Anodic $TiO_2$film on Ti substrate was fabricated at 180V in sulfuric acid solutions containing phosphoric acid and hydrogen peroxide. Effects of the anodizing conditions on the morphology of the oxide layers, and chemical states of the component elements of the layers were studied primarily using SEM, XRD, AFM, and XPS. The pores in the oxide layer was not uniform in size, shape, and growth direction particularly near the interface between the substrate and the oxide layer, compared with those of the surface layer. The formation of irregular type of pores seemed to be attributed to spark discharge phenomena which heavily occurred during increasing the anodic voltage. The pore diameter and the cell size increased, and the number of cells per unit area decreased with the increasing time. From the XPS results, it was shown that component elements of the electrolytes, P and S, existed in the chemical states of $PO_4^{-3}$ , $P_2$$O_{5}$, $SO_4^{-2}$ , $SO_3^{-2}$ , P, S, etc., which were penetrated from the electrolytes into the oxide layer during anodization.

광촉매 특성을 지닌 $TiO_2$ 피막을 인가 전압 180 V에서 양극산화법을 이용하여 제조하고, 산화조건에 따른 구조적 차이에 대하여 조사하였다. 황산 및 황산+과산화수소 용액의 경우 $TiO_2$의 구조가 rutile과 anatase형이 혼합된 형태를 지녔으나, 황산+인산 및 황산+인산+과산화수소 혼합용액의 경우에는 대부분 anatase형의 $TiO_2$가 제조되었음을 알 수 있었다. 양극산화법에 의해 제조된 $TiO_2$는 모두 광촉매 특성율을 나타냈으며, 아닐린 블루 분해 반응의 경우 모든 산화 조건에서 반응차수가 1로 나타났으며 속도상수값이 거의 유사함을 알 수 있었다. Photocatalytic $TiO_2$ films were prepared by anodic oxidation at 180 V and their structural difference caused by oxidation conditions was studies. The microstructure of $TiO_2$ films in $H_2SO_4$ and $H_2SO_4/H_2O_2$ solution was mixed type of rutile and anatase. However, the $TiO_2$ layer formed in $H_2SO_4/H_3PO_4$ and $H_2SO_4/H_3PO_4/H_2O_2$ mixture was mostly anatase type. All $TiO_2$ films prepared by anodic oxidation exhibited photocatalytic properties. The photocatalytic degradation of aniline blue was first order reaction with similar rate constants at all oxidative conditions examined in this work.

TiO_(2) films were synthesized by anodizing process in which electrochemical method. The surface behaviors and photocatalystic properties of anodic oxide layers on titanium were investigated. TiO_(2) layers formed in H_(2)SO_(4) solution were consisted of anatase and rutile mixed type structure. Irregular shape of pores at the initial stage of anodization seemed to be attributed to spark discharge phenomena which heavily occurred during increasing voltages. TiO_(2) layers formed in H_(2)SO_(4) and H_(3)PO_(4) mixed solution were consisted of anatase type structure and surface morphology exhibited a porous cell structure. The surface and microstructure of anodic film formed in H_(2)SO_(4) solution differed from that of TiO_(2) films formed in H_(2)SO_(4) + H_(3)PO_(4) solution.
