed significant positive correlations (r=.35 p<.001). The correlations between burnout and safety management activities perceived by the nurses showed significant negative correlations (r=-.37, p<.001). Results of hierarchical regression analysis conducted to identify factors that affect safety management activities showed that patient safety culture (β=.40 p<.001) was effective for controlling safety management activities. Conclusion: The findings indicate a need to build a patient safety culture that fits the characteristics and situations of various hospitals.
고프먼 관점에 따른 자아의 유형화와 커뮤니케이션적 함의

이 글은 인터넷 커뮤니케이션 환경에서 자아가 어떠한 모습으로 나타나는가를 구체화하기 위한 새로운 이론적 틀을 제시하고자 했다. 인터넷 환경에서의 자아를 유형화할 수 있는 이론적 관점을 제시한 연구는 아직 찾아보기 힘들다면, 이 연구는 어빙 고프먼(Erving Goffman)의 사회적 상호작용에서 나타나는 자아에 대한 관점들을 토대로 자아의 유형화를 시도하고 그 커뮤니케이션적 함의를 파악하고자 했다. 고프먼에 따르면 사회적 상호작용에서 역할을 수행하는 연극적 자아에는 서로 다른 자아의 모습들이 나타난다. 이 연구는 고프먼의 관점을 토대로 사회적 상호작용에서 나타나는 자아를 ‘자아추구적 자아’, ‘상호작용 의례적 자아’, ‘자기관리적 자아’로 구분하고 그 특징들을 설명했다. 또한 이런 자아의 유형화가 어떠한 커뮤니케이션적 함의를 가지며, 인터넷 공간에서의 소통적 자아에는 어떻게 적용될 수 있는가에 대해 파악해 보았다. 이를 통해 21세기 인터넷의 새로운 상호작용 환경에서 개개인의 자아가 결정하는 다양한 커뮤니케이션 행위와 그 효과에 관한 연구를 확장할 수 있는 이론적 토대로서 고프먼 관점에 따른 자아의 유형화가 갖는 함의를 논의하였다. The primary purpose of this study is to identify the types of self in Internet communication environment. Following Goffman’s perspective on self in social interaction, this study classified self into three types: self-pursuing, interaction-ritualistic, and self-managing self. Futhermore, this study discussed the communicational implication of the types of self following Goffman’s perspective and their application to the self on Internet. The finding of the study reported here provides theoretical bases for classifying different types of self-presentation on Internet and investigating their distinct effects, for future subsequent research.
국내 물류전공 고등교육기관의 커리큘럼 이슈에 대한 탐색적 연구

With increasing interest in and the significance of the logistics industry in the Republic of Korea, it is essential for logistics educators to meet the educational requirements in higher education institutions (HEIs), which are of high importance to the industry. However, there is no comprehensive research that organises information on HEIs offering logistics majors. Using higher education data in Korea, this study scrutinises the present situations of 37 Korean HEIs regarding logistics majors. Cluster analysis, used to group university curricula according to similar characteristics, identified five different groups, which demonstrates that the focus of the curricula at such HEIs differs. The findings of this preliminary study will provide basic understanding concerning logistics education in Korea and suggest some direction for further academic research.
