Currently, most public health dental hygienists are baby boom approaching generation and now is the time when should prepare for their life after retirement. Therefore, this study tries to identify the preparation level toward retirement for successful aged life of public health dental hygienists and the effects to their organizational commitment. This study is a cross-section research which was investigated targeting 228 health dental hygienists who participated in job training held by Korea Society of Health Dental Hygienists on 2014 Mar 21st. 7 questions in general characteristics, subjective health awareness, self-respect, preparation toward retirement and organizational commitment were investigated and hierarchical multivariate regression was conducted using self report type survey. Study results showed that health dental hygienists with good economic preparation toward retirement have higher emotional, continuous, normative organizational commitment and those who have physical preparation toward retirement have higher emotional and normative organizational commitment. And results also showed health dental hygienists who are metropolitan residents and have good physical and economic preparation toward retirement have higher organizational commitment. Above results showed public health dental hygienists have higher organizational commitment level as the retirement preparation level is higher. Therefore, for successful aged life of health dental hygienists, multilateral strategies are required for their preparation toward retirement.
일부 치과위생사의 금연 지도 활동에 관한 지식, 태도 및 실천

This research was performed to be used as basic data for educational program development related to smoking prohibition guidance by finding out the relevance among variables of dental hygienists' knowledge, attitude and practice on the smoking prohibition guidance. The formalized research paper which had been used to nurses was revised with a few complements and accomplished through a visit. Both-test and dispersion analyses were performed and a post test was followed. Relevance analysis was fulfilled for the relevance among the variables and the research results are as followed. 1. Likert 3 and grade 2.14 in the knowledge on smoking prohibition guidance of dental hygienists; These results are statistically similar since the higher academic careers are based, the higher grades are obtained. 2. Likert 5 and grade 3.14 in the attitude on hygienists' smoking prohibition guidance activities. 3. High awareness on the importance of non-smoking in case there is no smoker among family. 4. Likert 5 and grade 3.16 in the practice of smoking prohibition guidance activities. 5. Similar relevance among the knowledge, attitude and practice; the higher knowledge, the more positive attitude and the more positive attitude, the more practice.
초고온가스로 모사 실험회로 설계를 위한 전산유체역학 해석

한국원자력연구원에서는 초고온가스로를 모사할 수 있는 중형 헬륨 회로를 건설 중에 있다. 이 실험 헬륨 회로에서 두 개의 전기 가열기가 헬륨 유체를 1 ~ 9 ㎫ 의 압력 하에서 950℃ 까지 가열하게 된다. 이 실험 헬륨 회로의 설계 사양을 최적화하기 위하여, 본 연구에서는 두 개의 가열기 중 하류에 위치한 고온 헬륨가열기 안의 복합열전달 현상을 전산유체역학으로 해석하였다. 해석 결과에서 헬륨 가열기 내 최대 온도는 허용 한계를 넘지 않았고, 이로써 선정된 기하구조의 열적 특성은 설계요건을 만족함이 확인되었다. The heaters of the test helium loop electrically heat helium fluid up to 950℃ at pressures of 1 to 9 ㎫. To optimize the design specifications of the experimental helium loop, the conjugate heat transfer in the high-temperature helium heater was analyzed by performing a CFD simulation. The analysis results indicate that the maximum temperature does not exceed the allowable limit. It is confirmed that the thermal characteristics of the loop with the given geometry satisfy the design requirements.

A medium scale Helium loop that can simulate a VHTR(Very High Temperature Reactor) is now under construction in Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute. The heater of the test Helium loop electrically heats up the Helium fluid up to 950℃ at the pressure of 1 ~ 9㎫. To optimize design specification of the experimental Helium loop, conjugate heat transfer in the high-temperature Helium heater was analyzed by CFD simulation. From the analysis results, the maximum temperature does not exceed the allowable limit. It is confirmed that thermal characteristics of the given geometry well meet the design requirements.
직무분석을 통한 치과위생사 국가시험 문항개발 기준 연구

This study aimed to develop standard items for the Korean Dental Hygienists' Licensing Examination; these items were also earmarked for use in developing the curriculum for dental hygienists, and in writing a job description, based on a job analysis using the Developing A Curriculum Method (DACUM). It also aimed to understand the significance and frequency of task elements that dental hygienists perform. Data were collected by means of a mail survey, in the form of self-entry, from a sample of dental hygienists registered with the Korean Dental Hygienists' Association. In all, 260 responses were analyzed. The tasks of dental hygienists were divided into four categories, 93 tasks, and 494 task elements. There were 281 elements (61%) that scored higher than 3.5 in significance, in the 4-scale items, and 480 elements (98%) that scored higher than 3.0. There were 30 elements (6%) that scored higher than 3.5 in frequency, and 140 elements (29%) that scored higher than 3.0 in frequency. Overall, 130 out of 494 elements (27%) scored higher than 3.0 for both significance and frequency. Therefore, those 130 elements should be included as items in the Korean Dental Hygienists' Licensing Examination. The results can also be used for curriculum development and as the basis of a job description for dental hygienists.
